Alena took in her heavy breath. Although pain and tightness gnawed at his lungs he still had to say the results of his musings for the past two days. His head was raised towards the figure of the man sitting across, looking at him with his eyes soft.

“Maaf” word strand starts to unravel from his mouth. Alena returned to wet her lips that felt so dry. He was really nervous and his heart felt heavy.

“I know it's a tough decision. But I am sure this is the best for us” he explained in a soft and deep voice.

Malvin lifted his head to look at the woman who now looked so restless. No one would be able to guess what he felt like now. Because in fact, he feels now is the end of his love story with Alena. The woman who had filled her life for the last few months.

“Can you think about it again? please” pinta Malvin in earnest tone. His hand slightly squeezed the hand Alena held.

“My decision is final” muttered Alena while pulling her hand. With teary eyes he looked at the man before him.

“Our relationship ends here.”

Malvin feels his world crumble once a death sentence is thrown out of Alena's mouth. Even in a dream he never thought that his relationship would end like this. There were already too many future plans he had designed for Alena. Why did God so kindly give him this kind of trial? His relationship with Alena should end this very second.

“Why? is it because your family doesn't approve of our relationship?” ask Malvin. This is the ironic side of his love story with Alena. Classic stories like Romeo and Juliet, where love is hindered by the blessing of parents.

Alena sighed softly. “I don't want to lose you either, really. I love you so much. But my family never approved of our relationship.”

Malvin stared at his ex-girlfriend's heart “Then, what then will you obey their wishes? Married a man you don't love?”

“Should you do it?”

“For My Father. He's very sick. He wants me to marry that man.”

“What then will you be happy? You can't sacrifice your happiness for your father's sake.” said Malvin trying to influence Alena's decision

.

“Of course I can. I don't care if I can or not, but I'll never let my parents down. They've given me so much happiness for twenty-three years of my life. And what have I given to return the favor to them.” Reply Alena with a choked voice.

“I can only do this. For my father and his happiness, I will do even if it should sacrifice my happiness.” the breakup is round.

Malvin knows that. How she understood that Alena loved her family more than anything. Alena is very different from him. He had even broken his father's order forbidding him from being in contact with Alena. He is willing to be fired from the family list as long as he can continue with Alena. Who would have thought the end result he got was this. Alena left him. He took a heavy breath.

“Good. May you be happy Alena.”

Malvin's up. Without even saying anything else he walked away leaving the girl who was now crying alone in the corner of the cafe where they met.

I won't regret it. This is my decision. Inner Alena.
