Jian Wu not long after came with his wife and a healer, the healer first examined Jian Chen's body by palpating his palms and pulse.
“How? Is Chen’er okay?” Jian Wu asked the healer anxiously, thinking that the reason Jian Chen fainted was due to training with him.
“Thank God, your son has improved as before. Maybe he is tired because it takes too much energy so you should let him rest and do not need to practice first for some time.”
The healer then prescribed the medicine so that Jian Chen's energy could quickly recover.
Jian Chen himself actually knew that what caused him to fall unconscious was not fatigue but pain in his head.
After feeling that his work was done, the physician left. Jian Wu drove him to the door of the house, he did not forget to thank and pay the appropriate fee.
From the room, Jian Chen was warned by his mother not to train for a while, even Jian Ran's tone was a little firm given his stubborn son's attitude.
Jian Chen nodded slowly and said he would according to his mother's advice.
Seeing that Jian Ran put on a friendly face back with a warm smile. He took the food that had been brought before and told his son to eat immediately before taking the medicine.
“Or want a bribe?” Jian Ran teased his son while chuckling.
Jian Ran was a mother figure who had a carefree attitude, had a beautiful face and a high maternal aura.
He was eager to spoil his only child even though he was 12 years old. Basically how big a child grows and matures for a mother she is still her little child, such was Jian Ran's view on Jian Chen.
Even if you can choose, a mother will not let her child grow and become an adult.
Jian Chen smiled awkwardly, he might be 12 years old but his mentality and attitude were now far from his lifespan. Jian Chen refused slowly, preferring to take the bowl of soup immediately before his mother teased him further.
“Chen’er is now late at night, after you eat do not forget to take the medicine that the healer gave and then immediately sleep and rest.” Jian Ran reminded.
“Good, Mother. I'll do it..”
“Tomorrowed no name of exercise, learning sword, or strengthening the body. For the next week, as long as your body is still sick, do not leave the house! You understand, Jian Chen?!”
Jian Chen smiled, nodding. “Good, Mother.”
“There is no dispute, Chen’er. If mom says you have to rest then get some rest! Don't tell me you won't do it or I will... Eh? What was..”.
Jian Chen chuckled, he was not wrong if he did go back in time. His mother's nagging attitude was still the same when she was a child.
Jian Ran on the other hand looked at his son in confusion, to his knowledge Jian Chen had a stubborn nature even though he was sick. Once upon a time, even though he had a fever, Jian Chen continued to practice even though his mother had strictly forbidden him, now when Jian Chen was so obedient his feelings made Jian Ran surprised.
Seeing that Jian Chen had already taken the medicine, Jian Ran chose to leave the room. Before leaving Jian Ran first kissed his son's forehead.
Jian Chen closed his eyes feeling the kiss of his mother, the last time he kissed his mother when he was leaving for the Academy, it was also his mother's last kiss before he could not see her again.
“Rest, Chen’er, do not make the mother worry anymore.” Jian Ran smiled stroking his son's head before getting up and leaving.
After the sound of his mother's footsteps drifting away, Jian Chen flicked his blanket before getting up towards the window. Jian Chen opened the window, his gaze fixed on the night ceiling.
Jian Chen thought about himself why he could go back in time, obviously this phenomenon was something that many others wanted let alone that person had as many regrets in his life as Jian Chen.
“I don't know what fate chose me like this but for sure, I will protect my family at this second chance.” Jian Chen steadied his heart with strong determination.

Over the next few days, Jian Chen obeyed what his mother wanted: not to practice first. Jian Wu also forbade his son and was unwilling to train as long as Jian Chen was still sick.
Jian Chen actually did not mind even he was impressed to enjoy it, Jian Chen's intention from the beginning was just to spend time with his parents let alone his mother.
“Chen’er, do you want to learn to cook?” Jian Ran smiled gently as his son suddenly went into the kitchen.
Jian Chen nodded. “Abilitate, Mother?”
“Of course you can, darling, why not.” Jian Ran crouched down to stroke the tip of his son's head. “What do you want to learn? The soup? Curry?”
“I want to learn both..”.
Jian Ran was not as calm as he looked, his mind was troubled by his son's attitude which these few days had changed a lot especially since Jian Chen had always wanted to be close to him.
