Legend of the Heavenly Fruit

Legend of the Heavenly Fruit
Eps. 280 — Little Girl

Zhou Yuan stared at the bear's stealthy corpse for a while before sighing deeply, fighting the demon king was always an uneasy job for him.

Zhou Yuan took out Kusanagi's sword and cut through the bear's skin, draining an enormous amount of energy to dissect the hard bear's skin before pulling the stealth gem behind it.

Because it had become a demon king made the gems within it quite large and had a high density.

Zhou Yuan smiled widely, if in this tomb there were no precious items even if these stealth gems were enough for him.

After taking care of the body of the bear Zhou Yuan again made a fire to illuminate the surroundings, as he fought before making fireballs made so extinguished.

Zhou Yuan then saw there was a passageway leading to another room, he thought he should go in there, as someone who had been to the ancient tomb twice, he said, Zhou Yuan realized there must be a precious item at the end of the tomb.

Zhou Yuan continued his journey through the tomb. He was already on standby, worried that there was another demon waiting for him in front.

"It's..."

After passing through the long passageway of the tomb, Zhou Yuan was not greeted by a bear anymore but rather a view of the room filled with amethyst.

The amethyst emitted a purplish light, making the entire tomb room so bright by him. The amethyst seemed to have formed itself by natural phenomena.

"Ametic stone steel?!" Zhou Yuan recognized the type of stone. "Stone like this is very rare in the world, finding just one shard is enough to make someone rich..." Zhou Yuan was stunned in disbelief.

Seeing the abundance of amethyst formed in the room would take a dozen years to mine. Zhou Yuan had not expected to find such a rare treasure.

Steel amethyst is not a jewelry stone, it will usually be made as a weapon or protective suit for warriors. The quality of weapons from steel amethyst is very high so it has a high price.

"I might find a valuable mine here but I don't have time to mine them all..." Zhou Yuan scratched his head.

Zhou Yuan finally decided to pass through the amethyst mine, there was another room not far from him that attracted more attention.

An empty room but quite spacious, quiet room and also dark. There was a large, high-formed rock, which attracted attention, there was a sword stuck on it.

Zhou Yuan did not directly glance at the sword but rather there was an inscription on the stone.

'If you read the inscription on this stone, it means fate has allowed someone to find the tomb. The sword above is a sword named Ingrid, he is a living sword and has his own life...

'I've put a demon king to guard Ingrid's sword so that no one can get it. Only those who were fated were worthy of using that sword.

'Drop blood on the Sword of Ingrid and he will make you his master. The sword may be chatty, but he is a submissive sword...'

Zhou Yuan furrowed his brows reading the stone writing, in some parts he did not understand it especially in the last sentence, he did not understand the chatty sword intent.

Zhou Yuan, on the other hand, understood how the sword in the stone was so valuable that it had to be guarded by a demon king.

To defeat the bear was actually very difficult, it took six Light Realm warriors with 5 meridians open to be able to cripple it.

Zhou Yuan began to float in the air and approached the sword Ingrid was stuck in the stone, after taking a closer look, Zhou Yuan only realized that it looked beautiful with the greenish color of his sword.

As per the inscription on the stone, Zhou Yuan bit his thumb until it bled and then dripped it towards the sword.

Ingrid's sword soon shook violently after the blood hit the surface of his sword, at the same time it also began to glow greenish.

Zhou Yuan took some distance seeing Ingrid's sword reaction, he was not sure but suddenly his premonition felt strange.

Sure enough, the vibration of Ingrid's sword not long after that stopped before it suddenly floated in the air, regardless of the rock holding it back.

Zhou Yuan widened his eyes at once on standby to fight, the greenish sword started flying in all directions, turning, winding, spinning, like a living sword.

Zhou Yuan had never seen a sword move itself like that let alone him hover in the air.

After moving here and there for five minutes the sword finally began to slowly approach Zhou Yuan, making the young man alert and ready to draw his sword.

Exactly one meter in front of Zhou Yuan, Ingrid's sword suddenly stopped before him.

"Hey, so you're the one who made me free, huh?!"

Zhou Yuan was surprised when there was a female voice nearby, he turned his head but found no one.

"You see what, it's me, the sword you're holding." The woman's voice was heard again.

Zhou Yuan turned to Ingrid's sword, not long after which a girl appeared on the sword and floated before his face. The girl had a small body size, the size of a butterfly, there was a pair of wings on her back and she had a cute and sweet face.

"Buttery smile!"

Zhou Yuan was shocked half-dead, without further ado he directly threw Ingrid's sword in any direction.

When Ingrid's sword detached the little girl instantly disappeared from his sight, Zhou Yuan calmed his breath, the girl's appearance making his heartbeat stop for a moment.

A little while later Ingrid's sword lying down then floated up again and approached Zhou Yuan again.

Zhou Yuan realized the sword was waiting to be held by him, the young man steadied his heart, though hesitated in the end he held the Ingrid sword back.

"Based on being disrespectful, how dare you throw me like that!" The little girl reappeared and immediately rebuked right near Zhou Yuan's face. "Non-feeling, unethical, savage! Did you never learn manners!?"

Zhou Yuan gulped, although he was more prepared to see the girl again but remained stunned when he heard her rude remark.

Zhou Yuan looked at the girl for longer, although he cursed at her repeatedly but because her cute voice made him not seem to be scolded.

"Hey, did you hear me or not, you're being disrespectful!" The girl was still scolding Zhou Yuan.

Zhou Yuan coughed softly, aware that he had done something wrong to the girl. "Sorry, I didn't know you were on this sword, I didn't accidentally..."

"Hmmm!" The little girl placed both hands on her waist, snorting in annoyance. "Can a pretty girl like me be called a demon, do you think there's a butterfly?!"

Zhou Yuan smiled awkwardly, "Sorry..."

The little girl's anger fortunately did not gradually for long, she let out a long sigh before folding her hands on her chest, looking at Zhou Yuan.

"So you shed blood for me?" The little girl's tone now sounded more friendly.

Zhou Yuan nodded to answer the girl's question.

"Your abilities are very low but for the size in this world surely your strength is not bad." The little girl looked at Zhou Yuan from bottom to top. "To be cooped up for hundreds of years, it seems like I can't choose much to get someone strong..."

Zhou Yuan wasn't sure but the girl seemed disappointed to see herself.

"Because you have freed me means congratulations from today you will be my slave..." The girl puffed out her chest proudly, as if she was giving Zhou Yuan some tribute.

Zhou Yuan tilted his head. "Wouldn't it be the other way around, I'm now your master."

"Where did you hear that shit?"

"From the stone's inscription, he wrote so..." Zhou Yuan pointed out the large stone where Ingrid's sword had perched earlier.

The little girl turned her head and approached the stone writing, reading it. A moment later he approached Zhou Yuan again with a slightly tangled look on his face.

The little girl coughed slowly. "The inscription in the stone is wrong, you will be my slave, not the other way around."

Zhou squinted. "You're trying to lie."

"I'm not lying, who are you lying to..." The girl looked annoyed, but her gaze immediately turned away from Zhou Yuan's gaze.

Zhou Yuan shook his head slowly, one thing he knew from the little girl that she was a liar and she was not good at lying.
