Davian glanced at Alena at a glance to see the girl's reaction. Apparently the same, Alena was surprised. Similar to his reaction.

“We, we are still thinking about it,” Alena replied first before Davian opened his mouth.

Even before Davian got such a question, Alena knew the burden of her husband's mind was already too much. There is no need to add questions that cannot be answered like that. A granddaughter? Alena felt so sad and guilty that at any moment, she would never be able to realize her father's expectations. Davian never wanted to make her a mother to his children.

“Not need to think about Dad's words. I'll be as slow as possible to give him understanding.” Entertain Alena as they return home after the hospital.

Davian did not answer. He simply took off the suit and loosened the knot of his tie. He feels stuffy. All the problems that arise in his life make his head almost explode.

“Stop being sweet to me,” said Davian coldly. He turned to look at Alena who gasped in surprise. The girl was stuck in her place. He was no longer surprised to hear Davian's cold words. Merely, the look in the man's eyes this time was like a knife piercing his heart. Makes it look like it fell. He was sick, seeing Davian's expression suffering like this. Why, why did Davian have to be this sad while living with him?

“What did you think when you first heard about being betrothed to me? You happy? You scared? Or are you frustrated?” Davian asked the question with a cold face. Alena felt her tongue. He wanted to cry but could not.

“Nothing..” his voice began to vibrate.

“Why do you stay married to me even though I know I love another girl?” Davian slowly walked up to her, Alena felt her legs unable to move. He just stayed in place without being able to move.

“Then what do you want?!!” Alena shouted back. She can no longer force herself.every woman has patience on different levels. Alena is known as a patient girl but if Davian continues to treat her like this, she can't just be quiet.

“I did all this because of Dad!! I married you because I love both my parents so much and this is proof of my devotion to them for life! Therefore you do not need to feel burdened with this marriage because we never love each other!!” After saying so, Alena turned her back and ran to her room. He cried all night.

This time Davian was surprised. The first time, she saw Alena crying. He should not feel regret, but why does his heart seem to shift. What's the matter? What feelings are now covering his heart?

Alena actually didn't want to leave after the fight with Davian last night. But this afternoon he was forced to deliver supplies because his Mother-in-law again questioned it. Alena wants to refuse, however, she does not know what kind of expression to put on when dealing with Davian later. Thankfully Davian was not there when he came there. His secretary Janette said Davian was attending the meeting so he just put lunch on his desk and decided to go home instead of waiting for the man to come back.

“Hallo?”

“Alena?” the girl widened her eyes as this was the first time she had heard back Malvin's voice after almost a few months of not hearing it.

“Malvin? How's it going? Have you returned from Japan?” Alena tried to make her tone sound cheerful because she also heard Malvin's cheerful voice at the other end.
