Sleeping Beauty Wants The Throne

Sleeping Beauty Wants The Throne
12. Ochonner and his Bafflement

A few hours ago

Upon reaching her room, Luz paced back and forth in agitation as she occasionally stared in annoyance at the bag of five silver coins that were lying on the bed. It had been a few rough sighs coming out of his mouth, but this time Luz was sure he would not run out of sense.

Luckily a miracle came. When the train that took the Marquis and his family away, someone just came and entered the Thompsville manor house in neat clothes. Doesn't look like a beggar let alone a thief.

Luz did not want to greet him before knowing who it was and what his position was in the de Cera family. But after hearing the butler call him My Lord, Luz is convinced that the man is Oddysey's twin brother, Ochonner. Just as it is listed in the genealogical book of the de Cera family.

"Have my mom and dad left?"

"Here, My Lord, as always only Lady de Cera remains in her room."

"alright. Please make me some tea."

Cih, he's definitely here to visit his family before the palace party. All the family members except the Odyssey of course. Luz already knows that the Odyssey really doesn't matter in anyone's eyes.

"Aren't you sick, then why are you standing here?"

Luz blinked. He had just realized that Ochonner was already standing in the doorway with a full-fledged look in his direction. Ok, Luz must have been caught eavesdropping just now.

"I'm healthy, brother."

Ochonner. Maybe it wasn't the usual call Odyssey had told him.

"I mean ... my twin."

The folds on Ochonner's forehead deepened. What call did Luz mention getting weird?

"I'm healthy ... My dear?" luz said slowly and Ochonner looked at him in shock.

Luz didn't mean anything, he just wanted to adjust his attitude like the old Odyssey but unfortunately, there wasn't a single memory of the Odyssey attached to his brain. Someone, please just swallow Luz to the bottom of the sea. She was so embarrassed to say the call just now.

This is the result of not having any brothers in the past. When I got it, Luz was hit by a tremor.

Terms and conditions apply. Rotten women like Athene do not include her brother.

"It looks like you're still sick. It's better to go back to your room" Ochonner said after recovering from his shock but still in an awkward tone.

"I'm really healthy, really. I'm confused now."

"What makes you confused?"

"I need a piece of dress and makeup to go to the party but I don't have my own money."

The amethyst bead Luz suddenly shone. Ahhhh, he has an idea.

"Don't you hate parties, since when do you want to go. And makeup or what's a—gaun how do you like everything?" Ochonner was surprised, he felt faced with Odyssey who had a different figure.

"We don't have much time to talk, Chonner. If you have money please lend me some!"

"How much do you need?"

"That's...." Luz confusion. Boro-boro knows the price of the dress, knowing the appropriate shape she still doubts. "We go together, how?"

Ochonner was wide-eyed, "You crazy? I went home for a while just to make sure you were okay and would return to Brighton's Grand Duke mansion before the event began. Where to go to Madam Larrson's shop!"

"Oh, that's so sweet. Are you worried about me, bro? But this request of mine includes my biggest concern, please just this once!" pinta Luz really meant it. She had a plan at the party and if this did not work out, then her hopes of usurping the title of Crystal Lady would fail.

Want to know what the plan is? Yep, grab the attention of the king and queen. Just tell me if Luz is reckless, but he's really ambitious to have that honorary title.

"It looks like you're really amnesiac. My name is Ochonner, not bro. Quickly get ready, I'll ask the butler to prepare a carriage for you," said Ochonner, shaking his head at Luz's strange call.

"Whether my clothes are less than good to take out, this is more than enough. After all there is no need for a carriage, it is a waste of time that we are better off riding a horse. By the way I see your horse is pretty big."

Luz looked at him expectantly. Not in vain Luz studied equestrian school in the US a few years ago. In his new world, this one is very useful.

"Don't pretend to be great in front of me, Lady de Cera. If you ride, instead of getting to Madam Larrson's shop we'll just come back battered!" ochonner sprayed in annoyance and turned towards the exit.

Luz wanted to laugh but as hard as the laughter that almost broke was held so that Ochonner did not sulk further and further.

