Eps. 186 — Liu Clan Attacks II

The night sky was so bright with stars and moons dotting the sky, the night was as beautiful as it brought calm to who looked at it but not to the Jian clan residents.

Ever since the sun set, the Jian clan residents felt a sense of uneasiness that out of nowhere, their minds and hearts were filled with unease.

Jian Ran and Jian Wu were the ones who sensed it, their little baby since just now kept crying loudly.

"Is Rou'er still crying, Ran'er?" Jian Wu came out of his house, approached his wife who was on the porch of the house still busy calming their little daughter.

"My husband you're awake." Jian Ran felt guilty, "sorry I still can't afford to be a good mother."

"Hhhh, it's not your fault. I just can't sleep tonight, my heart has been filled with anxiety since..."

Jian Ran turned to his husband. "Actually I feel that way too, my husband, and perhaps Rou'er feel the same way. He never cried like this."

Jian Wu sighed, his premonition suddenly bad as if something was about to happen to his family.

"My husband, is Chen'er okay now..." Jian Ran looked at her husband deeply.

"He'll be fine..." Jian Wu pulled his wife's body in his arms, stroked the girl's back and kissed Jian Rou's forehead which was still wriggling in tears.

Jian Wu looked up at the night sky, trying to see the beautiful full moon but all he found was someone floating in the sky.

Jian Wu's expression became tense, his breathing became irregular but before he wanted to say anything, a loud explosive sound rang out from the center of the clan.

The sound came from the clan gate that was successfully broken down, in the aftermath of the explosion thousands of people in black uniforms suddenly entered the clan with weapons.

"Assaults! The attack! The Jian Clan was attacked!"

The officers guarding the clan's borders beat the bells loudly, the sound of the bells chiming repeatedly hinting at a indeed dangerous situation.

The surrounding residents needed some time before digesting the situation when they saw some swordsmen in black uniforms suddenly attacking the officers of the Jian clan.

The situation quickly turned into a huge mess, the soldiers in black uniforms not only attacked the local residents and even destroyed the surrounding houses.

It was more clearly visible from above, where Jian Fengxa's residence was located whose house was on high.

Jian Fengxa's body trembled when he saw the Liu clan's army enter his clan like the flood of a broken dam.

He realized he had made a big mistake because he did not evacuate the population faster.

Not to mention when his gaze fell into the sky, he could see there were three warriors floating about. They did not join the war, instead impressed to watch the attack happen.

Jian Fengxa of course instantly knew that that person was the three Celestial Realm warriors at intent. Those at the top seemed to display his strength that the victory of the Jian clan was indeed absolutely impossible.

Even so he had no time to calm his heart, Jian Fengxa then ordered the Jian clan warriors who had previously gathered near his residence to hold back some enemy troops as strong as they could.

"Klan Jian is really in danger..." Someone appeared behind Jian Fengxa.

"Dad." Jian Fengxa bowed respectfully as Jian Ya's grandfather, Jian Mo, appeared.

Jian Mo was actually doing closed-door training but since he knew there would be another attack on his clan, he went out and intended to help even ready to sacrifice his life.

"We can't win this war or defend the clan, all we can do is evacuate the inhabitants out of the clan's territory immediately!"

Jian Mo looked up at the sky and smiled faintly. "I will hold many enemies and be the center of their attention. The rest I leave to you Fengxa."

"But dad, that's..." Jian Fengxa tried to hold back Jian Mo's footsteps.

"We don't have much time, silence doesn't change anything. My life from the very beginning was already at stake to save the Jian clan, I will not regret dying where I was born..."

Jian Mo did not wait any longer, he directly moved towards the Liu clan army and killed it in a single slash.

Jian Fengxa bit his lips, he could not stay silent for granted, Jian Fengxa ordered his clan Elders to move with him in helping the fleeing citizens.

Jian Ya closed her eyes, hoping that everything that was happening in front of her was just a dream. He is currently on the roof of the building to see clearly the situation.

In reality, reality cannot be avoided even if we turn away, the incident of the Jian clan attack actually happened now on a scale more terrifying than the previous attack.

This attack was beyond his clan's expectation because they previously thought the Liu clan would take longer considering they were deploying an army of this magnitude.

Since time could not be repeated as well as regret was always at the end, Jian Ya immediately moved to one of the Jian clan warriors who was fighting with the siege of the enemy forces.

The arrival of Jian Ya aided the clan swordsman in dominating the fight, Jian Ya then used her agile sword technique to have the Liu clan's army encircling him repulsed.

Jian Ya continued to make his opponent cornered until slash after slash filled his opponent's body, he drained a huge amount of inner power making his opponent lose at once so unconscious.

"Miss Yes, thank you for your help..."

Jian Ya nodded, "We don't have much time, quickly save the residents first!"

After speaking so Jian Ya immediately moved to help the other swordsman while the person who was saved was trying to help the surrounding residents.

The only place that the Jian clan residents thought of when they heard the word evacuate was the place behind the mountain before. They started running in that direction.

Jian Ya did not blame it because for now the citizens had to run first from the battle area.

One thing Jian Ya was grateful for was that the Liu clan troops did not target the population first but the warriors who had mastered martial arts.

The three Celestial Realm warriors were also still unmoving, so Jian Ya could focus on fighting and saving the residents that were within his reach.
