Eps. 149 — Sending Ancient Tomb III
"You realize it, don't you, if you don't have those weird eyes of yours, maybe you're a corpse by now." Lily said after Jian Chen had made it through some unseen traps.
If it wasn't for her celestial eyes what Lily said was true. Jian Chen was certain that even the Sky Realm would not be able to break through this ancient meal.
"I didn't expect the traps here to be so deadly, if I hit one of them maybe my body had melted like that..."
Jian Chen had previously tried to activate one of the traps in the tomb by using a stone thrown into the trap.
The result was far from what Jian Chen had expected, after the stone pressed the button there was a green smoke appearing on the walls of the passageway.
The smoke was a very deadly poison and contained high corrosive acid, the stone thrown earlier instantly melted instantly.
Jian Chen could not imagine how if someone stepped on the trap, his body would probably melt and turn into liquid.

Lily grunting. "Yes and stop calling me that again!"

Jian Chen grinned widely, he chose to pretend not to hear the girl grumble.
Jian Chen turned back to stare at the chest that was on the small table in the middle of the room. Jian Chen discovered the same thing: there was a membrane of formation protecting the chest.

The room was now much different, there was a sea of skulls everywhere that filled almost this room.
The skulls emitted a gripping aura, if not for Jian Chen who was used to killing perhaps he would not be at home here.
Jian Chen stepped to where the circular stone was located, he used the light element and appeared nearby.
"The Asura Sword or the Death God Sword, whoever is chosen by it is certain to have a destiny filled with blood and death..." Jian Chen muttered as he read the letters that were on the sword stone.
"Hm, what does it mean that this sword should not be touched?" Jian Chen observed the red-colored sword more thoroughly.
"That's just a figurative word, a pretence, the man who wrote on the stone explained that the sword was so dangerous." Obviously Lily.
Jian Chen narrowed his eyes. "This sword seems almost the same as Ziyun's Ice God Sword..."

"That means this Asura sword is an ancient heirloom sword?!" Jian Chen was startled then reached out his hand intending to take the sword but Lily prevented it.
"This sword you can't touch now, if you hold it then your fate will be the same as those skulls." Lily told. "There is a curse upon the one who holds it, whoever touches it will be sucked into the sword."
"What's? So I can't have it?"
"Actually it could be but I'm sure you won't do it."
Lily's remark made Jian Chen frown, "Do what?"
"Do something I tell you to do and I'm sure you don't want it."
Jian Chen smiled faintly, "can you go straight to his core, maybe I'll consider hearing it first."
Lily sighed before explaining that Jian Chen wanted the sword she had to hand over her body for a while, Lily would try to take the sword when controlling Jian Chen's body.
Of course Jian Chen immediately balked, "It's true, you want my body!?" Accuse Jian Chen.
Lily clucked in annoyance. "I told you you wouldn't want to forget it. And stop accusing me of no-no, this Princess is not willing to control a body like yours!"
Jian Chen scratched his head, on the other hand he was attracted to a sword that matched the Ice God Sword like Ziyun's but on the other hand he was unwilling to stick with Lily's plan.
It could have been that the girl had directly taken over his body when there was a chance, Jian Chen was unwilling to take the risk.
