Eps. 172 — Elements of the World

Jian Chen continued on his way back, as usual when it was getting dark he would stop his entourage and make a bonfire for the night.

The night was getting late, today Jian Chen offered himself to stand guard while the five girls fell asleep near the campfire.

Jian Chen stared at the faces of the five women who were that same size for a moment before closing his eyes slowly, Jian Chen began to practice absorbing the stealth gems of his supplies.

"Sounds like you're more familiar with them now?"

The melodious voice of a female made Jian Chen open his eyes with a shocked expression, he was clearly familiar with the voice.

"Lily, are you awake?!" Jian Chen was enthusiastic.

"Lilly? Who are you calling, huh?!" Lily clucked in annoyance.

Jian Chen smiled awkwardly before entering into his dantian realm, seen when already there the girl in red dress was staring at Jian Chen annoyed.

"You think you're gonna be asleep for years?"

Lily looked at Jian Chen sharply. "You're not happy I woke up now?!"

"It's not like that..." Jian Chen scratched his head. "Because you put a lot of effort into the fight before I think you need a long time to recover your strength."

Lily narrowed her eyes before throwing her face away, "Yes it's true, I did need some time to heal again but I didn't have to fully recover until I had to wake up."

Lily's strength had not fully returned but with her strength that was now enough she opened her eyes from her long sleep.

Lily could see Jian Chen happy when he woke up, the young man seemed to be waiting for him to come to a realization.

"So what do you want to ask, isn't that what brought you here?" Lily folded her hands on her chest.

Jian Chen grinned widely, feeling that his mind had been read by the girl. All this time Jian Chen was curious about the strength of Lily that he unleashed in the ancient tomb.

"I heard you call your techniques an element, but I've never seen any such element?"

"Elements have many kinds in the universe..." Lily did not hesitate to tell Jian Chen about what she knew. He then explained that the element if there are 25 types.

"Twenty-five elements? Isn't that too much?" Jian Chen was surprised.

"It's not too much but you who do not know the original amount, maybe from what you know the elements are only fire, water, earth lightning and so on but it's just a common element possessed by a swordsman."

Elements totaling 25 were found in each class ranging from ordinary class elements, middle class, high class, and lastly rare class elements.

The classes are distinguished by the strength of the element and the amount that it possesses, usually the stronger an element the rarer it is.

One example of ordinary class elements is the fire, wind and similar elements that are commonly owned by warriors while rare class elements such as Lily use, night elements, death and so on. Jian Chen's light element also included a rare element.

Jian Chen was pensive for a while, this signified that Lily's strength was indeed very high as he was proud of.

Lily even explains that she has other elements that are even stronger.

"If I seriously kill that Prince, one swing of my hand is enough to kill them all with the element of my destiny!" Lily said proudly.

"Destiny is an element too?"

"Hmph! Of course, you only know the smallest thing in the universe."

Jian Chen scratched his head, trying to ignore the girl's arrogance. "One more thing I want to know, how do you have so many elements in your body?"

Lily's smile grew wider with her pride. "Of course I have many elements, don't tell me this Princess has one element like the people in your world."

The reason Lily had always referred to Jian Chen's world as a small world was with a pejorative style due to the elemental factor.

While in Jian Chen's world only one element per person, from here already showed the quality of the world the two were far different. Lily was even quite sure, people who had two elements like Jian Chen were extremely rare here.

Jian Chen was completely new to the information, this made him pause for quite a while to ponder things.

Jian Chen did not ask any more after but rather went to his conscious, He looked up at the sky before sighing a long, thin smile engraved on his lips "This world... How wide is it really..."

When it was noon time again, Jian Chen continued on his way until finally their horse footsteps had to come to a halt when in front of him was a river.

To get to the city of Meishan indeed one had to go down this river, Jian Chen and the five twin girls stayed by the river bank waiting for a ship to come.

It didn't take long until one large ship was seen from a distance, it was enough to accommodate five to sixty passengers on it.

The owner of the ship seemed excited when he saw the other passengers, he told his subordinates to pull over the ship.

"We brought the horse, is it okay?"

The ship owner nodded. "The horse is counted with two passengers, for the price per person we take the rate of one silver per individual..."

Jian Chen nodded slowly, throwing a leather pouch containing several gold coins.

The face of the ship owner became enthusiastic to see the golden light shining in his eyes, he then ordered his subordinates to put Jian Chen's party horse into the ship.

There were no passengers on board, the owner of the ship then approached and offered food to Jian Chen's entourage.

"May, give me your best food, price is not a problem..." Jian Chen threw another bag of golden leather, he also paid for the food that would be in the message of his five girls.

"Brother Jian, we have money..." Lan Qiaoqiao looked uneasy and continued to be given by Jian Chen.

"It's okay, just save it for your trip."

Jian Chen sat at one table while his twin girls occupied the other.

Soon the cooking was served by the crew, a steaming roast that smelled tantalizing. Jian Chen licked his lips before starting to eat them.

Unlike Jian Chen's desk which only ordered a few orders, the five Lan brothers were just the opposite, their table looked full of plenty of food until the table became full.

The five twin girls have a lot of appetite.

"Sister Qiao, why are you eating so little?"

Lan Lingling was astonished that her eldest brother had suddenly stopped eating after he had finished one plate of vegetables, whereas the portion of their stomach was usually more than that.

Following Lan Lingling's question, her sisters turned towards Lan Qiaoqiao with the same question in their minds.

Lan Qiaoqiao smiled awkwardly. "I think I'd better cut down on my portion..."

His four sisters looked at each other for a moment, not understanding why Lan Qiaoqiao said so.

"Ehm! I have to manage my meal portions, I don't want my stomach to get fat."

The four Lan brothers instantly choked on their own food, they hurriedly picked up some drinking water.

The four of them were obviously surprised because they had never mentioned the physical affairs let alone the twins, after all even though they ate a lot of the girls' bodies were still fairly slim and ideal for a girl.

The only problem was the appearance of Lan Qiaoqiao, her four sisters instantly turned to the table Jian Chen was eating at, they were quite sure this was related to the young man.

When they ate, the speeding ship stopped again because of another passenger, seen 30 people boarded the ship.
