The smile on Amel's face instantly faded away. “You don't joke, Brother. It's not funny." Amel while looking at Devan with an annoyed expression.

Devan took a step forward, approaching Amel with a slight bow, aligning his face with Amel. “Do I look like I'm joking?” Devan stared into Amel's eyes.

Amel pushes Devan's body slowly when he realizes their face is too close. It was seen Devan's body retreated how many steps when Amel pushed him. “Stop teasing me, Brother. I just forgot when I said it.” Amel looked nervous and his heart was pounding as Devan stared at him from close range.

Devan then stood up straight, so he put it in his pants pocket and said, “Do you plan to renege on the promise you made yourself?”

“Bu-not like that, Brother. We are close to small. I already consider you as my brother. You also know that I already have a boyfriend.”

“But I never thought of you as my sister. I just want to take what should be mine.” Devan looked at Amel with a serious face.

“You don't look at me like that, brother. You gave me goosebumps to know,” said Amel in a loud voice while squinting at Devan.

Devan smiled looking at Amel's pouting face. “Did you also forget, you once said that one day you would repay all my kindness?”

“Can you really do anything?”

Amel nodded steadily. “Of course, so just say that Brother has a request. If I can, I will try to fulfill it,” said Amel while staring at Devan's face.

“Good. I have a request, but I'm not sure if you can fulfill it because I'm going to ask for something very valuable from you.”

Amel laughed broadly then hit Devan's arm. “You are so funny, I almost got fooled by your face. You don't try to joke with me anymore or you'll get angry. If anyone hears it, they may misunderstand. Stop talking nonsense,” said Amel staring annoyed at Devan.

“What is my request too big?”

“Not at all. It's just that your request doesn't make sense. You always teased me with your weird words. I'm a big boy now, brother. Stop saying things like.”

Devan ruffled Amel's hair. “You still don't understand." Devan sighed, "but, I see that there's a slight change in you," Devan continued.

“Of course I've changed. Brother doesn't see me getting pretty?” Amel looked at Devan with a radiant face, sparkling eyes not forgetting his sweet smile.

Devan pushed softly on Amel's face with his hand. “Do not show such a face. I don't like to see it.” Devan's heart suddenly beat fast when he saw Amel's face earlier, especially when Amel smiled sweetly at him. He felt his ears and face warming.

“Why? Do I look ugly?” Amel showed his pouting face.

Devan nodded. “Iyaa looks ugly once, so never show such a face again, let alone to others.”

“What is your attitude after a long time without seeing me? Makes me upset,” said Amel with a ketus tone.

Devan gently ruffled Amel's head. “Do not get angry. How about we take a walk? I'll buy you ice cream? You still like ice cream, right?”

“What business do you have?”

“You sick?” ask Devan quickly.

Devan smiled obliquely, the corner of his mouth twitching. “Looks like I came late,” said Devan stared down for a bit, then raised his face back. “But no problem. I just need to get everything back to where it was,” he said while looking at Amel meaningfully.

Devan shook his head strongly. “It's okay. I'll drop you off.”

Arriving at the hospital Amel directly to Rendi's room. He walked with Devan. Arriving in front of Rendi's room, Amel opened the door slowly. It looks like Rendi is leaning on the patient's bed using a pillow. He did not realize his arrival because he was focusing on the phone in his hand.

“Kak,” call Amel while walking inside.

Rendi raised her head when she heard Amel's voice. “Why can you come with him?” asked Rendi with a surprised face when she saw Devan walking behind Amel.

“I purposely drove him here to make sure he was safe until his destination,” Devan replied before Amel opened his voice.

Rendi looked at Devan sharply. He felt that Devan was deliberately provoking his anger. “You don't have to bother dropping off my girlfriend. I can ask my driver to pick her up,” replied Rendi in a cynical tone.

“Then I go home first. I feel my arrival is not welcome here,” said Devan as he stroked Amel's head gently.
