Rajasa tells his story with Roy.
“I'll get divorced with Edelweis.” Sipping hot cappuccino. When he and Roy spent Saturday afternoon at the coffee shop.
“You're divorced?” Roy sipped hot lemon tea.
Rajasa orders a piece of african gateau while Roy chooses lemon cake.
“You know how she is?”
“You hurt him. You know she's a very sweet and gentle woman.”
“But it can turn into as hard as steel. If hurt.”
“He's just trying to protect himself. Everyone has their own pride. You don't respect it much less. You deliberately hurt her heart.”
“All out of my control. You really can't help me?”
“You know how Edelweis. If you've broken her boundaries and her pride. He cannot compromise. All just to protect his pride.”
“Yeah, I know. However, she is pregnant. My boy. He will separate me from my children. My own feelings for him. Never change.”
“If you love her. Then you won't betray him.”
“It's not that easy. You don't know what the situation is.”
“I'll think of a way to help you. You're not going to Australia? Usually every weekend you go there?”
“I miss my son and wife.”
“Really? Don't you have a girlfriend in Australia?”
“He's very busy. He only lives for himself. Can not be compared with Edelweis.”
“What are you looking for if you know she can't notice you. Moreover having an affair with her ex-lover?”
“Maybe he's my karma. I need it to fill my void. His brain intelligence and skill make love. That's what keeps me with him.”
“Edelweis know about this?”
“You want him to hate me more and more? We're getting a divorce. I'm a normal guy. Where can I get my biological fulfillment if I'm not married or have a boyfriend?”
“You will marry him once divorced?”
“She doesn't want to get married.”
“Wow! Usually women often ask to be married?”
“She's a very independent woman. Freer. Cannot be set let alone have a commitment.”
“I want to order a serving of nachos. You want?”
“Message me a serving of churros. Hot lychee tea sheet.”
“Yeah.”
They continued the conversation.
“I envy seeing you with Angela. Both of you goal couples.”
“I told you. My love journey with Angela is long. Looks like we were meant to be together.”
“Think, me and Edelweis that will end forever.” Rajasa's eyes are heating up.
“Hey! Give Edelweis time. You have to be patient with him. All who started you alone. You're the one who has to finish it. Don't press. Appreciate her. He's injured.”
“Yeah, I know. I was wasting a woman I'd gotten so hard. I just let go. Because of my stupidity.”
“If you are meant to be together. There will be a way for both of you. However, if you are destined to separate. Then there will be something that separates the two of you.”
Rajasa returns to his home after spending the afternoon with Roy.
Edelweiss seemed more comfortable and calm. Focusing his attention on Malika and the baby she contains.
Malika since school has been less fussy. Reduced dependence on the mother and her caregiver. I like to play and make friends. Drawing and coloring. Watching children's videos.
Rajasa grabbed his daughter and kissed her. Put it back and let her daughter continue her activities.
Edelweis was reading a parenting book.
“You busy?” Ask Rajasa.
“What's up?”
“I want to take you out. If you don't mind.”
Edelweis looked at Rajasa's face.
“We're getting divorced. Don't complicate things.”
“If you don't want to. It's okay.”
“Where do you want to go?”
“Buying baby supplies. For our baby.”
“If you want to come with mama and papa go no?”
Malika shook her head.
Edelweis chose to wear a rather loose dress. Dress yellow ivory sleeveless, along the calf. Being choice. Wearing a white cardigan on the outside. Flat shoes are her choice. Because in pregnancy. It is more comfortable to wear flat shoes without the right.
Rajasa himself chose to wear a yellow mustard T-shirt. Combined with her brown cream trousers. Shaving off the hairs growing on his face. Aftershave.
Rajasa drives his vehicle. Coldplay song, fix you soft.
“You really don't want to change your decision?” Ask Rajasa.
“Should ya we talk about this?” Asked Edelweis lazily.
“If we get divorced. We're gonna split up. You're not thinking of a child?”
“All will be different after divorce.”
“For sure. If we divorce, we can respect each other and respect each other's boundaries. I think it's the maturing process of both of us.”
Rajasa parked his car. They came down and entered the mall. Go to a store that sells baby supplies.
