By the time Jian Chen returned to the inn, Manager Li was already there and waiting for his arrival.
Manager Li had apparently reported that Miou Lin's letter had arrived a few hours ago so he had come here to give it to Jian Chen.
"Thank you, sorry to bother you these past few days." Jian Chen accepted the paper scroll.
"Young Master, no need, this is my duty..." Manager Li smiled happily at Jian Chen's attitude towards him.
Jian Chen then read the scroll while Manager Li bailed to leave the room realizing Jian Chen needed his own room.
Jian Chen's facial features shriveled slightly as one sentence after another in the letter was read, until at the end Jian Chen sighed and shook his head slowly.
"Actually what the Liu clan had planned to do so far..."
From Miou Lin's letter it was said that the situation of the Qianshan Capital was still in a state of peace it was just that there was an awkwardness from the Liu clan. The clan closed itself from the outside like the Niu clan, visitors and merchants were forbidden to enter there by them.
This made Miou Lin so difficult to find more information about the Liu clan but the girl would try her best to scrape the information because Miou Fan was actually assigning it.
Jian Chen massaged his head, he could only hope that whatever major events later in the capital, the Jian clan was not involved in it.
Since the letter from Miou Lin had already arrived then there was no other reason Jian Chen was in Daiji city. Jian Chen planned to leave tomorrow but before leaving the city, he would browse through the ancient tomb.

The next day, Jian Chen first said goodbye to Manager Li because the man had served him during his time in this city. He also said goodbye to the innkeeper.
"Young Master, may your journey reach your destination..." Manager Li handed the white rose horse to Jian Chen back.
Jian Chen nodded, he mounted his white horse then spurred him away from Daiji city, Jian Chen's direction was slightly different as he was about to stop by the ancient tomb.
There Jian Chen was confused to put his horse but certainly the distance must be far from the ancient tomb because he would infiltrate to enter there.
Jian Chen put his horse on a vast expanse of grass and tied it to a tree, the white rose horse looked excited when it saw the green grass and started eating it.
At least Jian Chen's horse could have been left for the next few days had he been in the ancient tomb for so long.
Jian Chen also made sure that around his horse no ferocious beasts or demons would prey on him. After making sure everything was safe Jian Chen went straight towards the ancient tomb.
In the place of the ancient tomb there are already several groups that come even though the day is still said to be morning. Jian Chen put on a white mask to enter the crowd.
"I heard that in the afternoon Prince Longxia will enter the ancient tomb, so I want to see if he and his troops will make it in there."
"Hush... Of course it could, his army alone was strong let alone his personal bodyguards who had high cultivation, the Demon Sword Swordsman would have been able to conquer this tomb with his strength..."
Jian Chen frowned upon hearing the whispers of conversation from the group around him, only to find out that the prince of this province was going to enter the tomb now.
Jian Chen did not think of it any further, he continued to step up until the distance with the ancient tomb door already visible, no one entered from the group around him, he continued to step up, Jian Chen guessed the groups were waiting for the arrival of the Prince's entourage.
'Hm, it seems like the situation can still be controlled...' Jian Chen looked at the ancient tomb guards for a moment before quietly pouring a deep energy into his two hands.
"Elemental Light — World Without Light!"
Jian Chen absorbed the entire surrounding light on both of his hands, the profound energy that Jian Chen used was large enough that the radius was almost half a kilometer.
Jian Chen could hear the cries of those around him who felt that he had lost his sight. It was indeed so dark that Jian Chen's technique one could assume that he had been blind.
Without thinking of those cries Jian Chen instantly slipped the ancient tomb without anyone noticing it.
The darkness that Jian Chen had left behind shortly disappeared followed by the surroundings that were seen back. The warriors became confused and a little afraid when they felt the darkness, they were even a little claustrophobic to take a breath in.
The groups began to speculate what really happened because they had only first sensed such a phenomenon, the most worried thing was that the phenomenon had been caused due to the ancient tombs that were near them.
Some groups even left the location immediately because they thought that the darkness was a warning from an ancient tomb.
Following the first one, the other groups immediately followed leaving the place until finally there was no group around there and left only the guards who broke out in cold sweat because they could not leave the location at will.

Jian Chen discovered that when he entered the ancient tomb, there was a staircase that descended to the bottom of the ground.
At the end of the stairs it looked dark so Jian Chen created balls of light around him like a small sun.
Jian Chen could actually see in the darkness but the light still required timidly there was something dangerous and the light could frighten him.
Usually in this kind of darkness there are always animals or demons that live without the need for light.
Jian Chen started down the stairs and when he got to the end he found a fairly spacious room. Jian Chen's gaze was directed at the red stains on the floor of the room.
The red stain splattered across the room and as it smelled fishy, Jian Chen immediately knew that it was blood.
"I heard that many warriors died here, but I saw nothing harmful..."
Jian Chen had already heard that there were living beings here, and there was a possibility that these creatures were the cause of the many killed.
Jian Chen was about to step forward yet just a few steps he moved suddenly his footing floor shook strongly.
Jian Chen's eyebrows shot up, he felt familiar with the situation but forgot when to feel it.
It didn't take long Jian Chen could see his answer when suddenly the floor in front of him became bulging upwards and moved like there was a living being underneath.
Not just one but their number is so many that the previously flat floors are now so big bubbling like a wave.
Jian Chen raised one eyebrow when he recognized the creature. "Of course many die if their opponents are these creatures..."
Jian Chen's memory came back refreshed when he remembered himself in the Academy when he had to fight the earth rat demon alone to save Miou Yue and the others.
The earth rat demon was one of the dangerous demons and lived in groups, so the danger even the lightning wolf was not comparable to them.
Jian Chen instantly drew his sword as the earth rat demon started moving towards him quickly. Jian Chen's sword had already flowed in profound energy and turned it into energy.
Slowly the blue dust appeared on Jian Chen's sword and surrounded his sword, Jian Chen used the ice element to face them.
Actually the ice element technique used to this sword was the technique that Ziyun had used, Jian Chen unintentionally looked at it then studied it with his understanding in using the light element.
