Sleeping Beauty Wants The Throne

Sleeping Beauty Wants The Throne
45. Debutante's Problems

Two weeks passed. As the Duke of Lancess once said about the debutante, in a row of accessories and boutique shops seemed to be filled with horse carriages that were parked neatly. Orders of dresses, shoes, to trinkets were not receding. Every day young nobles always come, buy clothes that they think are best and then buy everything they like.

Since a few days ago Luz has been recruiting subordinates to help her work in the store. After being given directions and examples, they immediately work because the work Luz gives is not classified as difficult.

Likewise with Rose, Luz's loyal servant who used to work in Thompsville, now decided to join him.

Starting from Ochonner's return to Thompsville a few weeks ago, Ochonner who did not have the heart to cry Rose who wanted to meet his nona finally ventured to ask permission to Marquis Thompsville. Ask the waiter for her, and then take Rose home to Brighton.

Like women in general, the two men —Luz and Rose— hugged each other when they met again at the mansion.

"Is there anything I need to do again, milady?"

Luz who had just finished decorating one of the nobles turned his head. Smiling slightly, she replied, "You can rest now, Rose."

"There must be something I can do."

"Since morning you haven't sat down."

"I'm stronger than you think."

"Rose." Luz looked at him flatly. "Your job now is to sit down. There's still a lot of your friends who haven't worked, don't take their part."

Rose scowled then without a word, she came out of the dressing room but the woman was still following what Luz ordered. Now, with that flexed face of his, he sat on one of the sofas right beside the aquarium inhabited by several goldfish chefs.

"Lucky you got a waitress like her, Crystal Lady." Tania Bradford, the friendly Viscountess, finally made a sound. "The waiter in my estate is no one as good as your waitress."

"He was diligent, but did not understand his own body language." Luz swept a purple and blue graded eyeshadow brush, perfect for the bright Viscountess's netra. "If left to work all day, he could get sick."

"And yes .. employers don't usually care about that."

Luz looked at him through the mirror reflection. Smiling thinly. "They are human too."

"But the degrees are different from ours."

"Today maybe you can say it without a burden." Luz was reminded of his life in New York. The people are the people, there will be no more slavery in the twenty-first century. "But time goes on. And in the end, there will be no more like-minded people with you."

"I don't understand what you're talking about."

"That's my prediction about the future."

Luz continued his work. The last step, Luz blends blends blush and voila! His special work was completed sooner than expected.

"It's over, lady."

"Very satisfying!" Viscountess admired her increasingly beautiful face at her age that was no longer young. "I don't know where your talent comes from. But one thing you need to remember, whatever the problem in the future please do not close this amazing store of yours."

"I never thought that way."

"Debutante is just around the corner" replied Tania Bradford. "And there, the mouth of the nobleman could have criticized you with a scathing for wanting to work like a commoner."

"Are you bothered about it as much as they are, Viscountess?"

"I don't, it's just that the thing you're doing right now is quite proud of me."

"I'm glad to know you're not that bad." Luz put the hardware back in the bag. "And the problem of debutante, I can't be sure to come there or not remember lately the work in the store is getting more and more and some orders are also piling up."

"Ah, right. Your shop is getting crowded every day." Tania nodded. "But keep coming. Work may be, but marriage should not be delayed. I don't want to see you become a spinster."

And after hearing the words of the Viscountess just now, Luz just remembered that the purpose of debutante itself is a place to find a husband accompanied by a companion of each. Vice versa, the gentlemen present must intend to find a wife or the worst again to find mistress* from the ladies who have no sponsor.

Please don't tell me Luz has to be present. He doesn't want to get married!

Rose's figure again appeared in the doorway coupled with her bright expression of spirit.

"What's up, Rose?"

"Princess Giselle and Earl Travis are coming and are waiting for you in the living room."

"I see you're very busy." Viscountess kept on soft. "I'm sorry that I've been interfering with your work."

"No, Viscountess. I'm just glad I could exchange ideas with you."

"Value plus for your store. Next time I'll visit, thank you for this stunning makeup!"

Luz smiled brightly as she made sure Viscountess Bradford was completely satisfied with the results of her hard work. Without waiting any longer, Luz went to meet the two special guests Rose had just mentioned.

On top of a long sofa, Princess Giselle who was wearing a brown dress looked beautiful as she smiled after noticing Luz's presence standing on the door leaf.

"Crystal Lady."

Sean Travis looked at the door. Excited then straightened his body which was initially leaning on the arm of the sofa.

Hearing the princess's exclamation, Luz smiled faintly as an early welcome for his two guests. Luz then decided to sit on a single sofa next to an imitation tree.

"It's nice to know you're here, Your Highness." Luz turned his gaze to Sean. "And Earl Travis, long time no see."

"I can't come here because lately dad's been giving me a lot of work in the South and I have to get it done on time." Sean let out a tired sigh, "He plans to make me a Baron there."

"Good news, then your power will be even greater, right?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Then why are you still so moody?"

"I'm actually lazy to be a noble."

Hearing Sean's reply, Luz was of course surprised. What does lazy mean? Nobles belong to a special caste, do not need to work can get money from the rent of land. Wear fancy clothes every day, titles, and so on.

But Sean....

"Hey, we didn't come here to talk about it." Princess Giselle guiltlessly beat Sean's thigh until the man grimaced. "Just get to the point, Crystal Lady. Seeing my increasingly extraordinary appearance thanks to your magical hand, Her Majesty the Queen specifically requested that you be willing to become a palace fairy for the debutante this season."

"It's a pride for me. Of course I won't refuse."

Despite her refusal, Luz will not be able to because this is a direct request from the Queen. Dare to refuse? Get ready to meet the hanging pole.

"Good, as expected!" manikin. "Then pack up immediately. Two hours' train from the palace to pick you up."

"What?!" Luz. "What does it mean, You Highness. Don't I just have to come to the palace on the day of the event, dress you up, then finish?!"

Hearing the loud protests from Luz, both Sean and Princess Giselle could not bear to spout amused laughter. "Who said it was that easy? You'll have to stay at the palace from tomorrow to three days after the debutante's show is over."

Luz was silent. Imagining that every day will meet with Evandre is a bad thing that is difficult to avoid because they will be in the same place. Grateful if Evandre had forgotten about it and focused on other women, but if otherwise....

But that does not mean Luz failed to move on, he was just lazy to meet let alone talk to the crocodile prince.

Argh, why is everything like this?!
