Zhou Yuan sighed, he realized this young man named Jian Chen had already searched for information regarding him first before the two spoke.

Zhou Yuan briefly glanced at the girl beside Jian Chen who was his wife, he did not talk much and quietly watched the surroundings.

The three remained in the guild place until it became dark, when it was late at night they finally left as planned, going to the ancient tomb.

It did not take long for the three to arrive there, before them was already a bear that had just awakened when it sensed the presence of Zhou Yuan's entourage.

The bear guarded the door of the tomb so that no one would enter, other than its large body the bear had feathers that emitted electric sparks.

What bothered Zhou Yuan while dealing with the bear was the murderous aura it emitted, he did not understand how a demon could possess such a murderous aura.

Fortunately at midnight, no swordsman was around the tomb.

"Mei'er, sorry I had to trouble you today, can you handle it?" Jian Chen spoke to his wife while glancing at the bear.

"I understand my Husband, let me do it, you can go inside first."

Jian Chen smiled gently as he stroked his wife's head. "Be careful, don't get hurt."

"I understand..." Meily blushed then peeked at Jian Chen. "You also have to be careful inside."

After saying so Meily drew the sword at her waist, an heirloom sword that was fed by the element of lightning.

Zhou Yuan guessed that the lightning sword was one of the World Elemental Heirlooms that Jian Chen mentioned earlier, its quality and sharpness were not much different from Kusanagi swords.

Without a second thought Meily immediately ran up to the bear and began to launch an attack, her sword technique was agile enough to make the bear hurt.

The bear demon swung its feathered hands but Meily swiftly dodged before giving an unavoidable counterattack.

The hard and easily scratched bear's skin was in fact penetrated by the girl's sword, showing its extremely high quality of navel.

The bear demon roared furiously, trying to tear Meily apart but the girl's agility was too fast for her.

Meily began to move backwards and the bear followed her, so effectively that the bear began to chase after Meily.

"Broker Yuan, we'd better leave now!"

Zhou Yuan nodded, if according to plan, Meily was actually just stalling for time for the bear to become busy with her while he and Jian Chen would enter the tomb.

Meily's strength was actually above that bear demon even if she wanted to, the girl could kill the bear right now.

Zhou Yuan and Jian Chen finally started to step foot into the tomb, a long passageway leading underground was the first sight they encountered.

The two then went down the stairs, when they arrived at the bottom they found a room that had a large size but was filled with scattered bones.

Jian Chen pulled the asura sword from its scabbard, Zhou Yuan shortly afterwards followed and whipped out the Kusanagi sword. Both felt a sign of danger in the room.

When they had just stepped foot, suddenly the scattered bones began to tremble violently followed by them moving and fusing with the other bones, soon the bones themselves formed the skeleton of a human bone.

Seeing the arrival of the intruders into this tomb, the army of skulls began to move towards Zhou Yuan and Jian Chen.

Jian Chen who was the first to advance, with a sword in hand he immediately slashed the skull troops one by one until they were smashed into pieces.

Zhou Yuan also did not stay silent, he started to swing his sword at the skull troops when they were already within his attack range.

Even though the number of skull troops was very large but their strength only reached the peak of the silver realm. Zhou Yuan could easily face them without the slightest difficulty.

Half an hour passed, Zhou Yuan then sensed something strange when too long surrounded by the skull army. He was sure that he and Jian Chen should have killed more than half of them but their numbers did not decrease.

"Broker Yuan, take a good look at them!"

Jian Chen then pointed at one of the shattered skulls, before long the shattered bones began to fuse early and the already broken skull moved and came back to life.

Zhou Yuan held his breath, he had just noticed. Against this army of skulls is easy but facing them too will just waste a lot of energy.

Zhou Yuan used a change in the type of fire that made the sword kusanagi clad in a burning blue flame, Zhou Yuan slashed his sword towards the skull, not only crushed, but, the bones turned to dust as they were exposed to Zhou Yuan's blue flames.

The same action Jian Chen made on his sword, the young man who had the golden eye made his sword clad in flames.

Zhou Yuan frowned, Jian Chen's fire felt strange according to him because his fire was black flame, although there was a distance of several steps he felt Jian Chen's fire was hotter than his blue fire technique.

Both of them continued to shake the skulls until they turned to dust. It didn't take long until they managed to destroy every available army of skulls.

Not long after the skull was exhausted, the wall in the room suddenly opened and showed another path.

"Ancient tombs usually have several rooms and each room has different obstacles. You could say the person who made this tomb has the intention that only strong people can go inside..." Jian Chen Clear .

"Seems like you have more experience, Swordsman Jian?"

Juan Chen nodded, this was not the first time for him to trace the ancient tomb, three of the six heirloom swords he could come from an ancient tomb like this.

Jian Chen then began to step towards the next room followed by Zhou Yuan afterwards.

Each chamber of the tomb was in fact separated by a long passageway, before Zhou Yuan stepped into the passageway he was warned by Jian Chen to be careful because usually the passageway of the tomb placed many traps.

Sure enough, some poisonous needles immediately came off when the two pressed one of the trap buttons on the hallway floor.

Zhou Yuan who had been warned to be more prepared when the needles pointed at him, he hardened his skin with the dragon scales technique to reflect the arrows.

Zhou Yuan was sure that even those in the crystal realm could not avoid the poisonous needles within such a close distance, it was likely that they would have died from the traps in this tomb if they were not careful.

On the other hand Zhou Yuan clucked in awe at Jian Chen who seemed to be able to see all those needle traps and avoid them with the minimum possible movement.

The two continued to step through the tomb until finally arriving at the second room, Zhou Yuan frowned when in the room he found many statues lined up.

The statue was made of stone and formed a statue of a soldier complete with his weapon. Zhou Yuan squinted, he realized the statues were not ordinary displays in this tomb.
