I HATE YOU, BUT

I HATE YOU, BUT
#68

Davian felt a strange bad feeling. This was unnatural and his mind was immediately fixed on Alena. His wife was at home, pregnant and with her ex-boyfriend. There was no reason for Davian to remain seated quietly in his office. Now he is on his way back home.

When he arrived in front of his apartment building, he passed Malvin who walked quickly with wide steps. His face looked tense.

“What's up?” Davian. Malvin turned his head and let out a sigh of relief to see Davian there.

“Jeane, something's not right about him. I have to make sure Alena is okay.” Hearing Malvin's statement, Davian grew increasingly alarmed,

“What do you mean?”

“We'd better check on your wife first.”

Davian precedes Malvin to press the elevator button and wait impatiently for the elevator door to open. Malvin's words continued to haunt him, making his entire body unsettled, agitated, and panicked. Alena, I hope you're okay, Davian prayed. As soon as the elevator door opened, he immediately entered, followed by Malvin. Davian even pressed the floor of his apartment many times out of anxiety and impatience.

“Why the elevator moves so slow!” grumbling Davian, his legs moved uneasily while Malvin frowned. The contents of her head were filled with memory pieces of her meeting with Jeane last night. The way the girl spoke sounded so frustrating and on the other hand was impressed as if asking for help. Jeane asked someone to stop her from doing something. Ah, all these question marks are gonna drive him crazy.

As soon as the elevator clinks, Davian quickly lifts his feet out and runs towards his apartment. Her mouth continued muttering hoping that when she opened the door, she found Alena was fine. He opened the door and rushed in.

“Honey..” Davian's entire sentence was sucked vacum cleaner when he saw the scene in front of him at this time.

It was like a knife cut through the veins in his neck and he could not breathe, as well as feeling sick looking at his wife lying on the floor, drenched in blood coming from the wound on his arm. He stumbled and his world stopped.

“ALENA!!” Davian was hysterically screaming. He splashed to his wife's side, immediately embracing Alena's frail body into his embrace,

Malvin froze in place. As if an earthquake had shaken his seat, he clung to a nearby wall. He regretted, after seeing all this he regretted why he did not realize Jeane's words sooner.

Jeanne? Malvin immediately turned his gaze to another figure who had been neglected since.

Jeane was still sitting in her place, regretting for letting herself get out of control. His entire body trembled, he was not even able to hold back his own tears.

Realizing Malvin was staring at him, his head was raised slowly and when their gaze met, he found Malvin looking at him pityfully, concerned, and full of regret. That expression made her even more sick. Everything was like a hammer that made him realize that he was indeed a murderer. He's guilty of all this.

“I.. I do it. I.. I..” Jeane was crying. He looked at his own hand that was still covered with Alena's blood.

“I killed him..I ALREADY KILLED HIM!!!!” Jeane yelling. She pulled her own hair like crazy. He was so scared, his body shivering with cold even though the sweat kept flooding his temple.

“No.”

Suddenly Malvin said. Jeane stopped hysterically and looked at the man. His sight was still blurred, he could not see Malvin clearly.

“You're not a killer. You never meant to kill him.” The sentence sounded so straightforward in Jeane's ears, it made her feel so relieved yet sad at the same time. In that instant, Jeane wept wailing at her own actions.
