Eps. 90 — Ice Golem
Jian Chen cleared his sword after taking every single gem from the gorilla he killed, he then continued his journey back after being restrained by the gorilla attack earlier.
Two hours later Jian Chen arrived at his destination, a large cave where there was an ice gate.
After entering the Golden Light God realm, Jian Chen wanted to make sure in advance of something that made him curious lately. Jian Chen was certain that there must be something behind the ice gate.
Jian Chen created 6 balls of light that floated around his body, useful in addition to illuminating his surroundings also made his body warm. After which Jian Chen started to step inside.
The cave was clearly pitch-black and cold, for ordinary people they would not be able to enter it.
The temperature further decreased as Jian Chen had been in the depths of the cave until his steps came to a halt when he arrived at the ice gate.
Jian Chen used to not destroy this gate because of his weak cutivation but now, Jian Chen was confident of being able to destroy it.
Jian Chen gathered his profound energy on his right fist before turning it into energy, Jian Chen's fist instantly glowing gold. Jian Chen swung his fist at the ice gate.
BOOM!!
Such a powerful explosive sound rang out making the cave tremble for a moment, this happened due to Jian Chen's fist of light that could produce an explosion when it hit its target.
Jian Chen smiled in satisfaction as the ice gate finally collapsed and the gate bounced back.
As he thought inside the gate it would get narrower, Jian Chen was instead startled by something that did not cross his mind. Jian Chen found a large building in the cave that even the building looked like a huge ice palace.
The floor of the palace was so shiny like glass, Jian Chen had to drain the power in his legs so as not to slippery and fall slipping.
Putting aside his coldness, Jian Chen was stunned for a moment, his eyes unblinkingly looking at the beautiful palace. After all the palace in front of him was completely made of ice as a whole.
Jian Chen stepped forward and opened the main door of the palace, it did not freeze like the previous gate so even with a small force it could open by itself.
Inside the palace was just an empty room with nothing but on the front wall there was an altar that glowed bluish.
Jian Chen was about to approach him when suddenly from the floor appeared a large chunk of ice, Jian Chen jumped back and became alert, his sword was already drawn from the scabbard.
The ice chunks were originally just like ordinary ice cubes but something happened inside.
The chunks of ice soon cracked slowly and as one by one the cracks grew, from within the chunks of ice, out came large living creatures that had blue eyes.
Jian Chen's eyes widened looking at a golem formed from ice, the golem was 10 meters tall as well as its body was huge and looked strong.
Jian Chen still understood the situation when the ice golem suddenly attacked him with both of his ice hands.
Before the golem's hand hit him, Jian Chen's body had already disappeared and appeared not far from him. The sound of a bang filled the ceiling of the palace as the golem's hand hit the floor and damaged it.
Jian Chen gulped, if he had moved too late he might have turned into a lump of meat.
Jian Chen saw the movement of the ice golem was slow so Jian Chen could still think of a way to defeat him.
The bitter reality felt by Jian Chen when his sword swing was like it was clashing with extremely strong steel, Jian Chen had already coated his sword with deep strength, not expecting his sword to be unable to cut the golem.
“Obviously this golem is made of ice but why is it almost the same hard as iron.”.
Jian Chen was not discouraged, with the light element in his sword he tried to return.
Jian Chen's light sword managed to pierce through the golem's body as it contained a hot temperature but after cutting off one of the golem's hands until it fell to the floor, something unique suddenly happened.
Around the hand of the slashed golem slowly appeared the white mist surrounding it, the mist was a very cold mist and could freeze anyone who touched it.
When the fog disappeared, the hand of the previously cut golem was already intact again.
Jian Chen's eyes glared, not at all expecting the golem made of ice stone to regenerate quickly.
“Then how about this.” Jian Cheng drained a large amount of deep power on his sword, from Jian Chen's lips appeared a white steam. “Crescent Sword Technique ~ Sky Horizon!”
Jian Chen swung his sword into the empty air which instantly appeared a silvery-colored sword energy.
The sword energy hit the ice golem body and caused a great explosive force, after the smoke of the explosion was gone, the ice golem body was no longer there and replaced with chunks of ice scattered on the floor.
Jian Chen breathed a sigh of relief. Although regenerated but when his body was smashed into pieces like that it was impossible for his golem to live anymore.
At least that was what Jian Chen thought but he clearly underestimated the ice golem.
Just five seconds relieved, the body of the golem that was smashed into pieces suddenly one by one moved and gathered to one point.
Jian Chen could see like a puuzle, the chunk of ice was reassembling the limbs of the ice golem, it didn't take long until the golem's limbs had been intact again.
The icy golem stomping onto his two large arms on the floor signified his bad mood, making a strong tremor on the palace walls.
Jian Chen's face deteriorated, whatever the golem did was definitely not a good thing.
Without waiting for anything to happen, Jian Chen stuck the white fang sword onto the floor before pouring a huge amount of power into his two hands.
The profound energy that Jian Chen was flowing through was enormous as it was related to the change in the type of elements.
Jian Chen brought the two palms closer in front of him then concentrated the energy on one point. A small beam of light appeared and formed a small cube of light.
Jian Chen directed the cube of light at the golem, in one blink the eye the cube of light had disappeared from his hand moving places to the golem it was, in the blink of an eye the cube of light had disappeared from his hands, the cube had already grown and locked the golem inside.
In addition to being large, the cube imprisoned the golem.
Jian Chen drained a huge amount of energy within again. “Elemental Light ~ Prison Cube Light!”
The cube that locked the golem suddenly shone so bright that the golem inside felt a great heat. Jian Chen roasted the golem, in a short time when the light dimmed back, the ice golem was gone, melting and the water turned into steam that fused with the air.
