Jian Chen sat on one of the podiums not far from the arena stage, before long the Head of the Academy who was the tournament organizer started his show. He welcomed the guests first, explained the tournament rules and the prizes to be obtained for the champion students.
Ziyun, Meily as well as the other participants who were taking part in the tournament sat in line in front of the arena. They waited for the committee to call their names to fight later.
In one of his deliveries, the Head of the Academy announced that the tournament was conducted over three days, the first day of the preliminary round, the main round and the last of the final round.
For students themselves, this tournament is not just a competition but to seize the position in the academy. Ten genius disciples could change positions in this tournament if defeated.
The year tournament now seemed even more festive in the previous three years especially there were clan heads present.
After the Head of the Academy finished the opening of the tournament, Jian Chen suddenly let out a long sigh making Lily wonder as the young man's expression looked disheveled.
“Is there something wrong with the tournament committee? Is he your enemy?” ask Lily curiously.

The tournament on the stage had begun, seen two disciples coming from two camps. The referee gave a cue and then the two disciples started fighting in the arena.

The Liu clan could not attack the Chu clan without having a clear reason because if they attacked just like that, the other clans would get angry and instead invade the Liu clan.
In Jian Chen's first life, he had heard that in the middle of this tournament there would be a terrible tragedy where dozens of Qianshan academy disciples were killed for no apparent reason.
The head of the Academy who came from the Chu clan was accused of the tragedy for assuming less protection for his students. The impact of the name of the Chu clan was also instantly polluted.

The cloaked person nodded and smiled hearing that, “so what do you think of this mission, whether you can handle it or I should also join the hand fight?”
The twelve people looked at each other for a moment before shaking in unison. “Leaders don't have to move, our 12 Liu clan assassins are even too easy to carry out this mission.”
The robed man laughed, “Alright, then I'll be right waiting for you guys at headquarters. As input, you better move at night when the students are asleep, it can ease your mission.”
The twelve assassins of the Liu clan nodded simultaneously, the cloaked person then left them after.
