Eps. 44 — Wedding Events
"Li, this is not the time to complain!"
"Hmph, just tell me you're afraid to fight him..." The girl developed her cheeks.
The Third Elder sighed and rolled his eyes lazily.
Fourth Elder Xian Li, she was the only female of the four Elders that belonged to the Eternal Snow. Xian Li might seem like a weak girl but actually her abilities were the most powerful of the four Eternal Snow Elders.
Which made the Third Elder feel lazy to talk to Xian Li because of the character of the girl who was lazy, not to mention when talking her tone was always spoiled like a young girl in general.
The Third Elder had no problem with that but given Xian Li's actual age, they were more suited to calling her a grandmother than a miss.
"I'm not afraid, just worried that if he loses he'll run." The Third Elder denied it sharply, he had confidence in his abilities, although later his opponent had a level of strength above him though.

The fireworks were also a signal the Eternal Snow organization had to make a move, the Third Elder then signaled his members to start his mission now.
Three hundred Eternal Snow members instantly moved, running on the roofs of the buildings towards the mayor's current wedding.
"I hope it's not boring..." Xian Li stood beside the Third Elder, yawning widely.
"I hope you're serious tonight too." The Third Elder looked at him sharply.
Xian Li chuckled. "You're always serious in a situation, boring. But okay, even if I'm lazy to act doesn't mean I'll just shut up."
The Third Elder rolled his eyes lazily, not replying to Xian Li any further. He chose to run after his members who had moved first.

Zhou Yuan looked around the mayor's wedding quite lively, there were many guests invited from either the upper class or the lower classes.
Tables are provided in the courtyard of the mayor's residence, lined up neatly with food and drinks that have been served.
"Ah, looks like we're late for Yuan'er..." Zhou Bing smiled faintly as he saw that there was almost no empty table for the two to occupy.
The center of the wedding is in the mayor's residence building, precisely on the fourth floor. That's where the mayor's son is going to have their wedding tonight.
The building is only allowed to be entered by certain guests invited directly by the mayor, there are two officers who stand guard there to ensure that guests carelessly no one enters.
Just as Zhou Bing was at a loss to sit next to him, an officer from the mayor suddenly came to him.

After his grandfather left, Zhou Yuan chose to find an empty seat, sitting there with the other invited guests.
The more the night of the wedding the more festive, Zhou Yuan on the other hand yawned widely because he was bored. For two hours he just silently watched the surroundings. Zhou Yuan wished for his Grandfather to return soon and bring him home.
"I hope the show doesn't last long." Zhou Yuan grabbed the spelt tea cup, he was about to drink it but before doing so, there was a faint foreign smell in the tea.
Zhou Yuan was surprised to recognize the smell. "It's poison!"
Not yet Zhou Yuan recovered from his shock, fireworks began to be lit up the sky, the wedding event was already at the cusp of his show. The guests applauded in amazement at the fireworks contrasted with Zhou Yuan's now tense face.
The applause did not last long because suddenly one by one of them began to fall to the ground. The poison in the tea began to react.
Within the next three minutes, almost all the guests had already fallen to the ground, Zhou Yuan approached one of them to check their condition.
"It's a sleeping poison... No, it's the Ice Snake's poison." Zhou Yuan clucked as he recognized the poison, the same poison that Grandfather Jiang had given to him earlier.
The guests who had yet to drink tea instantly sensed that something was awkward, some of them were even frightened when suddenly everything fell to the ground just like that.
Zhou Yuan was still digesting the situation when suddenly a horde of masked people walked into the mayor's residence with a staggering amount.
Zhou Yuan gulped as he realized what was going on. "This, this is an attack..."
