I HATE YOU, BUT

I HATE YOU, BUT

Malvin was thinking about the problem between himself and Alena. He planned to confirm it to his parents when they came to see him later but his daydream was scrapped when he heard Yuka's voice.

“Malvin, no guests.”

His head was raised towards the door. Yuka let someone in. Malvin opened his eyes when a girl came in and smiled at him. His forehead wrinkled. He wondered why the girl he had met at the party back then could be here.

“Jeane,” said in a reassuring tone. Jeane waved with a cheerful face.

“So she's your lover yes, very beautiful.” Yuka said with a strange-looking smile. Malvin was surprised to hear that. But somehow he did not mind Yuka's assumption. Maybe that way Yuka will stop bothering him.

“Yes, she's my lover.” Sluggishly. Yuka stopped smiling.

“So yes. Then I won't bother you guys,” he lowered his head at a glance then left with a face implying a wound. Actually Malvin feels guilty for making Yuka face like that. He brushed aside his guilt by looking at Jeane.

“The girl seemed to like you,” Jeane said as she walked up to her. He pulled up a chair and sat down beside Malvin's bed.

“He's just the doctor who took care of me,” tepis Malvin.

“What do you need to come here?”

Jeane took out a box of chocolate from her bag and handed it to Malvin

“Actually, you don't have to bother to cuddle me up and bring me.chocolate.” Malvin was a bit hesitant to see the chocolate in his hand. He is still suspicious of Jeane who offers him to work together to separate Davian and Alena. For her, now separating Alena was not the crux of the matter in her life anymore. There's no point in him doing that because he and Alena are brothers. At any moment he will never be able to unite with Alena. They were hindered by a blood relation that was even thicker than water. Stronger than any rope knot.

“I know it might sound strange. But I seem to be interested in you,”, Jeane said. Malvin was not surprised to hear that. A lot of women have said the same thing that Jeane said just now.

“Yeah, looks like that's why you came here.” Jeane laughing.

Maybe it will look sweet in the eyes of other men but for Malvin, Alena's smile is still the most beautiful. But it seems that Malvin does not know that Jeane is very smart to make men fascinated by him. Like this moment, Malvin unconsciously smiled. I don't know how long he's heard Jeane's story about himself, his family, and his love story with Davian.

“So, you haven't met your mother until this second?” ask Malvin. Jeane is now sitting on the edge of her bed peeling an apple for Malvin.

“Daddy hasn't talked about mom since they divorced when I was a kid. I didn't know my mom was alive or not.”

“Didn't you miss him?” Jeane turned to look at Malvin, his face dimming.

“Sometimes. But I never lacked the affection of my father. That's why I never thought of looking for my mom.”

Malvin was silent looking at his hand holding a piece of apple, he suddenly hesitated whether to ask about the problem or not. He was curious. But he was afraid that it would make the family that raised him hurt. As long as he was a child until now he never lacked the slightest love. They raised him with great affection. Does it seem insolent if he incised wounds on parents who have raised him as well as them?