They choose a baby box complete with a mattress. Pillow bolsters, bed linen and pillowcase bolsters.
“Buy mosquito nets all ya?” Sahut Edelweiss.
Rajasa nodded his head.
“You must be diligent in replacing it so that it is not dirty.”
“Yeah, don't worry. I'll buy some mosquito nets. So can be replaced often.”
“I think need also toys on top of baby box.”
“Didn't make his eyes jerky?”
“Cooking anyway?”
“I nanya.”
“In my opinion, babies can not control their nerves and motor like adults. They are still affected by stimulants or something that can affect their motor and nerve movements.”
“You mean?”
“I often see babies accidentally widen their eyes because they are affected by what they see. Like when you put your fingers in their noses or in the middle of their eyes. Baby toys that are on top of their box.”
“Then?”
“I'm worried about settling down. Their eyes become squint if it is done daily or often and settle.”
“No need to buy toys that are hung in the box then. I don't want our son to be a squint.”
“Yeah. I prefer to talk to babies. Not all toys can stimulate motor and visual nerve movement. But the baby's response when seeing a toy that rotates. Their eyes by themselves try to follow and become a squint or a whimper. Then this is dangerous for babies.”
“Ok!”
After selecting the box, mosquito nets, bed linen and pillowcase bolsters. They're out of the store. Walk in search of a shop that sells carpets and wall papers.
“I want us to keep a good relationship for the children even though it is officially parted.” Rajasa.
“Yeah, I agree. Like I said. Do not fight for child custody and gono gini. Which is best for the child. That's what we support.”
“Yeah, you're right. I don't mean to fight for child custody or gono gini. I was hoping you'd reconsider everything if I made it harder for our divorce. Want to teach you the consequences.”
“We have children. They will be victims of our selfishness and arrogance. We need to improve our communication and understanding. Not to aggravate or destroy our good relationship.”
“Yeah, I finally realized. I can't force anything on you. I started it all. I'll be responsible for cleaning it up. I won't force you. If you're already uncomfortable with our marriage. Can't trust me anymore. I think we should live each of our lives. Mutual respect and respect.”
“Yeah. Thank you for your understanding. All this is not easy for me. Your support means a lot to me.”
“You're getting married to Ryan. As soon as we get divorced?” Rajasa tries to suppress his jealousy. Suddenly just appeared. Think Edelweis will marry his best friend.
“My community and Ryan have always been good. He understands me and my son very well. Love does not always succeed in maintaining marriage. Communication, understanding, acceptance and loyalty.”
“I didn't mean to defend myself.” Say Rasaja with a hoarse tone. Throat's choked.
“I don't blame you. Logically I understand that your condition is very difficult. I was unable to serve you well considering my condition back then. But emotionally, it hurt me. Even though I understand the cause of the consequences. Still I'm hurt. I love you so much and you betrayed the trust I gave you.”
“If you love me then you won't leave me.”
“That's the same as you wouldn't betray me if you loved me.”
Rajasa.
“I love you. I betrayed you has nothing to do with what I feel for you.”
“Soever I am, leaving you has nothing to do with my love for you. I left you because I was hurt and hurt. Can't accept what you did to me.”
“Yeah, like when I betrayed you. Because we are not connected to each other. I can't delay fulfilling my needs.”
“Yeah. Maybe we are not meant to be together.”
“Maybe not as husband and wife. We can't possibly give up our responsibilities towards our children right?”
“Yeah, you're right. Maybe we're not meant to be together forever as husband and wife. But we will take care of our children as their parents. We will still be a family but with another form.”
“Yeah. More enduring as brotherhood or friendship. There is no divorce. We will always be there for each other to support each other in carrying out our obligations towards children.”
“Maybe we are fail in our marriage but we shouldn’t do the same thing for our divorce.”
“Yeah, our divorce should bring goodness and blessings. Divorce does not mean that our obligations to children are finished or ignored. Relationships that break when we get married. Should be good when divorced.”
“Yeah.”
“We eat first, yuk. I just had a coffee and a snack with Roy. Now my stomach is hungry and wants to eat.”
“How about we eat at our favorite place?”
Rajasa smiled at her smile.
“Yeah, great idea!”
