Chapter 57 Meeting Mommy

Raven's condition looked better this morning. His eyes immediately sparkled to see Kirana upon waking up from her sleep. His hand was stretched out asking to be carried by Kirana.

Seeing Raven's condition is still weak and impossible to leave, Kirana decided to take a leave of absence today. Kirana sends a message to Echi and Rano if he is on leave today because there is a family need.

Raven whines for a walk when Kirana holds him, but the infusion hose is still attached to the toddler's arm. Kirana persuades him that Raven can come out when her infusion tube is removed.

The boy complied with Kirana, even as Kirana washed her body and changed Raven's clothes, then gave her milk and bread for breakfast.

Kirana smiled as Raven started chattering, even as Steven walked in to check on her in the morning, Raven whined to have the hose removed.

Kirana felt a little relieved because of the arrival of Steven accompanied by two nurses and one assistant doctor. A doctor's official visit examines his patient, not a Steven who's seeing his friend's child.

At 9am Aunt Mira reported that they could only get to the hospital around 10. Kirana finally decided to take Raven for a walk to the hospital park. That's because the fluid in the infusion bag is exhausted.

“Kirana !” The call made Kirana turn towards the source of the sound.

He is currently sitting on a hospital park bench, taking Raven to sunbathe for a while.

“Mommy ?” Kirana was surprised to see Amelia's mommy in the hospital, and was happy to meet her future father-in-law.

“Whose son, Ki ?” Mommy Amelia's eyes squinted as she saw Raven hugging Kirana's neck and hiding her face in the recess of the girl's neck.

“Children Shera, Mom.”

Mommy Amelia looked surprised. The look of his face changed look less like to see his future daughter-in-law holding the daughter of Sebastian's ex-wife.

“Why are you the same ? Where is Shera going?”

“Name's Raven, Mom. He is sick and being treated here. According to Aunt Mira, Shera is on office duty to Singapore.”

“So Mira told you to accompany her grandson in place of her mother?” Mommy Amelia's voice sounded slightly raised with an annoyed face.

“Sorry, Mom,” Kirana bows her head, feeling guilty. She has not even received permission from her future husband.

Mommy Amelia sighed and realized that she had been carried away by emotions. Given how Shera treated Sebastian and the end of their relationship at this hospital, it made Amelia's mommy feel uncomfortable.

“Then why can Mira contact you and ask to keep her grandson ?” Momny Amelia's voice sounded softened.

“Kiran has met with Raven several times, Mom. And according to Aunt Mira, Raven was looking for Kiran during a fever last night,” Kirana raised her face and looked into the eyes of Amelia's mommy who still looked upset.

“Do Sebastian know about this ?

Kirana shakes. “It was 3 days ago Kiran could not contact Mas Bastian. Even wa Kiran has not been read. Sorry, Mom, Kiran has come here without Mas Bastian's permission.”

Kirana starts calling Sebastian with an additional Mas in front of her two in-laws. It was impossible with such a far enough age range, Kirana just called out her name or called her Bee as usual.

Mommy Amelia sighed again. He picked up the phone from his bag and contacted someone. It turns out that Amelia's mommy contacted Richard's daddy who immediately picked up her call.

“What is Bastian with you, baby ?”

“Can I have Bastian contact me or Kirana immediately ?”

“I love you too, Dear.”

Kirana just heard the words of mommy Kirana without knowing what was conveyed by daddy Richard.

“You've had breakfast ?” Mommy Amelia was a little sorry for being so hard on Kirana.

“Not yet, Mom. Aunt Mira and Om Herman just got to the hospital around 10.”

“Huh has asked for help people, even your food is not noticed,” snorted mommy Amelia with an upset face.

“Come breakfast first,” take mommy Amelia while walking to the cafe near the lobby.

Kirana nodded and told Raven that they would go find a snack first. Raven raised her face and nodded.

His joy was gone and his face was a little scared. Kirana was confused because of Raven's attitude towards people she just met, including when the toddler met Echi and Marsha the mall a moment ago.

“Mommy doesn't eat ?”

“Mommy still has to fast until 10 because it will check up. You just eat, do not get sick when left Bastian.”

Kirana nodded and smiled as it received the attention of her in-laws. Kirana sees mommy Amelia's gaze focused on Raven on her lap.

Kirana persuades Raven to shake hands with Amelia's mommy as well as mention her name. At first he shook his head, but after Kirana persuaded him Raven finally nodded.

“Laven,” he said still a little slurred when mommy Amelia's hand held it.

“Oma Amelia,” mommy Amelia started smiling when she mentioned her name.

Slowly Raven's anxiety began to unravel and her babbling began to sound. Mommy Amelia frowned and squinted her eyes at Raven.

Not long phone calls ring on Kirana's cell phone. A little difficult, Kirana pulled the phone out of her skirt pocket. His face sparkles when he sees a foreign number with a country code (1) on his phone.

“Halo,” say with sumringah.

“Hai Honey,” the voice she missed was instantly heard. “You're the same mommy ?”

“Where to, Bee ? Yes, I'm the same mommy eating at the hospital cafe.”

“Against your heart,” dreadful Sebastian makes Kirana blush in shame. Mommy Amelia who saw Kirana blushed was just a smile.

The conversation is interrupted when Raven tries to pick up Kirana's phone while calling her mama. Mommy Amelia frowned when she heard Raven calling Kirana.

“Who is it, Kiran ?” Sebastian frowned there, trying to listen to the voice of the little boy that was clearly heard on his phone.

“Raven, Bee,”tie Kirana honestly.

Not because there was a mommy Amelia in front of him, but since the photo happened, they agreed to open with each other.

“Not mommy again to the hospital ? You met that kid in the hospital again ? Meet with Steven again ?”

Sebastian's question made Kirana smile. His heart longed for Sebastian's constant worry when there was either Shera or Steven among them.

“Bee, I miss,” Kirana.

Sebastian stopped his chatter and smiled to himself. His position was outside the restaurant where he met with daddy Richard.

“Not because of meeting Steven you just remembered me, right ?” Sebastian deliberately made his voice heavy and firm.

“Bee...” Kirana sulks. “You want me to miss Steven ? Is he my future husband ? Why did you never reply to me or call me ? Have you met the beautiful bule ?”

Kirana who forgot that she was in front of her in-laws continued to babble. Raven on her lap looked at her confusedly and mommy Amelia grinned at the face of her future daughter-in-law pouting. It seems that Kirana's boyish side is still quite big, but she believes that's what makes Sebastian happy.

“Awas if dare same Steven !” Strict Sebastian.

“If my message is not reciprocated I want to cheat only ” oceh Kirana.

“You sure you want to love mommy's son?” Mommy Amelia chuckled at Kirana's words.

Kirana blushed when she realized that she was sitting together with her future father-in-law.

“Tuh hear the word mommy, can not be as concerned as his favorite child,” Sebastian chuckled when he heard his mommy speech.

“Honey, sorry I can't stay long. I have to go back to the meeting with daddy. I miss you too. If there's anything in the meantime you talk to mommy first huh. And I'm sorry if I texted you for so long or called you. I love you my Kirana.”

“I love you too, Bee.”

Kirana smiled faintly. Some of his longing was treated by hearing Sebastian's voice.

“Don't worry about Bastian, Ki. Mommy's child is the type of loyal man, until because it is too loyal can be fooled by Shera. In addition, Daddy will definitely take care of it for you,”, said Amelia when Kirana had closed her conversation with Sebastian.

Kirana smiled as she looked at Amelia's mommy who was also smiling at her. His heart calmed down a little, forgetting that Raven was still looking at him with a confused face.
