Eps. 119 — Palace Attack

With his blue flame technique, Jiang Qisha gave a fire site attack to one of the opponents who was within his range.

The assailant was only being upgraded to a silver realm swordsman, the attack of Jiang Qisha's fire tread immediately made him bounce and no longer live.

Jiang Qisha did not stop there, he directly attacked the other invading forces. Jiang Qisha fired fire shots at them.

Not only Jiang Qisha, the other invited guests as well as the palace soldiers immediately joined the fight against the assailants.

Even though Jiang Qisha's party was smaller than the ones who attacked but the invited guests and soldiers were not random people, almost all of them were strong warriors especially Xiao Fan, Yue Jian, and others, as well as Chu Guyu.

In just a short while, Jiang Qisha's side instantly dominated the fight, the enemy troops whose average strength was the swordsman of the golden realm and the silver realm could not fight against Jiang Qisha and the others despite their numbers being more numerous.

One of Jiang Qisha's assistants suddenly approached and whispered to him, the assistant said that the attack was not just at one point but 4 different points.

The imperial palace was built in the middle of the city and had four gates to enter the palace, the gates were north, south, east, and west gates.

The gate that Jiang Qisha and the other guests were facing right now was the north gate, if this attack was located on the other 3 gates then the situation of the imperial palace was in danger.

"What did you say?!" Jiang Qisha's face became bad at hearing the information. "Ring the emergency bell, deploy all the Jiang Family troops we have and command them to fight these assailants!" Jiang Qisha's orders to his assistant.

The Jiang family was the strongest noble family in the Moon Empire that exceeded a big sect like the Green Bamboo or Xiao clan. Other than himself, there were 3 light warriors that belonged to the Jiang Family, dozens of Crystal Realm warriors as well as dozens of Gold Realm warriors.

The assistant nodded, without waiting for long he immediately went to execute Jiang Qisha's orders.

Jiang Qisha then turned his head towards Xiao Fan, "Brother Xiao, can you go towards the south gate, your strength will be needed there."

Xiao Fan had heard the information from the assistant before, he nodded then went south.

"Brother Yue, can you too-..."

"I understand Your Majesty, let me take care of the East gate!" Yue Jian then left immediately after saying so.

Jiang Qisha's gaze fell towards Chu Guyu, before he spoke the girl had already gone to the west along with her two subordinates. Chu Guyu understood, they must secure the palace gates first.

If the palace gate has been successfully broken into then these attackers will easily enter and control the palace. With 4 heroes intervening at the entrance gate, they could at least hinder the movement of the incoming enemy troops.

Jiang Qisha looked at Chu Guyu until the woman disappeared in his sight, Jiang Qisha then turned his head towards the gate that the enemy troops were still coming.

Jiang Qisha clenched his teeth, it was still hard to believe that there was a group of people who dared to attack his palace openly like this and during the day.

Jiang Qisha thought who would dare to act like this because according to him, such actions could only be done by a handful of groups.

"For a long time no see Qisha, or should I call His Majesty..." The man laughed mockingly.

Jiang Qisha was surprised by the arrival of that person, even though a hundred years had passed but he could not possibly forget his face.

"Zengxa, so all this is your organization?!" Jiang Qisha stared intently at the old man in front of him, that person's age was almost the same age as him.

"Shocked? Of course, it is indeed who would dare to openly attack your palace like this." That guy smiled cynically.

The one who appeared in front of Jiang Qisha was Guo Zhengxa, a high-ranking swordsman who was the Moon Emperor's opponent. Guo Zhengxa was the leader of the Sky Cloud Temple Organization.

"You seem so confident that you can defeat the Jiang Family today. Just so you know the palace is currently having a big meeting, not only am I in the palace but 3 imperial heroes are here..."

Guo Zhengxa snorted, looking unconcerned. "Do you think I attacked here without a plan? I'll make sure not only the Jiang family is destroyed today, but the three heroes will be killed as well."

Jiang Qisha's expression became disheveled at Guo Zhengxa's confidence, he exerted a deep energy on his entire body as the blue flames appeared and enveloped his body, the temperature of the flames was now hotter than before.

"Aren't you overconfident?" Jiang Qisha narrowed his eyes.

I Zhengxa drained the inner energy on both of her palms and turned it into energy, before long the two Guo Zhengxa sites began to glow golden.

In contrast to Jiang Qisha who was famous for his blue fire techniques, Guo Zhengxa was known for its strong light elements.

Not waiting any longer for the two to move in unison and exchange attacks, Jiang Qisha unleashed a hot blue flame attack while Guo Zhengxa used his powerful light element.

Zhou Yuan understood the people in front of him were a trained intruder for successfully escaping the strict palace guard yet no one should have dared to deal with the Jiang Family let alone intend to kidnap his granddaughter.

The Jiang family was greatly feared by the criminal organization, many of them were reluctant to deal with the Imperial Family unless the group really wanted to be destroyed by the government.

Just as Zhou Yuan was still thinking everything was possible with the situation, the deafening sound of explosions suddenly sounded so loud.

The voice came from the north, Zhou Yuan was unsure but his premonition became bad to hear the explosion especially after seeing the black smoke billowing up into the sky.

"Ah, they've done it, then quickly grab the girl. We take it away before the others come." One of the seven intruders pointed at Jiang Yifei.

Jiang Yifei became frightened at this, the girl had only felt a dangerous situation like this in her life.

"No need to worry Princess, I will stand here and protect you..." Zhou Yuan smiled gently at the girl.

Jiang Yifei looked towards Zhou Yuan who currently still looked calm and instead smiled at him. The girl nodded, for some reason in this situation her heart was pounding faster when she saw the young man's smile.

"Young man, the situation makes me have to disturb your mood but now, quickly leave the girl to us." One of them came forward and pulled his weapon in the form of a sword.

Zhou Yuan did not reply, his hand holding the hilt of his sword even tighter.

The intruder snorted. "Then I have to kill you!"

The intruder instantly moved to attack Zhou Yuan while unsheathing his sword.

Zhou Yuan did not remain silent, he whipped out his sword then swung at the intruder quickly.

All of those events were so fast, before the other six intruders reacted further Zhou Yuan had already appeared behind them. Zhou Yuan exerted a deep force on his sword, with the same technique, he slashed their heads one by one.

Jiang Yifei's mouth opened, he saw neither Zhou Yuan's movements nor attacks. The girl only saw when Zhou Yuan had already killed his opponents.

Zhou Yuan did not care about the girl's reaction. "Mr Princess, we'd better get out of here. The palace's not safe we should..."

Not yet Zhou Yuan finished his sentence, dozens of other intruders came to Jiang Yifei's residence and surrounded the two of them.

The intruders saw seven of their dead comrades woefully before his gaze fell towards Zhou Yuan who was currently pulling out his sword with blood pouring down at the tip, the intruders immediately found out who killed their comrade and looked at Zhou Yuan hatefully.

Zhou Yuan clucked in annoyance, immediately approaching Jiang Yifei to protect the girl. Zhou Yuan cursed inwardly, not expecting there would be a situation like this in the Palace.
