Fears of Rendi

Lilian seemed to be standing up, she walked towards the door of the ICU Room that was closed. They all dissolve in each other's minds none of them make a sound. 30 minutes passed, not a single doctor came out of the ICU room.

Not long after, the door opened. “Jhon how is Rendi?” Lilian immediately asked, as Doctor Jhon had just opened the door.

“Rendi is not yet conscious, Doctor is still checking it out. We will conduct a follow-up inspection. It's gonna take a while. While you wait above,” sarab doctor Jhon when you see anxiety and worry on their faces.

“Alright, let us know if Rendi is conscious,” Lilian said passed when she saw the nod from doctor Jhon.

The three of them left the ICU room to the VVIP treatment room on the top floor.

“We better eat first. Only after that we rest,” said Lilian while heading to the sofa that was right in front of the patient bed.

They fill their stomachs in silence. Amel seemed to have eaten only a little of his food, no different from Lilian. Only Sofi seemed to finish her meal.

“Maa..Did Mama tell papa about sister's condition?” sofi asked after she finished eating.

“Sorry Ma,” said Sofi immediately stood up and slept in a bed provided for the patient's family. She was afraid that her mother would grow angry if she denied it.

“Mama wants to go out first. You wait here with Sofi. Someone wants to take care of mama below,” Lilian said while standing. Lilian then walked out of the room when she saw Amel nod.

Sofi just silently looked at Amel who looked shaken after knowing that Rendi had been in a coma before. There was a sense of guilt when he accidentally said it, he just panicked so subconsciously said that to his mother.

After crying, Amel fell asleep on the sofa. He didn't realize that Lilian had entered from earlier. “Sof.. wake up,” said Lilian while shaking the body of her son who was still asleep.

“Why Ma?” sofi said when she saw her mother appeared to be at her bedside. The time has already shown at 8pm. He slept for an hour.

“You are already aware. You want to come with your mom not down?” lillian asked who had started walking towards the door.

“Kerus Amel how Ma?” sofi asked as she watched Amel fall asleep on the sofa.

Lilian stopped and turned to Sofi “Leave it first. Below is Friska. Mama's afraid they're arguing, if they ever meet again. Wait for Friska to finish visiting your sister, then you come here again wake up Amel,” Lilian said.

Amel woke up when he heard the door close a little hard. He rolled his gaze across the room, but saw no one in the room. He then walked quickly down.

“Sof wait!” amel yelled after Sofi who had just stepped out of the elevator as she headed to the ICU room.

“What is sister Rendi already aware aunt?” amel asked with a gasping breath. Amel bent down trying to catch his breath.

Lilian nodded. “Iyaa, ayook we enter together,” invite Lilian.

Amel looked silently pecking when he heard Rendi was conscious. “Amel here only. Aunty entered the same Sofi first,” said Amel with a stiff smile on his face.

Lilian's forehead shriveling. “Why? Don't you want to see Rendi?”

“Amel will see brother Rendi later aunty. Amel wants to win himself first,” to Amel.

Lilian nodded. “Good. Mama came in first with Sofi. You're just here. Don't go anywhere,” Pinta Lilian walked into the ICU room together with Sofi when she saw Amel nod.
