Love For Him

Love For Him
Studying abroad

Amel showed his pouting face. “Besok sister want to pick me up or I'm here?”

“I'll take you to school,” said Rendi while sitting on the sofa.

“Good.” Amel followed Rendi sitting next to him.

Rendi and Amel turned to a table near the bed when they heard Rendi's phone ringing.

Rendi stood up and took her phone. Rendi picked up the phone and walked a little away from Amel. Rendi was seen looking at Amel for quite a while while receiving a call. His face turned serious. It didn't sound clear what Randy was talking about. After finishing Rendi walked again to the sofa.

“Mel, after graduating High School you will study what majors?” asked Randy suddenly.

Amel frowned as Rendi asked that. “Entah, Amel is still confused. Isn't that the one who graduated soon? What will my sister major in?” Amel looked at Rendi who seemed to be thinking about something.

“Papa asked me to take Business and Management in the UK,” said Rendi with a lethargic face.

“Means after Sister graduated High School, Brother directly flew to England?” There was an unwilling tone in Amel's words.

“No, faster than that. After the end of school exams, I will fly there. My parents will take care of everything here, including taking my alms later,” continued Rendi who was staring meaningfully at Amel.

Amel was a little surprised to hear the words of Rendi. “Means not to 2 months away Brother will go?” There is a feeling of unwillingness when it comes to knowing that Rendi will be leaving in the near future.

Instead of answering, Rendi asked Amel. “Do you have no intention to study abroad?” ask Rendi expectantly.

Amel shook weakly. “My mother will not be able to finance my college if abroad,” said Amel slowly.

“My papa friends have campuses in England. Although not the best campus in the UK, but quite good compared to the campus here. I can take care of the scholarship program for you if you want. How?” tawar Rendi's.

Rendi really hopes that Amel can come with him to the UK, although it can not be one campus, but at least not far from him.

Amel seemed to be thinking hard. “Sorry brother, I can't,” reject Amel.

“Why?” asked Rendi with a frowned.

Amel looked at Rendi who looked disappointed that she could not go with him. “I can't leave my mother and sister here.”

“Alright, I won't mean you then, but can you wait for me until I graduate?” There was a feeling of worry in Rendi's heart as she imagined that she would be far away from Amel.

Amel smiling. “Take it easy. I will wait until Brother returns,” said Amel to calm Rendi.

“Are you sure you won't turn away from me? Because later we will be separated in a long time.”

“I'm just worried that Brother will mengelupain me later there. I'm afraid Big Brother will be enamored with the bule girl and decided to stay there,” said Amel in a joking tone.

Rengi ruffled Amel's hair, upon hearing Amel's ridiculous words. “No, believe me, but if one day I suddenly disappear or forget you, do not even recognize us when we meet. You can't leave me. You should try to remind me of you. You also have to keep your promise to marry me,” said Rendi with a serious look.

Amel frowned. “Why brother says like that?” is it the brother who will stay away from me later?”

Rendi shook her head. “Nothing. I just want you to promise me. Whatever happens to me later. You can't leave me.”

“I don't want to. It's the same Lakak intends to leave me.” Amel threw his gaze to the side.

Rendi looked at Amel with a sad look. “Alright, I won't force you to promise. If you can't wait for me. You just tell me later. I'll let you go and won't catch you again.”

Amel felt uncomfortable when he heard Rendi's words. She feels a little strange. Usually he would force her to promise until Amel agreed, but this time he was easily willing to let go of Amel. It was like she was hiding something from him.

“Did you love me again? Or is there something else in your heart now?” amel asked with a slightly trembling voice.

“Mana may. I love you so much, but I realize, I can't take you if you just don't want to be with me.”

“Alright, I will promise never to leave Brother, no matter what will happen later, even though Brother does not love me again, I will remain beside Brother, as it is now, like this,” said Amel while hooking his little finger they both.

“Can I see your family before I leave the country?”

“For what?” ask Amel astonished.

“Nothing. I just want to get to know your family.”

“Good. How about 3 more weeks. I plan to go home to see my mom.”

“Alright then.” Rendi stands. “Ayook I'll take you home now.”

Amel nodded and walked out of Rendi's room.

*******

“There is a need for what you want to see me early in the morning, asked Amel when he was in front of Devan who looked busy with a laptop in front of him. Devan was sitting at a long table in the library.

Devan averted his gaze, upon hearing Amel's voice. “Sit!” devan's orders when he saw Amel seemed to be just standing in front of him.

Amel sat on the last seat, far away from Devan. Devan raises his eyebrows next door. “Why are you sitting so far away? I won't bite you. Sit in front of me!” said Devan who had turned his eyes back to the laptop. He seemed to be typing something.

Amel did not speak to Devan. “Here alone sir, there is need what father call me?”

Devan stopped his activities, he looked at Amel with a flat face. “Do you intend to continue acting like this to me Mel?” devan said with sharp eyes.

Amel was slightly surprised as Devan stared intently at him. It was the same gaze they had accidentally met at the cafe back then. “I don't understand what you mean!” Amel shifted his eyes.

“You don't pretend you don't know, I've been quiet all this time, it doesn't mean you can be like this to me. You think I don't know if you keep trying to get away from me. I don't like it if you act like this to me Mel,” Devan said in a heavy voice.

Amel was a little surprised by Devan's words. “I do not understand the words of the father, do you not know that students and teachers should not be too close.”

Devan smiled cynically. “I know that you're just looking for an excuse to get away from me by saying that. Would you keep acting like this, if you knew who I was?”

“Why do you say that? I feel like you know me before?” amel asked suspiciously.

“If we had known each other before, would you have been nice to me?” Devan stared at Amel flat.

Amel seemed confused by hearing Devan's words. “But I have never met the father before.”

”Do you really not recognize me? You even owe me a promise.”

“What promise debt? We didn't even chat before,” asked curious Amel.

“You should remind her yourself, I won't tell you!” devan said with a flat face while turning his eyes to his laptop.
