Jian Chen actually wanted to take Ziyun and Meily to the Academy but on his way he was approached by a maid girl who whispered something in his ear.
This made Jian Chen have to leave Ziyun and Meily before reaching the Academy. "You two go to the Academy first, I have some business with someone."
"I understand Brother Jian, I will wait for you there..." Ziyun nodded then then pulled Meily's hand which blushed slightly as Jian Chen stroked the tip of her head.
After the two of them left, Jian Chen followed to the maiden servant earlier who brought her to the center of the Miou clan Association that was in the capital.
The association in the Capital branch was huge and was one of the best-selling shops here, Jian Chen was taken to a special room, when he found that there were women waiting in the room.
It had been almost three years of not meeting, Jian Chen could finally see again Miou Lin, he said, the girl looked even prettier the last time Jian Chen remembered and the difference from her now was that Miou Lin's hair was seen cut to shoulder.
"Miss Lin, you're getting pretty..." Jian Chen chuckled.
"Young Master Jian is that a compliment? After not looking at each other for a long time, aren't you the one who experienced a lot of changes?"
As Miou Lin recalled, as he escorted Jian Chen to the port that was in the Lightning Dragon Province, the young man was the same height as him.

Miou Lin had hesitated actually when he briefly saw Jian Chen's face, because after all the young man in front of him had changed a lot.
Which made Miou Lin was convinced because of the golden eyes that the young man had. No one in the Dragon Empire had golden eyes except Jian Chen.
Miou Lin wanted to speak further when a servant came to his private room with a letter.
"Sorry Elder Lin should interrupt your conversation. There is a letter from His Majesty the Emperor that must be sent immediately..." The waiter smiled awkwardly as he realized he had entered at the wrong time.
"It's okay, can you give me the letter immediately..."
The waiter gave his secret letter before resigning while Miou Lin opened and read the contents first.
After a while of reading her letter, the girl let out a long sigh, her facial features contrasting inversely with before.
Jian Chen who had been observing earlier could not ignore the girl's expression any longer. "Is there something Miss Lin?"
Miou Lin rubbed her face before nodding slowly. "Your Majesty the Emperor changed his meeting plans, saying he was going to the Association instead of me going to the palace."
Jian Chen frowned, he did not find there was any problem from the news.
Miou Lin smiled faintly, he realized Jian Chen's incomprehension.
"Brother Jian, do you know about the Qilin Empire?"
"Hm, isn't that our neighboring Empire?"
Miou Lin nodded, "Lately there's been a problem from the government regarding the empire, the reason there's been a pent-up conflict going on."
The Qilin Empire was one of the four empires that existed in the eastern continent other than the Dragon Empire.
The four empires were the Dragon Empire, Phoenix, Qilin and lastly the Tortoise. In addition to the four Empires there were also five countries formed in the Eastern Continent.
The Dragon Empire is arguably the weakest empire among the four regarding martial arts.
