By the time Jian Chen returned to the inn, Manager Li was already there and waiting for his arrival.
Manager Li had apparently reported that Miou Lin's letter had arrived a few hours ago so he had come here to give it to Jian Chen.
"Thank you, sorry to bother you these past few days." Jian Chen accepted the paper scroll.

Jian Chen then read the scroll while Manager Li bailed to leave the room realizing Jian Chen needed his own room.
Jian Chen's facial features shriveled slightly as one sentence after another in the letter was read, until at the end Jian Chen sighed and shook his head slowly.

There Jian Chen was confused to put his horse but certainly the distance must be far from the ancient tomb because he would infiltrate to enter there.
Jian Chen put his horse on a vast expanse of grass and tied it to a tree, the white rose horse looked excited when it saw the green grass and started eating it.
At least Jian Chen's horse could have been left for the next few days had he been in the ancient tomb for so long.
Jian Chen also made sure that around his horse no ferocious beasts or demons would prey on him. After making sure everything was safe Jian Chen went straight towards the ancient tomb.
In the place of the ancient tomb there are already several groups that come even though the day is still said to be morning. Jian Chen put on a white mask to enter the crowd.
"I heard that in the afternoon Prince Longxia will enter the ancient tomb, so I want to see if he and his troops will make it in there."

Jian Chen discovered that when he entered the ancient tomb, there was a staircase that descended to the bottom of the ground.
At the end of the stairs it looked dark so Jian Chen created balls of light around him like a small sun.
Jian Chen could actually see in the darkness but the light still required timidly there was something dangerous and the light could frighten him.
Usually in this kind of darkness there are always animals or demons that live without the need for light.
Jian Chen started down the stairs and when he got to the end he found a fairly spacious room. Jian Chen's gaze was directed at the red stains on the floor of the room.
The red stain splattered across the room and as it smelled fishy, Jian Chen immediately knew that it was blood.
"I heard that many warriors died here, but I saw nothing harmful..."
Jian Chen had already heard that there were living beings here, and there was a possibility that these creatures were the cause of the many killed.
Jian Chen was about to step forward yet just a few steps he moved suddenly his footing floor shook strongly.

It didn't take long Jian Chen could see his answer when suddenly the floor in front of him became bulging upwards and moved like there was a living being underneath.
Not just one but their number is so many that the previously flat floors are now so big bubbling like a wave.
Jian Chen raised one eyebrow when he recognized the creature. "Of course many die if their opponents are these creatures..."
Jian Chen's memory came back refreshed when he remembered himself in the Academy when he had to fight the earth rat demon alone to save Miou Yue and the others.
The earth rat demon was one of the dangerous demons and lived in groups, so the danger even the lightning wolf was not comparable to them.
