I HATE YOU, BUT

I HATE YOU, BUT
#69

Davian made a fuss as soon as he arrived at the hospital. He shouted blindly, asking all the doctors and nurses there to help his wife.

Alena was immediately taken to the IGD room and the operation was carried out. Their parents arrived while the operation was still ongoing. Alena's mother cried hysterically and had fainted several times when she saw the condition of Davian's clothes full of blood because she could not imagine how her daughter was in there. Malvin appeared a few moments later. He helped the sister calm Mom.

Please, hold on, baby. I still need you here. You have to stay alive, don't go and take our son with you.

Davian continued to pray. He sat in the corner of the chair alone, he did not even remember to change his clothes or just wash his hands that were still stained with blood. He only thinks about the safety of his wife and the baby he contains. As a husband, he felt useless. He regretted why he did not act so deftly. He should have responded to his premonition sooner. She should have told Alena to stay with her mother while she worked. Ah, no, from the start it was all his fault for not looking after Alena.

Davian who still had a bad view when Alena was lying on the floor. He was traumatized, and felt both horrified and terrified whenever the dark shadow flashed through his mind. He immediately shook his head before he cried out hysterically and lost his mind.

No one dared to make a sound as long as the doctor had not come out of the operating room and gave them the good news. Awkwardness hangs in the air.Anxiety that makes the throat feel choked. Davian's mother couldn't even hold back her grief anymore. He began to sob, remembering the condition of his daughter-in-law who was pregnant.

Davian had already glanced at his watch ten times agitatedly. He even turned off his phone which kept ringing because Davian never returned to the office. He'll never move on until he makes sure Alena's okay. His feelings were chaotic, and he forgot when was the last time he felt this kind of agonizing unease.

Finally the operating room lights went off, everyone jumped out of their seats and approached as soon as the door opened. The doctor and some of his assistants who came out were greeted by the curious and anxious faces of his patient's family.

“How is my wife?”

“Is my daughter-in-law okay?”

“The injury is not severe is not?”

The doctor only sighed then opened his mask in response to the question that had invaded at the same time. He asked them to stop. His residence made Davian and the others speechless with feelings of anxiety. Then the doctor smiled.

Instantly after the doctor finished with his explanation, the air became lighter as everyone let out a sigh of relief. Davian really wanted to cry and hug his wife but what happened was that his whole body was squeezing and he leaned his body against the wall so as not to fall.

Alena, thank God you're okay.I don't know what's going to happen to me if the doctor comes out with bad news.

A tear fell on the corner of Davian's eye, a tear full of gratitude.

After undergoing surgery, Alena was transferred to a regular ward. Even though the doctor had said his condition was fine, Davian still felt anxious. He continues to be confined in worries that make it difficult to close his eyes, not tasteful to eat, and not passionate about living his life.

The pale face of Alena who was still asleep like a princess became the main cause of cloudy in Davian's face. He had asked the doctor several times when his wife was awake but the doctor still gave the same answer.

“Honey,” Davian looks at his wife. Touching Alena's cheek with her fingertips, so carefully as if it was a fragile object that easily cracked. It never moved out of its place. Keep monitoring Alena's state hoping for a miracle. Alena woke up and lost all her anxiety.

“Come to realize, I miss you so much.” realized the sound coming out of his throat was so hoarse, Davian struggled to hold on so as not to cry. He was not strong, he could not bear to see Alena like this. He blames himself for what happened to Alena. If he did not leave Alena alone at home, this calamity would not have happened. It was all his fault.