"I'm serious, Chonner." Luz offset Ochonner's wide stride. "That's it. If I fail to ride your horse, you won't have to spend money on my dress and makeup. But if I make it, all this afternoon's total shopping becomes your dependents, how?"

Within minutes, Ochonner felt face to face with the new Odyssey.

"Good."

Ochonner. Not that he wanted to save money if the Odyssey failed, but Ochinner wanted to see the extent to which the twin changed. A few months apart, who knows the Odyssey is completely different from the last one he remembers.

"Come, Chonner. Don't waste my time."

Ochonner turned around and he was again surprised to see Luz already sitting casually on his white horse.

"How can.." muttered Ochonner in a daze.

"Do you want to help me?" Luz reached out her hand which Ochonner greeted with a sour face.

Inverted. Ochonner should have done it, not the Odyssey!

Ochonner rode on the same horse as his twin and sat at the back. It already looks like husband and wife only if people do not see any resemblance between them. Feeling that his brother was sitting comfortably, Odyssey without warning threw the horse bridle with enthusiasm.

"If you don't know, Odys. Tonight the government will reward us as the leader of the army on the battlefield. Please don't be wild, I don't want to die before accepting the award" Ochonner said hesitantly with his eyes closed. Instead of being afraid, Luz's white hair fluttering like a flag viciously pierced Ochonner's eyes far more fiercely than the grains of sand in the desert.

"Yes-yes, I know. You better shut up and say goodbye to the money I'm gonna spend."

Ochinner was secretly amazed by his sister. Luz knew how to drive a horse properly and not even once did his beloved white horse feel uncomfortable when Luz jerked the horse's bridle. After several missteps due to Ochinner who forgot the direction, they finally arrived in front of Madam Larrson's shop which will soon be closed.

"It's your fault, why drive too fast."

"Dear sister, obviously it's your fault for giving us the wrong path until we get lost a few times. Now look, our time is up for the road because who?"

Ochonner looked at his brother annoyed.

Luz raised his eyebrows, defiantly turned back. "What, fight?"

"Hurry up and pick up the dress and go home." Ochonner walked into Madam Larrson's shop followed by Luz who followed him with pleasure.

"Good afternoon, Madam Larrson," Ochonner said to a woman who looked beautiful at a young age.

The woman standing in front of a mannequin turned to the door, and her smile grew even more after knowing who was visiting her shop. "Oh, it's been a long time since you've been here. It was a surprise to see you in my store, My Lord. It's late in the afternoon, won't it be tonight that the kingdom will throw a party for the entire Grand Duke army including you?"

Ochonner glanced arrogantly towards Luz. "of course. I was a general of the cavalry, but I was forced by someone to drive him here."

"Eh, who is he. Your cousin?" madam Larrson asked after seeing Luz coming out behind Ochonner's back.

"This is Lady de Cera, madam. Did you forget?"

"Lady de Cera?" Madam Larrson looked surprised. "I think the lady looked very different from the last one I remember. Ah, forget it I've been forgetful a lot lately."

"I need a pretty dress, madam. Is there still?" luz asked as he swept his gaze across the almost empty store.

Madam Larrson took Luz further into her shop.

"Darling, you're late. Since a week ago ladies started hunting and buying a lot of dresses for the preparation of the party later tonight. Somehow the reason they bought such a large number of dresses was the same, they wanted to captivate the Grand Duke and the future heir Marquis Thompsville at the party."

Luz nudged his twin arms and then giggled amusedly while the one who was nudged only snorted annoyedly. Although annoying and a little grumpy, it turns out Ochonner is much in demand by women, thought Luz astonished.

What do they see from Ochonner?

After mocking the youngest de Cera, they approached a simple white dress with purple put in the corner like an unused item.

"Just this left, milady. The whole dress in my shop is over."

The remaining dress is very simple. There is no accent that makes the appearance stand out and there is no characteristic at all. These dresses look more like .. dresses that are made without design. Randomly.

"You still have scissors, thread, and a few pieces of fabric as well as beads?"

"Yes, there is," replied Madam Larrson doubtfully. "But for what?"

Luz smiled obliquely.

Time to show his hidden talent!
