Malvin felt he was not needed in the exciting discussion of the four people. He then broke away and went straight to the balcony to breathe fresh air. Suddenly his lungs were very difficult to pump air. Upon arriving at the quiet balcony of the party crowd, Malvin took a deep breath and exhaled. He stared at the cloudless sky.
Why does it feel like no one's destiny is on her side? Too many problems come until he is not sure he is still able to stand. Malvin felt like he wanted to plunge into the ice lake until his entire body froze. That way he doesn't have to feel pain anymore.
“I know how hurt the hurt heart,” Malvin turned to hear a voice from the side. An unknown girl suddenly stood there. The girl turned her head towards Malvin and she realized their expressions were similar. This girl just broke her heart.
“Braying it hurts isn't it?” he added because Malvin did not come back. Finally, after a long silence Malvin replied.
“It would hurt if you didn't try to let it go,” he turned his head to the sky. Hoping to find a shooting star so he could make one wish. He hopes to let Alena be happy with Davian.
“Then, have you tried to be willing? Is your heart ready too?”
Malvin felt that there was something strange about the way this girl spoke. He looked suspiciously at the girl beside him. The girl was too talkative for the person who had just met.
“Who are you?”
“Ah, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Jeane,”
“Malvin,” Malvin shook Jeane's hand because he felt there was nothing wrong with just getting acquainted. But still he felt suspicious about Jeane's behavior.
“You know, I was the woman Davian dumped because she preferred to marry Alena over me just because her father hated me,” Jeane's story without a doubt, made Malvin come back shocked. Just hearing the name Davian and ‘dicumahan’ enough to make him understand the purpose of this woman invited him to speak earlier.
“You,”
“So what's your purpose in talking to me?”
Jeane was intrigued by Malvin because he responded quickly to the intent behind their conversation. Alena turned out to be stupid to dump a man like her. Physically, Malvin is no less handsome than Davian. What makes Alena prefer Davian to this guy?
“I want to invite me to work together, how. If we make it you can get Alena while I get Davian.” Jeane made her offer. Malvin flinched and he was lulled by Jeane's offer. She wanted Alena back to her. It was in her mind Alena's happy face and her words that the girl loved Davian.
Malvin wants Alena with him. But he did not want to make the girl sad if parted with Davian. Malvin quickly dismissed that thought. It cannot be selfish.
“Thank you for your offer but I'm not interested in it one bit. I prefer myself to suffer than Alena who suffers.” Malvin turned his body around, leaving Jeane shocked. Before he actually left, Malvin turned his head back to Jeane.
“If you really love Davian, you won't ruin his happiness.”
“What,” Jeane tried to prevent Malvin from leaving but it was too late. Now, he was standing alone on the balcony with a thundered chest. Even the man was reluctant to help her get Davian? What happened to everyone? Why does everything seem to be on Alena's side? Why is no one taking her side??
There's no other way. The only way is to teach Alena a lesson!!
