Light Cultivation
Eps. 173 — Fugitive Province

"Do you need anything?"

Jian Chen felt that the people who had just boarded the ship were constantly staring at him with a hostile look, this made him stop his eating.

Initially the attention of the thirty passengers was on the five Lan brothers, they looked drugged at the fifth beauty not to mention their fair faces.

However when his gaze turned to Jian Chen, their gazes became different. Jian Chen sensed that there was killing intent from them as he looked at himself even though he felt he had no problem with the entourage.

The entourage did not answer Jian Chen's question, one of them the oldest gave instructions to the others to sit at their respective tables.

Jian Chen frowned but did not think of it any further, if the party had evil intentions on him their strength was not enough to defeat him let alone kill him.

The average of the thirty people was all teenagers, his age might be 18-19 years. Only one of them is 40 years old.

As for their strength, they were only at the Soul Realm Stage 4 to 7 while the oldest ones were at the Life Realm.

Jian Chen guessed they were only a disciple of the academy or a sect while the 40-year-old was a teacher or perhaps his guide.

Jian Chen continued his delayed meal until the plates on his desk ran out, he then went to the deck of the ship while the five twin girls were still busy eating except for Lan Qiaoqiao.

"It seems like your journey is still long, maybe one to two months later you can arrive?"

Lily commented as Jian Chen stood on the deck of the ship while enjoying the wind that hit his body.

Jian Chen opened his eyes, "Not really, although the mainland of this province is vast but as long as I get the vehicle I need maybe I can get up to a week to go there..."

"I know, I mean your movement on the way is pretty slow because you keep taking care of things that are none of your business. I know you've eliminated a group of assassins at the request of one of the cities, you should have done it sooner if you'd have noticed."

Jian Chen certainly understood Lily's intentions, he could have moved faster had it not helped matters that were not his problem.

The problem was that Jian Chen had always cared for those who needed his help thus making the trip so often delayed.

"I can't just let that group of assassins go, they're going to cause a lot of casualties going forward."

Lily wanted to say more words but Jian Chen had the arrival of someone.

Jian Chen turned his head back and found the group that had previously been staring at him had already lined up and blocked Jian Chen from escaping.

"Learner, it looks like your eyes are actually gold, right?" The leader of the entourage who was in his 40s exclaimed loudly at Jian Chen.

"Is that a problem?" Jian Chen raised one eyebrow.

"You admit it means you're the same person who harmed Prince Yun?"

Jian Chen frowned, slightly surprised as they could instantly tell the news. 'Hm, it seems like the news of the prince's assault has spread throughout the province, sooner I guess...'

"Not answering means it's true, a gift can meet you, sorry but this is our order to kill you?"

Jian Chen smiled faintly "You guys want to kill me here? On the river with all of you?"

"Hmph! We don't care, as long as you're dead then all of this will be worth it."

Jian Chen shook his head slowly, feeling that the person was not very smart in judging the situation while the teenagers behind him were just following his directions alone.

Hearing that there will be a fight, the ship owner and his manager looked tense and a little scared, they were not a swordsman and were afraid that the impact of the fight could hurt and kill him.

Moreover, they were in the middle of waters like this so could not escape anywhere

"I'm sorry but I can't let that happen?"

"Miss, I don't have any problems with you, don't block us!"

"It's my problem now if you harm Brother Jian!" Lan Qiaoqiao said coldly.

"Miss, I'll warn you first and last time, don't interfere with my problems with her."

"Since when did this become a problem, I see you're the one who made it because of here..." Lan Qiaoqiao said in a mocking tone.

The leader of the group clenched his hands hard, though he said rudely he was not brave enough to hurt a beautiful girl like them.

But because he was in front of his students he could not be gentle, he then ordered the others to attack Lan Qiaoqiao and her sister. Of course with the intention of not killing.

"Brother Jian, let us handle them..." Lan Qiaoqiao said before Jian Chen was about to make a move.

Jian Chen scratched his head then sighed softly, "Alright but make sure you guys don't kill them."

The five girls used hand science to fight the group, although the opponent used weapons but all five still dominated the fight.

Five Lan brothers turned out to have expertise in using bare-handed science and the techniques he issued were high techniques.

"These girls?!"

The leader of the party swore repeatedly, he did not expect his strength and entourage to go too far against the five girls in front of him.

The leader of the troupe began to regret having made trouble with the five girls who might be able to have long-tail and endanger the lives of his students.

One in five girls was enough to defeat thirty of his students.

Within a short period of time the five Lan brothers had managed to surpass the fight, each punch and kick was enough to make the one that hit him to his knees.

A few seconds later half had lost, the leader of the group raised his hand as well as dropped his weapon.

"We gave up, we were wrong, please forgive me and my students..." The leader of the group immediately knelt down and asked for forgiveness.

Jian Chen then took a slow step and stopped in front of him, "It's good that you quickly learn the situation before all this becomes more complicated than you think..."

From the very beginning Jian Chen had no intention of killing them should it fight especially some of the entourage were seen as teenagers and just following orders.

On the other hand he wanted to finish off the leader of the group but the current situation was not right.

Jian Chen then asked them about how he could find out what he had done to Yun Longxia.

The reply from the leader of the entourage made Jian Chen frown, "So the provincial government has regarded me as a fugitive in the entire mainland of the Wind Dragon province?"

"True swordsmen, they use a sheet to search for you, anyone who tells the location or can even kill you will be rewarded with considerable wealth."

Jian Chen sighed, although he already knew it would happen like this but hearing it directly clearly felt different.

Never thought in this second life would he be a fugitive, if his parents knew it they might fall unconscious.

Even so Jian Chen was not afraid of the government because he was innocent in it, it was obviously Yun Longxia who started the fight.

Jian Chen then let go of their entourage as long as it did not seek to be with him or else this situation would not be repeated again.

The leader of the entourage breathed a sigh of relief, he thought Jian Chen was a cruel person considering he had become a fugitive yet the young man was not as bad as he saw it.

One thing that the leader of the troupe did not understand, Jian Chen's age looked younger than him even like the same age as his students. There is no way a teenager can shake a province with his actions.
