Eps. 261 — Ling Family
Lin Ruyue finally let go of her embrace after a few minutes had passed, the woman seemed to stop at nothing to shed tears as it was happy that Zhou Yuan was still alive.
There was a lot Zhou Yuan wanted to tell his mother but at the moment the situation was not right, Zhou Yuan then turned to Ling Fuyan who was still kneeling on the ground.
Zhou Yuan created an ice sword in his hand, preparing to finish off Ling Fuyan.
Zhou Yuan still remembered the man earlier was about to attack his mother and sister without hesitation, if only a little late himself came perhaps his mother's fate would have been different today.
"Yuan'er, don't kill them!" Zhou Bing was aware of Zhou Yuan's intentions.
"They intend to hurt Mom and Dad before Grandpa, if not the bad guys then who else they are."
Zhou Bing was startled then hurriedly approached his grandson and explained the situation, if Zhou Yuan killed the Ling Family Elder today then the Zhou Family would be in deep trouble.
The Ling Family had many relations with many nobles, not only would his family be their enemies but the other Nobles Families would be hostile towards the Zhou Family as well
Previously Zhou Bing did not mind fighting against the Ling Family but the case was different after seeing Zhou Yuan return.
Zhou Bing as much as possible placed the Zhou Family in a safe position first.
Zhou Yuan actually did not care about the warning for being confident enough in his abilities but for the sake of appreciating his Grandfather, he canceled to kill Ling Fuyan.
"You're safe today, go before I change your mind and take your life..." Zhou Yuan gave a cold look at Ling Fuyan and her successful group making their bodies tremble violently.
Without waiting for a second, Ling Fuyan's group immediately rushed to withdraw.
Ling Fuyan who had already lost both hands had difficulty in stepping so she was helped by her group.

Compared to his father, Zhou Yuan was indeed closer to Zhou Bing.

They found a girl floating in the air and now heading here, they were surprised by two things, first because the girl was very beautiful and second because she could fly.
Zhou Yuan smiled, the flying girl is of course Yifei. The two had split up while here because suddenly Yifei had urgent needs.
"No way, how can that girl fly, is she an angel?!"
"It seems like I'm hallucinating, or is this all just a dream?!"
A person who sees Yifei flying and descending from the sky looks more like an angel who descends from the sky so this makes people misunderstand.
Zhou Bing was the most shocked among the others especially since he recognized the identity of the girl. Without waiting for long Zhou Bing immediately knelt down.
"Greetings to the Princess..." Zhou Bing immediately lowered his head, leaving the other Zhou Family confused over his actions.
Zhou Bing was actually more shocked to other things, he had already heard of Yifei's death with Zhou Yuan but he immediately understood if his grandson was alive then there was a possibility that Yifei was also still alive.
Seeing Zhou Bing kneeling down without causing the others to kneel down, they realized that whoever made Zhou Bing so respectful to him had an unusual status.
"Grandfather Zhou, you don't need to be that formal..." Yifei smiled wryly at the reaction of Zhou Bing and the others.
Zhou Bing had already been to the Imperial palace several times before so had met Jiang Yifei. As the Princess of the Moon Emperor of course Zhou Bing respected him a lot.
Zhou Yuan was surprised by his Grandfather's actions moreover his Father and Mother also directly knelt before Yifei.
Zhou Yuan almost patted his head for forgetting an important fact about Yifei. Zhou Yuan had just remembered that the girl he had been with him all this time was the Moon Emperor's Princess.
Perhaps because he was always together or maybe because of his relationship with Yifei made Zhou Yuan forget about the great status that his lover had.

Zhou Yuan smiled awkwardly. "Grandfather, actually Fei'er came here with me!"
"Huh?! What are you talking about, quickly kneel before the Princess!" Press Zhou Bing even harder than before.
Zhou Yuan and Yifei looked at each other for a moment before Zhou Yuan spoke up and began to explain everything.

"Your family must have been shocked to find out about our relationship, right?" Yifei stood beside Zhou Yuan, smiling sweetly. "I'm a little nervous about meeting your parents but it turns out they're good."
Both of them were currently on the veranda of the house that was in the Zhou Family Residence, the house was reserved for guests like Yifei.
Since Yifei was a princess, she was given the highest level of service in the Zhou Family, much higher than Zhou Yuan as the main member of this family.
"Of course they were surprised, but after I told them everything about you they could now understand it more..." Zhou Yuan stroked the girl's head slowly.
Zhou Yuan had indeed explained his relationship with Yifei to his family, he was actually more shocked because his parents were so respectful to the Jiang Imperial Family more than he expected.

"Eh, where are you going?" Yifei was startled when suddenly Zhou Yuan's body started to float in the air.
"I want to go to the Ling Family Residence tonight," Zhou Yuan smiled faintly. "I'll take care of them right now..."
