Eps. 246 — Hanma City
"Yuan gege, you'd better fly first, I'll rest for a while to recover some of my inner strength. Don't worry about me..." Yifei smiled wryly when he found that his inner energy had already drained more than half of it.
This was not the first time Yifei said so, the two often stopped because the power in the girl was not as much as Zhou Yuan so within four hours Yifei asked to rest to replenish the power in return.
This made Yifei feel bad for his lover because he felt he had slowed down the young man's journey.
"I'll be waiting for you anyway soon night will come so we'd better get some rest." Zhou Yuan nodded slowly, calming the girl down while smiling warmly.
Zhou Yuan then turned to the surroundings to find a comfortable place for the two to rest, only seconds later he looked for Zhou Yuan to find a large city appearing at the end of his sight.
Zhou Yuan squinted, "If I'm not mistaken, the city in front of us should be named Hanma city. " Zhou Yuan smiled widely then turned to Yifei. "From sleeping in the open we better rest there..."
Yifei nodded, during the trip the two often slept in the open. Yifei did not feel bad if he occasionally slept in a more comfortable place.
Hanma City was one of the big cities that Zhou Yuan had to pass through to reach the Zhou family residence. Should have met the city then their journey is only a few days away.
As the two approached the city, Zhou Yuan frowned slightly when he saw a long queue at the entrance of Hanma.
The queue was not from traders but a queue from a group, seen members of the groups wearing the same uniform.
Zhou Yuan and Yifei then landed in the backmost queue, both of them mingling with the surrounding people and not looking as flashy as the newcomers.
"It looks like they are from a sect, but for what reason they brought so many of its members to this city..." Yifei muttered softly while looking at the queue of the group. The girl was astonished by the scene in front of her because it felt awkward.
Not only was one sect in line but there were also other sects, this phenomenon was rare in the martial world unless there was a big reason behind it.
Originally the arrival of Zhou Yuan and Yifei was not noticed by the surrounding people but it did not take long until many pairs of eyes were fixed on the two especially on Yifei.
Paras Yifei who was so eye-catching made it difficult for everyone to ignore him, this made the girl a little uncomfortable in the eyes of many people so that she tightened her body closer to Zhou Yuan.
Zhou Yuan chuckled, "That's because you're too pretty Fei'er..."

Fortunately though the queue was long yet the attendant process in handling it was so quick that within half an hour Zhou Yuan had already arrived at the examination section.
It was not difficult for Zhou Yuan and Yifei to enter, although the big city was in fact not very strict.
"It's just that they make a city barrier if the officer's job is only up to that..." Yifei snorted in annoyance, clearly not accepting when he was only asked the name and origin by the officer.
Yifei who was the Princess of the Moon Emperor was obviously disappointed that those paid by the government worked only perfunctory, when it should have been a long examination process because it covered the safety of the city.
Although categorized as a large city, Hanma City should not have as many residents as a large city in general.

Zhou Yuan was not fixated on the city for too long, he immediately looked for an inn for the two to spend the night here.
"Isn't the atmosphere here too strange, I can see that there are more warriors than ordinary citizens..." Yifei even felt the oddity when looking around the city.
Zhou Yuan smiled faintly. "I also think of something similar, it seems like they came to this city for the same reason."

The worker was surprised but hurriedly nodded, the price of one gold coin was enough to order two rooms there should even be a lot of change, the worker then gave two room keys to Zhou Yuan and Yifei.
"I'll go to my room first, if there's any business or whatever you can knock on my room." Yifei kissed Zhou Yuan's cheek.
"I see, rest, you look so tired today..." Zhou Yuan smiled as he stroked Yifei's head.
Yifei then went to his room while Zhou Yuan remained at the reception desk, there was something Zhou Yuan wanted to ask him.
"See there are a lot of visitors coming to this city, is there anything?"
Although Zhou Yuan had not been to Hanma City in his two lives but he knew little about the city, Zhou Yuan was aware that the current situation of Hanma city was far from normal.
The worker seemed calm, perhaps not the first time someone asked him this.
