I HATE YOU, BUT

I HATE YOU, BUT
#22

“I'm not angry or blaming you. Why should I do it?” Davian sighed heavily, though,

"I'm afraid you're blaming me for your father's death. Because it takes care of me, you can't see it for the last time.”

Alena widened her eyes, amazed at Davian's words. So this was the reason why the man had been staring at her with an anxious and regretful face? He must explain to Davian that all this happened by fate, not anyone's fault and even though he never blamed Davian for his father's death.

“Never for a second did I think it was your fault. Really am. I chose to take care of you at that time. I don't feel burdened by that decision because I already know what the risks are. No need to worry about me.”

Davian felt something in his heart shift. I don't know why today he felt Alena looked so different. Suddenly he felt he had found the woman of his dreams in Alena. Something he once dreamed of but never found in any woman, including Jeane. But, what is that something? Suddenly, something that Dion had once said echoed in his ears.

The human heart is the most complex component that God makes. You can't even guess whose name is actually engraved in your heart. Without you knowing it, it's possible that in your heart Jeane's name is slowly being erased and replaced by Alena's.

He blinked. Oh my God, don't tell me he just realized that.... that he's in love with Alena?

Malvin smiled, for the first time since setting foot in this country. Since returning, he is determined to forget his love story with Alena. To him, Alena was just the past. At least that's what he believed during his several months in Japan. He continues to hypnotize himself that there are still many in this world girls who are better everything than Alena. Even then he realized, no girl has a patient heart Alena, a smile as gentle as Alena, and the attitude as good as Alena.

“Stop feeling sorry for yourself, Malvin!” Right, not nothing. He just hasn't found it yet.

“What? Tell me the obvious. Where's the restaurant?” alena asked a bit loudly because her conversation with Davian was interrupted due to a bad cell phone signal. Davian asks her to deliver the important files left behind to a restaurant.

“Etoiles. You know French restaurant?”

“Ah, restaurant at the end of that street?” He immediately put his phone back in his pocket and clucked.

“I'm also busy Mr Fernandez, but why do you like to bother me so much now?” despite complaining, Alena found her lips smiling sweetly. Now they are both busy. The good news is that their relationship is better than ever.

Until now, Alena still hopes Davian will express how he really feels about her. Is it love, or is it just a sense of redemption from his guilt? Alena developed her best smile then started to step towards the restaurant which was only about a block away. But, when walking a few steps, that beautiful smile slowly faded along with her carefree steps that came to a halt. His body froze and his eyes were fixated on seeing the figure standing in front of him.

“Malvin.” whispered in disbelief. Unknowingly, the file he was holding fell onto the sidewalk of the road.

Who would have thought that after a few months of not seeing his face, there would also be a day where the figure of the past reappeared. Malvin was silent with similar mimicry to Alena. Surprised and in disbelief.
