Eps. 289 — Power Sword Ingrid
Ingrid's sword shot out fast like a detached arrow towards the two nearby criminals, piercing their hearts into holes before swerving and flying towards the other criminal.
Ingrid's sword performed a simple puncture but because it was so sharp that it easily pierced through the body of its target.
No matter the criminal was using an inner power shield or protective armor, all was meaningless from the sharpness of Ingrid's sword.
Within seconds there were already dozens of criminals lying on the ground with their chests hollow. Ingrid's sword quickly finished off its target in a single strike.
Let alone wanting to put up a fight, the criminals did not even know what killed them when suddenly their gaze darkened and no longer breathed.
The thick fog that Zhou Yuan had released also helped the criminals' visibility get blocked, they could not see Ingrid's fast-moving sword unless they only heard the screams of their friends being killed one by one.
"This sword... I really underestimated it..."

"You don't let your guard down, look at the flying sword!?" Show one of them.
"No way, it must be a lie, it's an illusion!"
The existence of a flying sword did surprise many of the criminals around it, they could see how the sword was moving on its own without anyone controlling it.
They found it hard to believe it was even an illusion or a trick but in reality, the person who killed Ingrid's sword had actually died.
Chaos rang out in the middle ranks of the organization army, they were so panicked at the sight of a sword that could float by itself and kill those nearby.
They tried to stop the sword movement with the weapon but ended up getting killed.
Some of the criminals residing in the Golden Realm could hold back the Ingrid swords with their weapons but only a moment before their heirlooms were broken and the Ingrid Sword pierced through the hearts of its opponents.
This made the Criminal Realm Crystal intervene to deal with the savagery of the sword, even so they remained overwhelmed.
Those Crystal Realm criminals tried to attack behind Ingrid's sword, thinking there was someone behind him yet all they found was empty air.
This made them confused especially they were increasingly cornered when fighting the Sword of Ingrid continuously.
Those Crystal Realm criminals were of little help, they could only endure about a dozen moves before Ingrid's sword could finish them off easily.
Ingrid Sword was not only fast but he also had an incredible sharpness when swung let alone the heirloom of the Crystal Realm it was only a middle-class heirloom only, it was fine with the sharpness of the Ingrid sword.
It was then that the criminals were aware of the existence of Zhou Yuan who had previously slaughtered and frightened them, that the criminals were too focused on the action of Ingrid's sword.
"What are you noticing, I'm still here!" Zhou Yuan chuckled, snuffing out the two Silver Realm criminals nearby.

The seven Light Realm criminals were actually from the front row but when they heard the message there was an attack in their middle, the seven Light Realm Criminals immediately rushed here.
The Seven Criminals were shocked after seeing the massacre Zhou Yuan had committed, it was hard for them to assume the masked man was his enemy seeing the actions that had been committed.
In the criminal world, though, they rarely saw someone kill so many people at a time as Zhou Yuan did let alone the young man seem to not blink when killing whereas even for them when killing someone there was still a feeling of doubt to do.
"Strike him at the same time!"
The seven Light Realm criminals did not mince words and immediately moved in unison to attack Zhou Yuan while the nearby criminals chose to stay away from the fight as a chance to save themselves but they still did not feel safe during the Sword Ingrid hunted them one by one.
The powers of the seven Light Realm criminals were only at stage 2 of the open meridians while the most powerful among them were at the 4 open meridians.
Zhou Yuan swiftly resisted the attacks coming from various directions before putting up resistance, the two sides clashed but after a while not only the seven Light Realm criminals failed to surpass the fight but slowly they began to be urged by Zhou Yuan.
"His sword ability is so high and I see he still looks young, I can't believe it!"
"The speed of attack and the variation in his sword movements equaled that of Chairman Huang Zhang, I did not expect the government to have such a high-level swordsman."
The seven Light Realm criminals were discussing with each other and they were stunned by the ability Zhou Yuan showed when despite using the mask, they could see the young man's body.
Zhou Yuan shook his head slowly then changed his attack pattern using the Sound Sword Technique. If originally Zhou Yuan was slightly above them yet at the moment, there was a clear difference in strength between the two.
