Eps. 85 — About Engagement
"Xia'er, why are you so slow to come. Grandpa's been waiting for this." Yue Jian directly reprimanded Linxia when he had just arrived.
"I'm practicing Grandpa, where can I-..." Linxia's words came to a halt as his gaze fell toward Zhou Yuan. "You, why are you here?"
Zhou Yuan smiled awkwardly. "It's good to see you again Miss Yue. This place is my inn while in the sect..."
"Hm, you guys know each other?" Yue Jian glanced at Zhou Yuan and Linxia alternately.

"Because you already know each other so Grandpa doesn't need to introduce you anymore right?" Yue Jian then got up from his seat. "Xiaxia, take Yuan'er to go to the waterfall that maybe he will like, Grandpa should go, there is urgent business that Grandpa should take care of first..."
Yue Jian then took Zhou Bing to the main place of the Sect, they had to discuss about the White Peacock Organization further there as well as discuss this matter with the others.
"You sure you want to tell this to the others?" Zhou Bing frowned after hearing Yue Jian's plan.
"Just knowing the two of us won't get a solution, we'd better discuss with more people." Yue Jian thought the White Peacock problem should involve the other party especially the government side.

"When did you know all this?"
Linxia walked beside Zhou Yuan, both of them towards the waterfall as his Grandfather had ordered. Linxia was much speechless when the two were together before he finally opened his voice.
Zhou Yuan smiled faintly. "Miss Yue, I didn't mean to hide this from you but it wasn't the time for us to discuss it..."
Linxia was silent, his feelings were still mixed after knowing that his future fiancee was the one who had been close to him all this time as well as the one who seized his heart.
Linxia had originally intended to cancel the engagement because he did not agree with his family's decision but now, after learning Zhou Yuan was his future fiancee, his mind became indecisive but in his smallest heart he admitted to being happy.
"Brother Yuan, how do you feel about our engagement relationship?" Linxia asked back. He wanted to see what Zhou Yuan's answer would be like.
"For that problem... From the beginning I didn't mind her engagement just wasn't ready to talk about it..." There were many things that Zhou Yuan had to take care of in this second life especially his strength which was still weak. Zhou Yuan had to practice a lot for his purposes.
"Of course I didn't force Miss Yue to accept the engagement if she wasn't willing. We can reject it together." Zhou Yuan understood that this matchmaking was coercive so he did not have much hope from the start.