Indeed instinctively a 12-year-old boy seemed natural to be close to his mother even still spoiled, but Jian Chen's attitude was originally not like that.
Rather than spending time with his mother, Jian Chen preferred to train every day, working hard to become a powerful swordsman like what his son often aspired to be.
This caused him not to have time to stay at home let alone accompany his mother, Jian Chen chose to become a true man like Jian Wu his father who was a swordsman.
Jian Ran himself did not force Jian Chen's decision into what it would be, whether it was a swordsman or a scholar. Even if he can choose he wants his son not to enter the dangerous martial world.
As Jian Chen walked into the kitchen and wanted to learn to cook it was a rare phenomenon, it was no wonder that Jian Ran was confused by the change in his son's attitude.
“Mother, where do we start learning?” Jian Chen was already holding the knife, making Jian Ran wake up from his daydream.
“Mm... How about we make soup first?” Jian Ran hurriedly smiled, returning an expression.
Jian Chen nodded, “Good, Mother.”
Of course Jian Chen realized what his mother was thinking only that he understood her because he knew her attitude now instead of the Jian Chen his mother knew.
The strong reason Jian Chen had always been close to his mother was because of a simple reason, he missed his mother.
Jian Ran began to teach every dish he could to his son, in some time his brows were slightly wrinkled because Jian Chen's talent for cooking was so high.
Jian Chen seemed to know every portion of the seasoning poured on his cooking, every one he threw was very precise, the fireplace in the furnace was also suitable so that when Jian Ran tasted it his eyes immediately widened.
‘It's really delicious!’ Jian Ran seemed to be in disbelief but realized that the tongue could not lie.
The moment the mother and son pair were in the kitchen before long Jian Wu came because the aroma of Jian Chen's cooking was so fragrant. He was a little astonished when he arrived because there was Jian Chen, something that his son rarely did.
Realizing her husband came Jian Ran directly approached her while carrying a bowl, “Suami, try to taste this cuisine, you must love it!”
Jian Wu's forehead wrinkled slightly but according to it, he devoured Jian Ran's mouthful for a bit before nodding. “Enak, as usual. Your cooking is always good.”.
“But this is not my cooking.” Jian Ran shook his head.
“Hm? Who then, did Chen’er cook it?”
“This is indeed made by Chen’er.”
Jian Wu coughed softly, “Ran’er, you are always good at joking in every condition.”.
“I'm serious my husband, Chen’er is the one who cooks!” Jian Ran turned to his son who was still stirring the soup in the pot. “Tadi Chen’er does want to learn to cook but in one try the cuisine is almost the same as the cuisine I made, is not this talent?”
Jian Wu was speechless, he was at a loss as to what it should be.
The light highlight Jian Ran looked brighter like there was hope that had grown. “Hey, my husband, didn't we once agree that when our children are talented in one area then we should support them.”
Jian Wu's premonition worsened, he already knew where his wife was going.
“Now..” Jian Ran continued. “Jian Chen turns out to be talented in the field of cuisine, this means we have to support him to become a cook. Isn't Chen’er's talent on the sword very bur.I mean still less, it would be nice for him to be a chef than a swordsman.”.
Jian Wu coughed softly. “You're mistaken, Ran’er. Jian Chen's development on the sword had already grown very rapidly, now he could almost technique my sword!” Jian Wu was forced to lie because he did not want Jian Chen to change the flow towards what his mother wanted.
Jian Ran's eyes narrowed suspiciously. “If he is talented in the field of swordsmanship didn't he faint last day during training?”
Jian Wu began to misbehave and defended with other false facts, he was eager for Jian Chen to become a great swordsman.
Eventually the two couples began to argue for a future that Jian Chen had achieved, between his mother who wanted Jian Chen to become a chef or his father who wanted to become a swordsman.
Jian Chen who was still cooking came to a halt then looked at his mother and father who were even having a small quarrel. He did not try to divorce because sometimes like that his family.
Jian Chen smilingly felt back the warmth of his family, a sensation he had already forgotten.
Unfortunately there was one unavoidable fact from Jian Chen now that he was not the son of his current parents.
