Their farewell is approaching. Nurmala was feeling restless again. He'll lose Ryan forever once they're apart.

Counting the day of farewells that are getting closer. Her tears often flow.

Ryan often couldn't bear to see it.

“Why are you crying?” Ryan wiped away Nurmala's tears.

“You will be the husband of Edelweis. Have a new family. You're gonna leave me, Amelia and Amanda. Forgetting all of us.”

Ryan hugged Nurmala very tightly.

“Do not like that. You know, I'll always be there for all of you. You'll also find a better partner for you. Who loves you. It could be our divorce. Give your way back to Rajasa.”

“I don't want to go back to him. I love you not him!” Shouted Nurmala frustrated. He hugged and hugged Ryan tightly.

“I won't let you go!” Said half yelling, “I love you!” Exclaims. Forgetting her pride as a woman.

“Don't be like this. You're a woman.” Ryan stroked Nurmala's back comforting her, “You will find someone better than me. I promise!”

“Nothing is better than you!” Nurmala said stubbornly.

“You are being overwhelmed by emotions and feelings. I can't always fulfill your wishes. You will be happier with a man who is much better than me.”

“I reiterate once again!” Sahut Nurmala wiped her tears with the back of her hand, “There is no other man better than you. I am not overwhelmed by emotions or feelings. I really love you so much. I don't want to. And can't lose you. I'm going crazy!”

Nurmala's cry exploded. Ryan tried to calm her down.

“I can't have you two. It's not fair to you two. I don't want you guys to hate each other. I'm in the middle of you two.”

“What did you choose him for? Edelweis already has a husband and children from her husband.”

“His husband betrayed him. I can't trust a woman I love so much to a man who can't keep his loyalty.”

“Please! Don't leave me!”

“I don't want to be selfish let alone greedy. You'd be better and happier without me. Trust me!”

Nurmala's cries are breaking. In vain Ryan persuaded and comforted him.

Women remain women. It has no power. The two of them had to count the days when their separation would occur.

Edelweis himself was impatient to wait for Ryan's divorce to be finalized.

He does not want to discuss Rajasa's threat to him. It's better to wait for Ryan to officially get divorced with their new Nurmala planning everything.

He's probably running with Ryan. Living in the forest with Malika and the baby she contains to avoid Rajasa and the unknown woman often threatens him.

The allotted time had passed but there was no sign of Ryan contacting him.

What happened to Ryan. Edelweis tried to contact him nil.

Edelweis refused to go to Ryan's house.

Up to four months later a piece of baby shower invitation, a four-monthly salvation is delivered to her home.

Phone's ringing. Ryan.

“You have accepted the invitation?”

“Already. Where have you been?”

“I'm not going anywhere.”

“What really happened? You changed your mind?”

“I didn't change my mind. I'll take care of everything. Until a week before I take care of my divorce. Nurmala is vomiting violently. I took her to the doctor and she was declared pregnant.”

“What?”

“I'm sorry.”

“Can we meet?”

“Good. Where?”

“In ordinary place.”

“Good. Dinner time as usual, tomorrow.”

“Good.”

The cry of Edelweis broke. Heart's broken. I didn't know Ryan would turn around. Either it hurts more mana between Rajasa and Ryan.

Men are still men. Unable to be faithful. No matter how hard they try.

The next day, Edelweis rushed to the restaurant. Using taxi. Wearing his sunglasses.

Spread his sight. He found a man he knew very well. Walking slowly towards the man who was sitting alone.

“You've been a long time?” Ask.

“New to. Sit.” Ryan said in a lethargic tone.

“Thank you.”

“What do you want to eat?”

“Coffee only.”

“Do not coffee later you have trouble sleeping. I order orange juice, yes?”

Edelweis nodded his head.

“You order what food?”

“I'm not hungry.”

“Do not do that. You should eat. I'll order some chocolate cake. How?”

Edelweis nodded his head.

They are silent to each other. A long silence. Edelweis went back and forth wiping away her tears.

Ryan held his hand. Swiping softly.

“I'm sorry.”

“However I and Nurmala are husband and wife like you and Rajasa.”

“Yes. Edelweis rubbed his increasingly distended stomach. Three more months she's looking forward to the birth of her baby.”

“I've been meaning to divorce her but she's pregnant with my son.”

Edelweis nodded his head weakly.

“I really can't bear to leave him. She's pregnant with my son. I don't want to separate my son from his mother. I hope you understand.”

“I understand but it hurts so much.”

“Yes, I know.  I'm sorry.”

Edelweis shook his head.

“I'm the one who's sorry. Become a thorn in your household.”

“Return to Rajasa. Maybe you guys are meant to be together. Like me and Nurmala.”

Edelweis nodded his head.

“Maybe it's a punishment for me for reluctantly forgiving him.”

“Yeah. I see, Rajasa really loves you and your children.”

“I hope he can keep my trust.”

“He's a man. He almost gave up his true love. He definitely knows what he has to do.”

“Yeah.”

“We remain friends and friends right?”

Edelweis nodded his head.

“Until anytime I can't be angry let alone hate you.”

“I do too. I will always take care of you. If Rajasa does not keep his word. I'll break his neck. How?”

Edelweis laughs wryly, “Yeah, sure. Thanks.”

“You came yes my four monthly baby with Rajasa and Malika.”

“Yeah. Sure.”

“Ryan...”.

“Yeah?”

“I want to order the food you ordered. My stomach is suddenly hungry.”

“Aalhamdulillah's. I'm glad you've been able to accept everything.”

“At first it was heavy. But I realized that your words were right. That soul mate is destiny. Better we surrender and accept than fight it.”

“Yeah. I know you're a strong and wise woman. I ordered food for you, right? Black pepper beef rice?”

Edelweis nodded his head, “Thanks.”

They finished their meal in silence. The thoughts of the two were raging against each other.

“I'm sorry I couldn't keep my promise to you.”

Edelweis just nodded languidly.

“Maybe destiny is not on our side.”

“She is pregnant with my son.”

“Yeah, I know. I-i understand. You don't have to worry.”

“You don't understand.” Ryan clasped Edelweis' hand firmly.

Tears dripped over Ryan's hand. His black glasses full of dew came from his tears that fed the river. Like a cloud condensing and seeping down like rainwater.

Ryan's tears are melting. With a hoarse voice said, “ I can't convey it to you. When knowing. I feel like the world is broken. I didn't mean to mess things up.”

Edelweis nodded his head. With a vibrating voice said softly, “I understand.”

“All happens out of control. But then I thought. Me and Nurmala, husband and wife just like you and Rajasa. There is nothing wrong but I do not consider that this can happen.”

“Maybe in fertile period.”

“He didn't take the pills.”

“Whatever it is I understand. It's all his destiny. God is outlining. No need to regret. Thank you for all the love you gave me. I feel like the luckiest woman in the world.”

Ryan took off Edelweis' sunglasses. Removing the tears that filled Edelweis' face.

With a quivering voice said, “I caused all these tears to spill. I'll remove it. I'm much more of a jerk than Rajasa!” Ryan was frustrated.

Edelweis put his finger in Ryan's mouth. Ask him to stop talking.

“Don't say anything that will hurt us both. None of us want to betray or deny. All Divine destiny. We trust each other that is more than enough.”

Ryan grabbed the face of Edelweis kissing his lips with all his heart, soul and feelings.

“I'm sorry.” Said let go of his kiss, “I don't mean to be presumptuous. I just want you to know. What I feel. I can't say anything because maybe what I feel can't be put in the form of words.”

Edelweis nodded his head. First and last kiss.
