Amel pulls Rendi away from Friska. “Sister, I'll wait on the balcony. You two talk together,” Amel said after they were all in Sofi's room. He wanted to give Rendi and Friska a chance to solve both of their problems.

Friska seemed to be staring at the two of them.

“Ngak. You have to stay here,” said Rendi firmly.

“Kak, I beg you. Friska will not be free to speak if I am here,” pinta Amel with a pleading face.
