Malvin closed his eyes for a moment, feeling responsible for this incident. If only he had realised sooner, he might have been able to prevent Jeane from doing so after he saw the girl crying in frustration the other day.
“Then what should we do?” swishing Davian.
“Do we keep demanding it?”
Malvin patted Davian on the shoulder, “If you feel any objection because he stabbed Alena, you can sue him. But I advise you not to take this to court. I didn't mean to defend Jeane. But he needs more therapy than prison.”
Malvin immediately continued as Davian widened his eyes at her, “After all isn't Alena okay?”
Davian opened his mouth wanting to let out his anger that Jeane was more than worthy of imprisonment. But not a single word managed to come out because his common sense agreed with Malvin's opinion. Finally he just groaned and punched the wall beside him.
Jeane was guilty, of course he had to make calculations with the girl. But Davian felt a wedge in his heart that made him reject the idea. Jeane did it because her soul was disturbed.
Should he follow Malvin's advice? That guy was right anyway. Most importantly Alena is fine now. He must prioritize Alena's safety.
Remembering Alena, immediately the emotions disappeared in Davian's heart. He breathed hard and then nodded.
“If it is indeed the best, I follow your suggestion.”
Malvin nodded then spoke to the police and the psychiatrist. Then go to take care of it.
“I was expecting this to happen!” his father said it was cold. Davian raised his face, shocked at the sudden remark of the middle-aged man,
“that's why I told you to stay away from him! She is nothing more than a crazy psychopath pretending to be a normal girl!”
“What do you mean, Father?” Davian widened his eyes in shock.
Her father's jaw was hardened, “This is the reason why I told you not to have a relationship with the girl. His mental breakdown was due to trauma in his childhood. He often loses himself if he is already too angry or sad. You never asked me why Jeane never told me about her mother?”
Davian then shook his head, as he remembered Jeane had never told anything about his mother. Even Davian had never heard Jeane tell him about her family. But the next second he blinked, he was dumbfounded to look at his father,
“He who killed his own mother.” Davian's face paled.
“At that time he swore he did not know and only remembered that he was hypnotized by terrible sounds that continued to be heard before he lost himself and took his own mother's life.”
Davian widened his eyes with his mouth tightly clenched. Never did she think that Jeane who looked so normal, beautiful and smart had such a dark side. He remembered the story of Sena—Wife Dion—about Jeane.
The girl suddenly turns good after being caught in a mysterious case and disappears. Could it be that Jeane was recovering at the hands of a psychiatrist? Now that story makes sense. God, he even ignored that at all. He fell down in the long chair.
“How did Dad know all this?” he looked at his father in despair.
“And why didn't Dad tell me so honestly? If I had known from the beginning, something like this wouldn't have happened. Oh God..” Davian squeezed his hair.
All of this makes it go away. Davian got up and looked inward, where his wife was lying with a set of medical devices stuck in her body. His heart feels tight.
Alena, if you're with me you'll give me advice that won't confuse me. You gotta get up, baby.

One small gesture kept Davian awake that morning. His hand held his wife's hand overnight and when he felt it move, he woke up.
“Honey..” his sigh expectantly while staring fixedly at the pale face of Alena. A feeling of excitement immediately burst into his mind as the eyelid slowly opened and displayed the pair of black irises he had missed.
How happy Davian was. Lost her sleepiness due to the feeling of relief that surrounded her heart realizing Alena was fine.
