Eps. 62 — Niu Yuan Condition
Jian Chen actually had no business to enter the private room belonging to the Niu Clan Chief but upon hearing the news Niu Yuan was unconscious made him reflexively follow Miou Lin.
Jian Chen finally reached the room and found that there were two people there, one of them was Meily who was crying near the bed while the other was a man in his 30s who was sobbing while holding Niu Yuan's hand.
Jian Chen guessed the man was the father of Meily as well as the current leader of the Niu Zen clan.
Jian Chen's gaze fell on Niu Yuan who was lying on his bed, Niu Yuan had a pretty face like her daughter Meily even though her face looked pale at the moment, his breathing sounded weak and cold sweat poured down his body.
Miou Lin immediately checked Niu Yuan's condition and was so surprised to find that Niu Yuan's body was very hot and his condition became critical.
Niu Yuan did have an unnatural fever since 2 years ago, this fever is not an ordinary fever that is generally experienced by humans. There were various oddities but definitely Niu Yuan always coughed up blood every day.
“Kak Miou... Meily has a golden orchid please heal my mother..” Meily wiped her tears and tried to give her a gold orchid picked before.
Miou Lin smiled faintly, Meily clearly assumed that her mother had only been exposed to a common cold but Miou Lin did not speak much and still accepted.

Jian Chen nodded. “Maybe I can cure it.”
Niu Zen stood up from his seat then looked at Miou Lin to explain who this young man was, Miou Lin could not tell him any further so he explained that Jian Chen was his business partner.
Niu Zen's gaze returned to Jian Chen, “Young man, can you really cure my wife?”
“I seem to know Mrs Yuan's illness, I know her so maybe I can cure her.”
“Then what is the name of the disease, let us know how to treat it.”
“Compared the name of the disease more precisely explanation and it will take time.” Jian Chen walked up to Miou Lin while whispering something to her.
Miou Lin nodded quickly and immediately followed Jian Chen's orders even though he himself did not understand what Jian Chen was going to plan next.
Niu Zen actually wanted to refuse because he did not know the origin of the young man in front of him but when he saw the confidence of the young man made him obey.
Besides, at this time his wife is in need of help so whatever form it is to cure her then he will follow.
“Already expected, this is indeed not a fever.” Jian Chen muttered softly after checking Niu Yuan's pulse. Jian Chen's hand then turned towards Niu Yuan's stomach and placed his palm on the young mother's stomach.
“What do you do?” Niu Zen asked.
“I will cure him, I must remove the poison in his body..”.
“Poisons?”
Jian Chen nodded before closing his eyes and starting to concentrate. Jian Chen then drained his profound energy throughout Niu Yuan's body.
Niu Yuan slowly felt warmth when Jian Chen touched him.
The warmth did not last for long as suddenly Niu Yuan felt a push wanting to come out of his mouth, he hurriedly got up from his sleep and spewed out a black liquid.
Niu Yuan's body was hot but on the same side his face was not as pale as before, Niu Yuan looked somewhat light.
According to Jian Chen's direction, Miou Lin then gave Niu Yuan the same medicine because the previous medicine had already spewed out during the release of the poison earlier. Now Miou Lin understood the reason he had to concoct the medicine again.
Niu Zen could not help his excitement after seeing that his wife had recovered, he wanted to thank her when suddenly Jian Chen who stood up lost his balance and almost fell down.
“Brother Jian!”
“Brother Jian!”
Meily and Ziyun said simultaneously and directly held onto Jian Chen's body that was about to collapse to the floor. The two of them each held onto Jian Chen's hand.
“You okay?” Meily said worriedly. Jian Chen was his mother's helper he couldn't let Jian Chen do anything.
“Don't worry, I'm just using too much inner power. My body just feels weak.” Jian Chen asked to be occupied in one of the seats.
With his high comprehension using power science in making Jian Chen could remove the poison that existed in every vein of Niu Yuan. As a result the power within Jian Chen was drained a lot after doing that.
The reason Miou Yue and the other healers couldn't cure Niu Yuan was because they didn't realize there was poison in his patient's body.
But not because the ability of the healer was lacking but because the poison in Niu Yuan's body was not an ordinary poison. The poison was embedded faintly in the blood vessels of Niu Yuan.
Jian Chen explained it all to Miou Lin as he asked her.
“So all this time, the fever that Madam Yuan suffered was not a disease but because there was poison?” asked Miou Lin.
Jian Chen nodded, to his knowledge there was only one poison that was difficult to detect even by poison masters, namely the Black Moon Rose poison. This poison will not kill immediately after drinking but it takes a long time until finally it can work in a person's body.
Seeing Meily's mother poisoned like this made Jian Chen understand the circumstances why Niu Meily could die at a young age in Jian Chen's life before.
