Amel shook his head slowly. "Amel should go home. There are still school assignments that Amel must work for," declined Amel.

"You can play here and go home early."

"Other times, brother. Amel's holiday will stay here."

"Yes already. Let me take you home." Rendi took Amel out of her room.

"Wait a minute, brother." Amel held Rendi's hand which was about to pull her.

Rendi looked back. "Why? Have you changed your mind?"

Amel held Rendi's hand. "The hands of the Lakakak must be treated first."

Rendi turned to her injured hand then smiled and gently stroked Amel's face. "Yeah dear." Amel's face flushed upon hearing Amel's new calling.

Amel then invites Rendi to sit on the edge of the bed. "Sister sit here first, I want to take the medicine box below."

"No need, in this room there is a medicine box. You can take it in the nightstand closet, it's in the bottom drawer." Rendi pointed at the closet she was referring to.

Amel walked quickly to the closet and looked down when he opened the bottom drawer after he took the medicine box.

Amel placed the medicine box on the nightstand next to the bed. "Follow me a minute." Amel pulls Rendi's uninjured hand and Rendi only complies to Amel. He followed Amel from behind.

Amel enters the bathroom and stands right in front of the bathroom sink. "Maybe it's gonna hurt, but you have to hold on a little." Amel looked at Rendi for a moment.

"Yeah" said Rendi smiling.

Amel directs his hand to the water that has come out of the sink faucet after he makes sure the water temperature is appropriate. Several times Rendi was seen grimacing, enduring the pain. Maybe because Rendi was grasping the broken glass so firmly that it left a deep enough wound. After finishing cleaning the wound, Amel took a clean small towel available in the bathroom and dried the wound carefully.

Rendi only looked at Amel's face which seemed to focus on cleaning his wounds. What he was thinking about right now was his happiness to have known Amel's true feelings. He ignored the wounds on his hands.

Amel walked out of the bathroom, having finished drying Rendi's hands. He and Rendi sat back on the edge of the bed then opened the medicine box and sprayed an antiseptic spray onto Rendi's hand. After it dried, he wrapped Rendi's hand in a medical bandage.

"Sister must see a doctor to be treated properly. Amel just prevents the wound from being infected." Amel lifted his face and looked at Rendi after finishing dressing her wound.

Rendi looked at her bandaged hand and was still held by Amel. "No need, this is enough."

"Do I have to drag Brother to the doctor first Brother want to recede?" Amel stared angrily at Rendi who was not listening to her words.

Rendi laughed a little. "Why are you so mean to me?" Amel stared intently at Rendi when he saw her serious speech was actually responded with a joke by Rendi. Maybe he was joking around like this.

Seeing Amel looking angry, Rendi said, "Yes dear, tomorrow accompany me to the doctor. It's already night. I'll have to take you home, too."

"Yes, I went straight to school here."

"No need. I'll take you to school tomorrow." Rendi stood up, "let me drive you home."

Amel, who had taken his clothes and bag, walked after Rendi. They stepped down the stairs and walked into the living room. It looks like there is already a mama Rendi there along with Sofi and Friska. They are chatting.

"Ma, Rendi wants to take Amel home, it's night." Rendi stopped in the family room.

They looked at it simultaneously. Lilian turned her eyes to Amel. "Would you like to go home now, Mel? Not just staying here? Let's take it the same tomorrow morning, Mr. Iyan."

Amel smiled stiffly. "Thank you, Auntie, but Amel just went home. Amel has to do schoolwork that he wants to collect tomorrow" Amel declined.

"Sofi, lend me your jacket to Amel, it's late. The night wind was not good for Amel," Lilian said as she looked at Sofi.

"No need to Ma. In the car there is a Rendi jacket," said Rendi.

Rendi's mother turned her gaze to Rendi's hand wrapped in bandages. "Your hand why Ren?"

Rendi looked at his hand. "So Rendi accidentally fell into a glass, Ma. When Rendi wants to try to clean it, Rendi's hand is hit by broken glass, but it has been treated with Amel," said Rendi lying.

"You have to be careful, Ren. Not yet the wound at that time you healed, have added new wounds again," said Lilian.

"Yes Ma. Rendi will be careful from now on Tomorrow Rendi will go to the hospital."

"Why don't you call doctor John home?"

"No need to Ma. Rendi wants to go to the hospital as well as the follow-up examination Rendi that Mama requested at that time."

"Well, I'll call Dr. Jhon to prepare all the tests for you tomorrow." Rendi nodded her sign approvingly.

"Yes, be careful on the road, Mel" Lilian said.

"Yes, Aunty, Amel went home first." Lilian nodded.

"You went straight home Ren ran out of Amel," Lilian said.

"Yes, Ma." They walked out followed by a sharp gaze from Friska.

In the car, Rendi continued to hold Amel's hand and did not want to let go of the item for a second. His hand was injured. Rendi was shadowing if only Amel had directly gone from his house and did not return to his room. Raka must have taken this opportunity to keep Amel away from her.

"If you're tired, you can sleep, I'll wake up if you're late."

Amel nodded. He leaned his body and closed his eyes. He felt very tired today. Not just the physical, but the heart.

The car stops when it arrives in front of Amel's boarding house, Rendi wakes up Amel, then gets off the car. "You take a break. Don't think of anything else." Rendi drove Amel to the front door of his boarding house.

"Yeah, tell me that you're home" replied Amel.

"From now on you can't leave, let alone stay away from me like Mel." Rendi looked at Amel who was looking down because he avoided her gaze.

"Sorry, brother," said Amel slowly.

Rendi then gently rubbed Amel's head. "Come in, it's night. I have to go home."

Amel then raised his face. "Yes, Brother be careful on the road." Rendi nodded then walked into the car and left Amel's boarding house.

Amel put down his school bag and did his schoolwork. When she was done, Amel sent a message to Rendi to ask if she had arrived or not. After waiting for quite a long time, there has been no news from Rendi. Amel decided to just sleep, maybe Rendi was also asleep he thought.

Amel was carried away when his phone rang. He wraps up the phone without seeing who called him.

"Haloo, who is this?" amel asked with a distinctive hoarse voice of waking up.
