Light Cultivation

Light Cultivation
Eps. 342 — End of Destination (Last)

Jian Chen continued to fly for the next few days without stopping in the slightest, when his inner power was about to thin he would land to recover some of his inner power before continuing to fly back.

After passing through the ocean separating between provinces, Jian Chen could finally see the territory of the Jian clan at the tip of his horizon.

Jian Chen looked at the Jian clan from above the sky, after three years of not coming here made him slightly forget the changes the Jian clan had undergone but certainly the Jian clan was growing and more advanced.

Jian Chen wanted to continue flying towards the location of his house when suddenly there was someone hovering over him.

"I thought it was you..." That person, Jian Ya, held back her feelings when her guess was correct that the flying swordsman was the figure she had longed for all this time.

"Yes, i-i..."

Before Jian Chen finished his sentence Jian Ya had already moved and hugged himself. Jian Chen could feel his lover's embrace so tightly that it even slightly trembled.

"Is there something?" Jian Chen stroked Jian Ya's back slowly, he could hear the girl's sobs while hugging her.

Jian Ya did not answer, she wiped her tears that did not stop. Jian Chen smiled and let the girl continue to hug him.

Jian Chen did not know that when he went to destroy the Shio Organization, Jian Ya was always worried about his safety at all times.

The girl was very anxious because Jian Chen offended criminal people of Shio level, to Jian Ya it was not much different from ushering in life.

Despite knowing very well Jian Chen was very strong it did not make his mood good, however Jian Ya loved Jian Chen very much and did not want the young man for anything.

"I'm sorry, it must have made you worry like this..." Jian Chen stroked the girl's hair, trying to calm her down.

Jian Ya finally stopped crying, he raised his head before timidly peeking at Jian Chen's cheeks. "It's okay, as long as you return safely I'll wait for you at any moment."

Jian Ya finally let go of her embrace, the girl's face slightly flushed due to her actions on Jian Chen who directly hugged her just like that.

Jian Chen then conveyed his intention of wanting to meet his parents, Jian Ya nodded and said he would catch up with him later.

"I can't go with you, there's important business that I have to finish first, after my business is done then I'll go to your house."

Jian Chen did not mind the matter, before the two parted ways, Jian Chen whispered something into the girl's ears with a successful gentle tone making Jian Ya blush.

The girl hurriedly went away Jian Chen after the young man said so, he did not want Jian Chen to see her face that was redder than before.

"She's a real innocent girl when it comes to feelings..." Lily shook her head repeatedly followed by a soft sigh.

Jian Chen only smiled awkwardly at Lily's muttering, not refuting her words any further.

Lily had been awake since yesterday, the girl's strength had reached the realm of the God Realm. Although at the same cultivation realm, Jian Chen sensed Lily could fight those in the next realm.

Jian Chen then continued his flight, his speed decreasing when the house he had left behind by several years was already visible. With a deep breath, Jian Chen's body slowly descended and landed in front of his courtyard.

***

In his first life, Jian Chen had already become a high-level swordsman, he may show off his powers to his parents to make them proud but in that life he can't do that because they're gone.

Although Jian Chen could return to his home at any time in that life, but he had not felt the definition of going home so that when in this second life he came home in the real sense, his feelings became mixed.

Jian Chen never forgot his parents' reaction as he appeared in front of them, Jian Ran and Jian Wu were really surprised when he saw himself descending from the top of the sky, their shock grew further followed by a sense of haru when they saw the person was their own child.

Jian Ran immediately hugged Jian Chen tightly, his embrace so warm and energetic, showing how great his yearning as a mother was.

Jian Wu was not much different even though he did not hug her directly, he had to lead Jian Rou who was still pensive to see her brother the first time.

"Sorry mom, I just got home..." Jian Chen avenged his mother's embrace.

At least Jian Ran hugged Jian Chen for up to five minutes, the woman barely let go of her embrace if her husband did not remind her.

"Ran'er, Chen'er has just traveled far from outside the province, he may be exhausted, is that so Chen'er?" Jian Wu stroked Jian Chen's head gently.

Jian Chen reacted a little, he did not expect his father to be able to know about it.

"Dad, i..."

The news of the attack on the Qianshan Capital had already been heard throughout the entire mainland of Lightning Dragon Province.

The news was quite shocking to others but the most shocking was the existence of a mysterious swordsman who helped the citizens.

The swordsman was not known by name and background but those who had seen him firsthand recognized how powerful the swordsman was.

One of the famous hallmarks of the mysterious swordsman was that he had a pair of beautiful golden eyes, the same reason made Jian Wu and Jian Ran understand that it was the deed of his son because in the entire land of the Dragon Empire only Jian Chen had such eyes.

Jian Wu and Jian Ran had realized long ago that his son was very different, mainly due to the fact that since childhood Jian Chen was a baby covered in light.

Jian Chen who wanted to say something finally shut his mouth, sooner or later Jian Chen actually realized this matter would be known to his parents.

Jian Chen would also indeed tell them all of this but not in the near enough time. Jian Chen finally nodded and admitted that he was new from another province.

***

For the next three days Jian Chen continued to be at home, spending all his time with his family.

Jian Chen had not felt this warm happiness for so long but he definitely felt a different figure when he was with his family.

On the other hand, Jian Chen was a little awkward when he met his sister back, the last time the two met when Jian Rou was still a baby.

Jian Rou initially felt unfamiliar meeting her brother but after a few days passed finally the petite girl was able to get along with Jian Chen even slightly acting spoiled.

Jian Rou repeatedly asked to be carried on the young man's back, the little girl did not seem to have expected her brother to have such a handsome face.

"Rou'er, don't bother your brother, let him rest for a while..." Jian Ran reprimanded Jian Rou who wanted to ask in a carried again by his older brother.

"But Mom, I just want to play with Brother..." Jian Rou puffed her cheeks up.

Jian Chen chuckled softly, poking his sister's nose. "It's okay mom, I don't mind if I keep going with Rou'er."

At different times, Jian Ya would sometimes stop by Jian Chen's house, just bringing a parcel or food for her lover.

Jian Chen did not hide his relationship with Jian Ya to his family.

Jian Wu and Jian Ran alone did not seem to be surprised by the fact especially they already knew Jian Ya had already put his heart on Jian Chen a long time ago, it's just that they are still happy when the two of them have expressed their feelings to each other.

Jian Ran even often tempted the girl to call her 'Mother' and forbade calling her 'Auntie' again. Of course it made Jian Ya blush and become misbehaved.

"I think everything's going well, right?" Lily from the inside.

Right now Jian Chen was in his room, staring out the window with his gaze fixated on the night sky.

"Yes, everything went well." Jian Chen replied to the girl before nodding slowly.

In his first life, Jian Chen failed to save his clan as well as his family from the attack of the organization but in this life, he had completely changed everything including successfully protecting everyone he cared about.

Jian Chen did not expect much but he wanted everything to be as calm as tonight when he spent time with his family and loved ones.

Jian Chen realized this was not the end of his problem especially when the next six months there would be a storm crashing his empire back, however at least Jian Chen could feel this peace for a considerable amount of time and could smile within it.
