Eps. 208 — Lost
Jian Chen scratched his head that the umpteenth time made his face even more disheveled, it had been three days since he had left his teacher's residence, Jian Chen still did not find a city or village.
"It's really bad, I should have asked Master before he left, instead of getting lost like this." Jian Chen sighed the umpteenth time as well.
During those three days that Jian Chen had only discovered a vast expanse of forest, he would stop while eating and sleeping a while after which he continued flying. Despite flying for that long Jian Chen did not find a city.
This time Jian Chen also had to land because the night was getting late, although he could have been flying non-stop yet Jian Chen chose to have enough rest and also eat. He made a bonfire and sat nearby while burning the forest chicken he had just gotten.
"Do you want me to kill?" Jian Chen stared intently at the tiger that was settling down about to pounce at him.
The tiger was getting slowly closer to Jian Chen but when it was near its prey Jian Chen suddenly released a dense death aura.
Jian Chen's death aura instantly made the tiger have trouble breathing for a few seconds, Jian Chen withdrew his aura making the tiger again able to breathe again.
"He?!"
The tiger curled up in fear at Jian Chen, so afraid that he could not move from his place.
"Go away..." Jian Chen said softly but in the tiger's ears was like a threat and an order, realizing Jian Chen was not interested in him the tiger ran away in a storm.
"Would you be so upset that you should scold a tiger..." Lily from inside laughed mockingly.
"Shut up..." Jian Chen clucked in annoyance which made Lily just laugh more and more.
Jian Chen was indeed a little frustrated because of his lostness, added Lily who continued to talk made his emotions so irritable.
After eating Jian Chen slept for a while before returning to continue his journey by flying up into the sky. Jian Chen thought this fourth day would be the same as the previous three days but it turned out to be different.
"I thought I'd finally met you..." Jian Chen exclaimed enthusiastically seeing that there was a place that was definitely made by humans. When the flying was near the spot Jian Chen's forehead wrinkled while scratching his head. "Hm, something's weird..."
The place was indeed man-made but Jian Chen was a little familiar with the shape of the place. The sides have a fort made of wood, in each corner of the fort there is a tower to monitor the surroundings.
"Based robber, so anyone builds in the woods like this?"
Jian Chen slightly understood about the headquarters of the robbers especially since he had leveled some of them. Generally the robbers always build a base in a place that is not reached by humans, the middle of the forest is one of them.
Jian Chen wanted to land on the robber headquarters when his gaze fell not far from the headquarters.
He found that there were some people who were chased by one woman.
The woman was clearly stronger than the person she was chasing, the direction they were running towards was towards the robber headquarters.
The woman continued to run quickly until she was finally able to chase after her opponent and kill one of them in one slash.
Seeing her partner killed so easily, they further added to her running speed while the woman was no less fast running with two swords in her hands.
"Stop y'all-! I will kill for what you have done!" The woman shouted furiously at the person she was chasing.
As their running speed finally arrived at the base of the pirates, the men who were chased by the woman immediately exclaimed for help at the others saying there was an intruder.
That's when the woman realized that she had been framed by the person she was chasing.
Not long after hearing the call, the pirates inside the headquarters rushed out. They were quite numerous, about 20 to thirty people.
"Beautiful girl, so you're after our group?"
"You set me up, you coward!"
The girl grew furious but was not hunted by emotion anymore, she became alert and looked at the situation further.
"Coward? You're the one who's too naive to go after our members who indirectly gave up your life... No, I mean our toy." The leader of the robbers licked his lips looking at the beauty of the girl in front of him.
"Hmph! You think I'm quiet, I happen to find your base, I'll flatten you all!"
The robber leader laughed followed by his subordinates. "Tell us? With abilities? That's right..."
The girl does have a high enough strength than the robbers only she is less in number, her position is not advantaged and may endanger her life.
Not waiting any longer, the robbers immediately stormed the girl, they attacked but did not intend to kill, obviously their intention was to want the girl's body.
Unlike her opponent, the girl fought earnestly. His defensive position left him no time to attack.
Slowly the wounds on the girl's body were engraved, her powers that were in the first stage Life Realm could not hold back the dozens of those in the Soul Realm.
The group of robbers is actually a small group of robbers, can not be compared with the large and branching group of Devil Tower.
The girl then spouted fire in her mouth and made her separate from the siege of the robbers.
"Lumayan too, sweet girl, your ability is not too bad turns out..." The leader of the robbers patted his clothes that were slightly burning with fire.
The girl's breathing was disjointed, her inner strength was how much more but she still found no chance of winning or even escaping.

The girl threw out the spit. "I'd rather die than be your toy!"
The robber leader clucked in annoyance. "Don't force me, if we're serious you've been killed!"
"Then let me finish you off!" The girl attacked again first, this time using her sword technique.
The girl's movements became agile and difficult to guess as a result with her sword she killed some of them.
Seeing its members being killed just like that made the robber leader become angry. "Kill him now!"
In a dozen moves, the girl became cornered because her opponent now really took out her strength. It didn't take long for him to fall to his knees with consciousness almost disappearing as a result of a lot of blood coming out.
The leader of the robbers who had been furious immediately raised his sword, wanting to swing at the girl but suddenly his body stopped instantly.
An aura suddenly pressed down on his body which made him unable to move, not only did he even his other members feel the same way.
Before the robber leader digested the situation there was suddenly a gust of wind passing through his body which at once made his gaze dark forever.

The girl did not see the incident too much because her consciousness had blurred and faded, she only saw a glimpse of someone who caught her body before she was unconscious.
"I didn't think we'd see each other again..." Jian Chen smiled faintly, looking at the girl who was already closed in on his lap.
