Legend of the Heavenly Fruit

Legend of the Heavenly Fruit
Eps. 3 — Zhou Family Nobles

Zhou Yuan did not understand but his feelings for his parents were a very strong bond and Zhou Yuan had only first felt close to someone like this other than his teacher.

Maybe that's what is called family bonding, the affection is so pure without having to ask first.

The next day Zhou Yuan started trying to do something.

Zhou Yuan started to surround the Zhou Family residence further, this mission has not been completed since the past three days because the noble family residence has a very spacious residence.

"How long do I have to use these short legs..." Zhou Yuan smiled faintly as he felt every step of his foot so small and short.

Zhou Yuan did not himself surround the Zhou family residence, beside him were two servants guarding him at all times.

"Auntie, what's that place?" Zhou Yuan asked one of the servants when he saw a building larger than the others.

"Oh that is the library, Young Master, there are many books gathered there..." Obviously the waiter told me.

Zhou Yuan smiled widely, after a long search he finally found the building he needed. Zhou Yuan may have been born again but he does not know exactly when and where he was born now.

Zhou Yuan entered the library, when he saw a woman standing guard in the library.

Seeing his great Young Master visiting, the librarian immediately bowed respectfully to Zhou Yuan.

"Young Master, I didn't know you'd be coming here either, if I knew it I might have welcomed you at the door..." The officer apologized.

"Auntie, that's too much, I just want to visit this room." Zhou Yuan waved his hand, telling the female attendant not to think about it any further.

The library attendant smiled warmly, he had already heard from another attendant regarding the rumors of the privilege of the son of Zhou Yao, in addition to being heard with his maturity at the age of three years, he said, Zhou Yuan was also famous for his kind-hearted and unkind nature.

Zhao Yuan then asked the librarian about where the history books were placed, the library had a room large enough that there were thousands of books inside.

After being told Zhou Yuan took one of the books off the shelf, when he was about to read it suddenly his ears trembled upon hearing the whispers of the servant who spoke not far from him.

"I didn't know the young master could read, had he learned it?"

"I don't know, I just found out that Young Master can read today."

"Hm, maybe Madam has been teaching him secretly our time is not there?"

"Come, but I don't think Madam will do that, at least we'll know that the young master was learning to read."

The whispers of his two servants successfully made Zhou Yuan almost pat his eel, he forgot about it. Zhou Yuan may have been able to read at his age but in this life he has not been taught to read at all by anyone.

"I could have read this book by now but they would have been suspicious when I could suddenly just read it..." Zhou Yuan sighed, with a heavy heart he put the book back on his shelf.

It seemed like Zhou Yuan had to ask his mother to teach him to read earlier.

"Yuan'er, why is your face so sad, is there something?" Zhou Yao smiled gently when he found his son was in the library as well.

Zhou Yuan immediately paid his respects to his father, the two servants as well as the library attendant also bowed his body when he saw Zhou Yao.

Zhou Yuan smiled faintly, despite the umpteenth time he still felt awkward when it came to being carried like a child, however for his actual age it felt embarrassing.

"Master Yao, it seems like the young master wants to see the books in the library but cannot read the contents..." One of the servants seemed to understand the young master's feelings.

Zhou Yao smiled warmly then turned to Zhou Yuan, "Is that so Yuan'er?"

Zhou Yuan scratched his nose while smiling awkwardly, he then nodded slowly.

"Hm, I was actually planning on teaching you to read when you were five years old but it seems like speeding up doesn't hurt. Later after this I will tell your mother to teach you to read, she is a smart woman if you want to know Yuan'er."

Zhou Yuan smiled widely. Nodding. "Thank you, Dad..."

Zhou Yao chuckled, these few days he could not meet his son because he was busy taking care of the Zhou family government, as a successor to his family he only had a little time with Zhou Yuan or his wife.

Zhou Yuan returned to his mother's residence after visiting the library, Lin Ruyue looked anxious when she saw Zhou Yuan with her father, she thought her son went to her husband's workplace and disturbed her.

"He didn't bother me Yue'er, we just met accidentally in the library..." Zhao Yao chuckled slightly at the expression of his wife.

"Library? What did Yuan'er do go there?"

"He seems interested in books but can't read them, I hope you can teach that to Yuan'er."

Lin Ruyue nodded, "I understand my husband, I will teach him tomorrow."

Zhao Yao smiled warmly and stroked the head of his wife before moving on to his son, and then said goodbye to having to go back to work.

"Yuan'er, I've never said this before but don't bother your father while working, he's been very busy lately. Do you understand?" Lin Ruyue reminded.

"I understand you, I won't do it again..." Zhou Yuan scratched his head, not knowing that his father would also be in the library at that time.

The next day Zhou Yuan began to learn to read, he deliberately could not just start but learn slowly, at least he could read after two months patronized by his mother.

"Yuan'er, as always, you always surprise me..."

Lin Ruyue smiled faintly watching her son's cleverness day after day, not only reading but she also taught her son to count but everything that his son could do in just a few months.

Lin Ruyue was certainly happy that Zhou Yuan was so intelligent like this, he was simply not used to witnessing his son's cleverness which he thought was beyond reason.

Zhou Yuan himself did not feel proud of it, he naturally understood the reason. After learning to read from his mother Zhou Yuan so often went to the library, he began to continue his mission to find information.

The following days Zhou Yuan spent a lot of time in the library, he started reading from one book to another until one day he got his answer.

"It's..." Zhou Yuan stared at the book in his hand with a look of disbelief, he even reread so afraid of his harm. "This means I... I have been reborn after a hundred years of my death?"

From the book there is an era of destruction where all the reasons occur because of the struggle for the legendary fruit. Zhou Yuan believed the fruit in question was 7 Heavenly Fruits and that meant that era was the time where he died.
