Eps. 156 — Animal Human Race
In the end Yifei got a sword in the store, a second-rate heirloom that has a pink color from the handle to the sheath.
Zhou Yuan had told the girl to try to channel the blue flames on the heirloom, as expected, a second-rate heirloom capable of withstanding the heat of the fire.
After purchasing the sword for Yifei, Zhou Yuan left the Moonlight Shop, the two then headed for the field mentioned by Jiang Long as the venue for the auction event later to be held.
"This sword is good, isn't it?"
On the way, Yifei put his pink sword on his waist and showed it to Zhou Yuan in a bit of style.
Zhou Yuan smiled, "You seem to be a good fit to wear it..."
Yifei was pleased with the compliment, the girl became more cheerful. "You should teach me a lot of swordsmanship later, I don't really understand it."
Zhou Yuan nodded and gently stroked the girl's head.
Zhou Yuan did not know that the other reason Jiang Yifei wanted to buy the sword was not because he needed it but that the girl wanted to have a reason to be with Zhou Yuan.
The girl understood when this tournament event was over and they went home, not ruling out the possibility that Zhou Yuan would part with her. Because of this he wanted to maximize his time in order to get closer to Zhou Yuan.
When Zhou Yuan and Yifei were still tracing the streets of the city, their second steps had to come to a halt when above the sky appeared a burst of fireworks. Not just one but those fireworks explosions happen over and over again.
Not only both but the surrounding residents also witnessed the fireworks. Yifei was even fixated on gazing at the fireworks that began to adorn the night sky.
The fireworks show was a sign that the harvest celebration Jiang Long was referring to had already begun.
"A long time ago I didn't see a fireworks display like this?" Zhou Yuan took a look up at the sky, the first thing he saw was the memories of his first life.
Often when he ventured into various cities, fireworks displays were the most entertaining.
"I've only seen fireworks this close?" Yifei muttered then glanced towards Zhou Yuan.
Zhou Yuan smiled gently. "Aren't you always in town, fireworks shows at least happen every year there?"
Yifei shook his head then said that all this time he spent in the palace, he had only been traveling around the city a few times, even then only briefly for security reasons.
If there was a fireworks show like now, Yifei could only see it in the palace tower away from the surrounding residents.
"In the palace is too quiet, there are no friends I can chat with other than Grandpa. I always expected to be able to get out of the palace or turn into a bird that could freely fly over the sky..."
Zhou Yuan smiled awkwardly, confused as to what to respond to it.

Just as Zhou Yuan wanted to invite Yifei to continue in his footsteps, suddenly someone wearing a white coat and hooded slammed onto his shoulder causing the person to fall.
The man fell to his feet and grimaced a little in pain as his ass slumped to the ground. The hood used to cover his face immediately opened.
Zhou Yuan reached out his hand intending to help the person but for a moment his body pegged as the person's face was exposed before his eyes.
That person was a female in her 20s, her face was quite sweet but that was not what made Zhou Yuan react but rather the physical appearance of the girl which was quite strange.
Despite having a sweet face, the girl was not entirely human. She had cat-like ears and a tail behind her, the girl looked like a half-cat.
The cat girl was still in pain then stared intently at Zhou Yuan for a moment, not saying much she immediately covered her face with her hood back before standing up without receiving Zhou Yuan's helping hand. Without a word the girl then passed away.
Zhou Yuan looked at the girl's back, he was still surprised at her physical appearance.
"How can the beast-man race be here?!" Inner Zhou Yuan in heart.
Zhou Yuan was not the first time to see a person having such a girl appearance, in the Northern Mainland Continent there was indeed another race besides humans that was the Beast Human Race.
This race was a minority race in the four empires because of their smaller number than the number of humans occupying the northern continent.
The human race of animals is almost the same as the human physique in general but what distinguishes them has a kind of tail or ears that resemble animals. In certain cases there are those who have wings like an eagle and can fly.
These beast people usually live in the mountains, they live in groups in various places of the 4th Empire region, no one knows where they are staying because they are always hiding from humans.
"What are you looking at?" Yifei who had been glued to the fireworks now found Zhou Yuan looking in one direction.
Yifei's question awakened Zhou Yuan from his daydream.
"Nothing..." Zhou Yuan realized, "So I just saw something that made me curious."
Yifei seemed to not understand what Zhou Yuan said, he then invited the young man to continue their steps that had stopped.
On Zhou Yuan's journey more daydreaming, he still thought of the cat ear girl.

The human animal race is often considered as an abominable group by the population of most, not excessive human animal race get extreme discrimination by humans.
Many cases of a swordsman hunting a race of star humans to be kidnapped and used as slaves.
Because of this race they choose to live in the forest rather than down to the city and mingle, in addition to being shunned they will also be immediately captured by humans.
