Luz moved forward and stabbed the back of one of the enemies who was fighting Ochonner. When the gold touched their clothes, there was still no meaningful reaction as Luz had expected. Now Luz understands. They would only die if the gold could touch their skin directly.
Just as Luz had seen before, when the golden blade had managed to tear apart his body part, then the Authoris person collapsed and turned into ashes.
Seeing this, Ochonner and the others suddenly got a bright spot from the end of this fight. Luz pointed to the palace warehouse whose door was located in the corner of the unused building and then voiced out loud.
"All the treasures are kept there. Whatever it is, as long as it's made of gold grab it and use it to kill them!"
The horde of troops immediately took out all the items made of gold. Some of the Authors tried to block the road but that did not mean the Grand Duke troops would surrender.
Not short of sense, those cannibals stood at each other's doorstep. Shouting fiercely as if to say that anyone who dared to pass by, they would not hesitate to devour it.
"My Lady!"
Luz who initially felt confused could finally be relieved when he saw Cornelius approaching. The man looked fine in typical noble clothes. Luz thought Cornelius still had full confidence in Evandre. The Crown Prince has not kissed his treason.
"There is another door to the room you are referring to. Let's follow me."
Luz nodded. With his command, some troops were told to head off the Authoris who were still on guard so they would not be suspicious when the Grand Duke took another door.
But eventually they realized.
"Well, why are there so few of them?" one of them seemed to count the number of Grand Duke troops that were defeated.
"True, wasn't there a lot? If the number is only this much where it might be full." The others wondered and scratched their heads.
There was no long sound from inside. The sound came from the door they were guarding and it was enough to make them realize that they were being deceived. The Grand Duke's army had already entered into the golden warehouse, and this little army that was injured in front of him was just bait to let them off guard.
"Damn it!"
The door opened with Ochonner carrying a golden samurai. The second fight begins. They hit each other, affirming who was the most powerful among them. Without waiting for long, hundreds or even thousands of those bar-bars could already be crippled. Luz admitted, they are really strong but simultaneously they can also be weak creatures when faced with defeat.
"Mady!"
General Franklin approached him. There were many wounds all over the man's body but he did not seem to give up.
"Until now I have not seen any signs of the Grand Duke's existence." General Franklin looked worried, "Did you see it?"
"D-he doesn't exist?"
General Franklin nodded slowly.
Without the ba-bi-bu, Luz immediately ran from hallway to hallway to find Alastair who until now he had not seen his whereabouts. Luz did not care as his breathing shortened. With all his might, move his tired legs to keep running.
His steps came to a halt when he saw Alastair being surrounded everywhere. It cannot be described, between relief and worry. The man was desperate. Behind him stood a ten-meter-high wall looking solid with no gaps to escape, while in front of him there were dozens of hungry bar-bars that had already drooled, preparing to break his bones.
"Alastair!"
Alastair instantly knew that the one who called him this time was Luz because so far, only the girl had dared to call out her real name blatantly. Alastair swiftly caught the golden blade Luz threw at him. Suddenly the Authoris took a step back knowing that their main prey was now carrying a golden weapon.
"It's my turn."
As if knowing that this shiny yellow object was their weakness, Alastair unceasingly stabbed his enemy mercilessly. Blood splattered from their mouths as the one-meter-long object managed to pierce through the heart, tearing it apart, just like a balloon pierced through a cutter blade. Witnessing such a terrible thing, some of the Authoris chose to retreat and fled through the exit. Alas, up ahead was General Franklin with two golden blades.
Fight's over. Completely finished.
The people of Authoris have been eliminated. Along with the dust of those flying everywhere.
"Love...." Alastair briefly smiled warmly as his manic collided with Luz's nano-gaze. Luz did not expect, so many scratches on the man's body. And worst of all, a deep cut ran from his brow to his left cheekbone.
Alastair took off his sword. In an instant, his already weak body instantly collapsed between splashes of puddles of blood.
"Alastair!" Luz ran up to him, heeding General Franklin's warning which was only considered a wind past. When they met, time seemed to stop. The feelings of the two seemed to be mixed. Sad, happy, happy, and hurt. They feel each other's pain.
Luz could not hold back the tightness when he saw the palm of Alastair's hand that had been torn as a result of the bite of the Authoris. Luz then looked up. He looked back, but his tears could not be blocked when he saw Alastair's left eye that was bleeding along with the transverse line that Luz had seen before.
"Stupid."
"Don't cry."
As a result of these words, Luz was finally completely unable to hold back the rate of her tears. Luz was really crying. Sobbing until his breath falters. On the contrary, despite his efforts Alastair still moving forward. Hugged the girl with a warm hug and patted her back. Trying to calm himself even though he is not in good condition.
"Are you hurt?"
Luz shook his head, still untangling the muffled tears between their arms.
"Then why cry, hm?"
"D-basic insensitive!" Luz smacked his chest until Alastair chuckled. "Why just get hurt, why don't you just die?!"
I want you to be fine without getting hurt, Alastair.
"I'm not a baby who dies when stabbed." Alastair stroked the soft white mane of Luz. Along with her relentless little lips. "But I am also not an immortal being that cannot be hurt. I'm still human, Love."
Luz nodded weakly. Is correct. As powerful as it may be, which human would not be injured when faced with a cannibal monster of a whole lot?
"Just calm down." Luz touched Alastair's hand. "If you die, I'll die too. I see, right?"
Alastair's heart stopped. How much does Luz feel about him? Is Luz really not the same woman as her late mother who loved to betray?
That question, a question that Alastair often thought of. Today all his doubts disappeared unceasingly.
If Luz only loved the position, from the beginning he would have chosen Evandre as the man carrying the title of successor to the throne so that he would not have to bother to help Alastair.
If Luz only wanted protection, from the beginning he would definitely not dare to launch his great idea and dare to take the consequences for his actions.
And if Luz only wanted the name of the Grand Duchess, she would not have to care and sacrifice herself to take part in this incident.
Is ... Luz really felt the same feeling towards her?
Can Alastair hope for more?
"Love, if I'd have been—"
"Revelation!"
They turned their heads as Evandre with flaming red eyes suddenly rushed to snatch a sword, descending from his throne. His gaze turned violent, no matter Alastair or Luz, one or better yet both of them had to die!
"A traitor also falls in love with a traitor. You two, go to hell!"
As Evandre raised his sword high to stab the two people, his movements came to a halt with his mouth gaping and eyes wide open. Not yet had time to complete his intention, Evandre's body was the one that actually fell round and round.
When the man hit the floor, a sword was seen behind his back.
"His Majesty the Queen?!"
Queen Monetta stared at the cruelty of her own son. His trembling hand was still holding a sword covered in blood. Blood is none other than Evandre.
"Thank you." Luz made a sound, more like a squeak. It was unexpected that his arrival to the palace a few days ago could change the queen's mind and help in such a crucial moment.
"Thank you." He said again and then lost consciousness just as the Grand Duke managed to catch his feeble body.
In an instant, everything turned black.
......................
Please do not blaspheme Luz who was fainting ya guys because she was once a makeup artist, work in front of a mirror. Not the mafia or the CIA who's used to the world of stab-piercing🙊
