Approaching the feast day into the month of Ramadan. Making a pilgrimage becomes one of the habits of some people.

Their families do too. Visit the grave of their late father.

Mother always could not hold back her cries every pilgrimage.

"Your children are getting older. Edelweis helped me take orders for food."

They prayed fervently.

Edelweis shed all his sorrow.

"Sister!" Basil rubbed his brother's back while Amarylis clasped his hands. Trying to quell Edelweis' heart-wrenching cries.

Edelweis's cry this time was heartbreaking. Not as usual.

She wiped her tears repeatedly.

"You don't cry like that! My heart is not strong to hear it. See your brothers are sad too. It is like a great unforgivable disaster. You've got to let your father go!"

The cry of Edelweis grew louder and louder.

Mother hugged Edelweis tightly.

"I'm sorry mom, who's been weighing you down ever since your dad left!"

The tears of Edelweis broke again.

"I don't want to burden you. I want you to be like any other kid. Enjoy your life without burden. But I have no other choice."

Edelweis only shook his head and was unable to say a word. Eyes swollen. His chest was filled with tears. Red nose. His face was filled with tears and snot.

Edelweis himself felt shady that time making him able to let out all his pent-up emotions.

His pain would be a bad thing that befell him. All sadness. All of his negative emotions.

After the nekar place. They stopped by a meatball shop. The shop that they often go to if they make a pilgrimage to the place of the deceased father.

The leaves are not big but clean. The food is also very good.

Meatballs, chicken noodles, various fried foods, lontong that can be eaten with meatballs, rice substitutes. Crackers and fried beans.

Edelweis ordered a bowl of meatballs with two lontongs, one cracker, a pack of fried beans, one bakwan and tofu fried contents.

Basil himself ordered a bowl of meatball chicken noodles. Crackers. Three bakwan, two tofu fill and two fried bananas.

Amaryllis ordered a bowl of meatballs, one lontong, two bakwan and crackers.

Mother herself, ordered meatballs, one fruit and bakwan, crackers. Four pieces of warm tea.

"Mom, I have something to say." Basil opened his voice.

"What's that?"

"I got a freelance job."

"Then?"

"I thought I could help my sister and mother."

"Not bothering the school, ma'am. Online and flexible time."

"If it bothers you, how?"

"I've been living it for six months."

"You're stubborn! I don't want your school to fall apart."

"There's something I'd like to say too, ma'am. Amaryllis opened her voice.

"What's that?"

"My friend signed me up for the model election. I escaped. I got a job as a model."

"You guys are so stubborn! I don't want your school to fall apart."

"I can manage my time, ma'am. You don't have to worry. I'm staying in school. Continuing college and trying to achieve my goals."

"But it's not easy."

"Not easy doesn't mean impossible, ma'am."

Their orders came.

"Basil and I thought that you could get back to work and not have to help you anymore."

"I mean, how?" Edelweis asked in a stinging voice.

"Mother don't have to take orders anymore. Money from me, brother Basil and if brother works I think enough. Why are you working on taking orders again?"

"You're right!" Edelweis nodded his head.

"You agreed?" His mother looked at his eldest daughter's face.

"They can be trusted and always keep their word. As long as they remain in school and promise to continue their studies until completion. I don't think there's any harm."

"If you all insist, what can I do."

"Mother doesn't have to take orders anymore. I'll take the job Ryan has to offer me."

"You're gonna leave your mom and your sisters?"

"I'm not leaving but I'm pursuing my dream job. Once a month I'll call you, mom!"

"All right! If you insist. I won't take orders anymore. I'll arrange for the money you gave me. How's it?"

Edelweis hugged his mother very tightly. Kissing cheeks.

"Thank you, ma'am."

He also kissed his two sisters. Hugged both. Eyes scolding. A clear thread fell slid down both of his cheeks.

"Sister! No cry. We will take good care of Mom. You don't have to worry!"

Edelweis's throat was blocked. His chest was filled with a sense of haru that he could not describe with words.

"I'll achieve my dream!" whispers lirih.
