I HATE YOU, BUT

I HATE YOU, BUT
#73

Davian had not blinked his eyes, gawked and I started to get anxious. Did I say the wrong thing? It's normal for a victim like me to be mad at the perpetrator who tried to kill me. Maybe I should have been angry and hated Jeane.

I can't believe Davian hugged me tightly. Many times I felt him sigh in relief.

“My Alena is indeed a noble hearted girl, thank God.” He kissed me on the cheek and then went back to his knees,

“I thought you'd hate him, or tell me to imprison Jeane for life. I'm so glad you want to forgive him.”

Davian told me a story that surprised me. About what really happened to Jeane and what was more disturbing was the fact that Jeane had Schizophrenia. I can't believe Jeane looks normal. She's graceful, beautiful, and smart.

“At the approval of her father, Jeane was sent to a rehabilitation home abroad. He will undergo therapy there for one year.”

I shut my mouth, still can't believe it, “How's his current condition?”

“He keeps feeling scared and paranoid every time he meets people. The doctor who handled it in France was brought here to treat Jeane.”

“Jeane poor,” I'm sorry. After hearing the whole story about the girl, I couldn't get angry anymore. I was just wondering what made Jeane suffer from such a terrible disease. I looked at my husband sadly.

“You don't have to worry about it because Jeane has been handled by the right person.” Davian pinched my cheek angrily. He got up, walked behind me ready to push my wheelchair.

“Now let's go back. Mom must be looking for us.”

ALENA POV END'S

***

Alena underwent therapy the following days to make sure her hands could function normally as they were. Although things were much better, Davian had not allowed him to go home.

“I miss home.”

“No, you still have to be treated.”

“But I'm bored here.”

“Isn't there me?”

“Jeez, is this how you welcomed me? By quarreling and not caring at all who came to visit.”

“Malvin!” Alena blinked happily seeing her sister after almost a week of not showing up. Actually ever since he just woke up this time he saw Malvin coming to see him.

“No need to stand, let me come.” Malvin prevents Alena from getting out of bed. He approached and hugged Alena like a sister who missed her sister.

“Hei,” Davian smothering dislikes. He knew they were brothers. But he still did not like to see the two embrace each other like a couple who had not met for a long time.

“It's good to see you back healthy,” whispered Malvin then took off his embrace. He looked at Alena carefully and smiled with satisfaction at her situation which was much better than his shadow.

“Where to? I almost cried because I thought my own sister forgot her sister who was hospitalized.” complained Alena. Malvin laughs.

“I'm busy taking care of the company, of course. In addition I also have to go back and forth to the police station to solve your case.”

“Sunhguh?” Alena widens her eyes. He turned to Davian for a moment before asking again,

“How is it going?”

Malvin was silent for a moment, making Alena uncomfortable in her place from anxiety, but a moment later she smiled soothingly,

“After both sides agreed to close the case, Jeane had to undergo the therapy. You take it easy, his condition has improved even though sometimes he has attacks. You don't have to worry about it. You better worry about your own condition. Hmm, how's your hand?”

“It can be moved even though it is still a little stiff,” Alena tried to move her bandaged hand but had to grimace because of stiff nerves and pain.

“Sgratitude.” Malvin scrambled his bangs.

“And how's my niece doing in there? I think he can't wait to see this world.”

A beautiful smile instantly flashed across Alena's face. He and Davian smiled widely and looked at Alena's big belly happily.

“He is growing healthy. I'm sure the most impatient one here is you,”

“Yes, of course.” said Davian then the three of them laughed.
