All over Malvin's body shook. Alena closed her mouth in disbelief, today she saw with her own eyes how Malvin's mother actually looked. So like this, the line of his face, the look in his eyes, until the way he smiled in the photo was really a reflection of Malvin.
“How can he be in love with my father? Exactly, when? If they were in a relationship when Dad was married to Mom, that means they were having an affair?” alena asked impatiently.
His heart rumbled violently if he remembered that his own father had done such a cruel act to his mother. He does not want to believe if Mr Radhian said ‘iya’ because it means, all this time he has glorified a man who betrayed his own wife?
Mr. Radhian looked at Alena with unstable emotions as he was about to tell the story he had kept for many years.
“Sarah and your father started a relationship when they were in college,”.
“They love each other and can no longer be separated. Your father promised our family we'd marry Sarah once he won the tender for the company he started. I obviously can't resist not being able to see Sarah sad so we let them be in a relationship.”
Malvin and Alena listened to the story with mixed feelings. Every now and then they looked at each other to know each other's expressions.
“But the man, your father.!!” suddenly Mr. Radhian growled while staring at Alena.
“He betrayed Sarah. He who had promised to marry Sarah married another woman and destroyed their long-standing relationship. A shocked Sarah shut herself away for days. On the day of your mother's father's wedding, Sarah sobbed while looking at a picture of your father. She didn't even say she was pregnant. Two months after your father's wedding, we were shocked to learn that our pregnant Sarah was in a very weak condition. I don't need to force her to tell who made her pregnant because I know your father was the culprit!” Mr. Radhian pointed at Alena with a sharp look.
“Daddy, already.” Madam Radhian tried to calm her husband.
Alena can't hold her dam of tears anymore. He falls on the floor when he learns the bitter story behind the reality of himself and the Malvin brothers. His heart is so sore. He patted his own chest hoping the pain could disappear but his efforts were useless. Malvin was silent in his place. His eyes glare blankly. So, my real father dumped my real mother? Inner hurts.
"Malvin was born a few months later. Sarah's condition had improved. While fondling her baby Sarah always muttered that one day maybe your father will divorce your mother and go marry her but the moon changes, she said, Your father did not come and the fact that makes Sarah's psychiatric condition decreases dramatically. Especially when she learns that your father will have a child from your mother, you!!” the longer Mr. Radhian's tone gets higher.
In the end, it sounds like blaming Alena. Yes, according to him Alena is the biggest mistake that caused Sarah to fall. If Alena wasn't there, maybe Sarah could still survive.
“Then, what happened?” malvin said in a soft voice. He did not sob, but from both corners of his eyes flowed a clear melt.
“One morning in the spring, we found Sarah dead from sedative intoxication she often consumed. The autopsy results said that Sarah did not die accidentally, but she did deliberately consume sedatives in large quantities. It's all because of your father's depraved work! He was truly an irresponsible jerk, only daring to spread false promises and ultimately breaking our fragile Sarah's heart. That was the basis that made him choose to end life.” Mr. Radhian fell on the sofa with tears on his cheek.
“I'm so sorry for not being able to give him a boost and letting him slump by himself.” Mr. Radhian still feels Sarah's death was his fault as well.
“Sarah, she is my only sister.” she is heavy.
Malvin looked at Mr. Radhian with a pushy gaze, the same as Alena's reaction. His mouth trembled, so, in fact he had a blood relationship with Mr. Radhian. He, he's not really alone in this world.
