"Suspicious trade is happening at the docks?" Alastair put back the parchment he finished reading. "How long have you known about this, Lancess?"
"Rather than two months ago," Louise replied then hurriedly added upon noticing Ochonner's sharp gaze. "The guy was so clean that I had a hard time extracting information. It took me quite a long time to ascertain my suspicions."
"What's clean until Lancess herself finds it hard to trace her tracks?" Alastair kept quiet and continued. "Where and where are these items delivered?"
"The territory is different, sometimes the receiver is in Thompsville, and more recently in Brighton." Louise once again gulped down the saliva. "But most often .. these items are delivered to the center of Sormenia."
"It's impossible if the items entering the capital are not checked anymore" said Ochinner, who is a Louise. "The guard there is much tighter. Is this a trace that the culprit could have been someone who was powerful enough?"
"I'm like you." Alastair turned his gaze to Louise. "The "Duke of Lancess. The law that sided with us is still weak if we have only this little evidence. If you have stepped on the law, then there will be more obstacles that can knock us down especially if the opponent this time is not a random person. So, are you willing to look for more detailed evidence of these suspicious items?"
Alastair paused, "If it's a misstep, the stakes are our own names."
Louise nodded. "certain. From tomorrow all my men on the dock will be sent."
"The spy force from Brighton I'm going down to help you."
"I feel helped." The Duke of Lancess tidied up the parchment he was carrying. "Then I have to leave before sunrise. Nice to meet you, old friend."
...----------------...
Luz blinked as the sunlight that burst through the curtain slit fell right on his face that was placed on the table. He stretched his body, wriggled and realized that it was morning.
Last night Luz chose not to take a break to focus his work on staying a little. Everything is now finished and ready for sale. Unmitigated, Luz makes a variety of lipstick from light to dark. Then there is also a powder that is suitable for all skin types, and some simple eyeliner that can be used for eyebrows and eyelashes.
Luz. After standing up, he felt pain in the waist because he slept in the wrong condition. He grimaced, but as soon as he went down to take it for breakfast with Ochonner.
"Good pag—" Luz glared as she knew the Grand Duke was also in the dining room. The man leisurely sat down on one of the chairs while paying attention to the several letters in his hand.
"Aren't you done with asceticism, dear sister?" sapa Ochonner is sarcastic.
Luz snorted and decided to sit on one of the chairs. He quietly glanced at the busiest man. "It's too early to see your face, Grand Duke."
Feeling his name being called, Alastair raised their faces and their gazes suddenly met. Luz hurriedly turned his gaze then cleared awkwardly while Alastair instead grinned amusedly.
"From your words I know that you're missing me, Crystal Lady."
"Hm, so confident," Luz replied and asked the waiter to pour her tea.
"I tell the truth."
Ochonner who is at the end of the table can only gap wide when seeing the interaction of the two are fairly close. He knew the Grand Duke well and the Grand Duke would not be willing to get that close to any woman. Especially to tease him!
Regardless of the political marriage, is this a sign that the Grand Duke is secretly fond of the Odyssey?
"Don't interrupt my sunny morning!"
"But I like to seduce you."
"Cinting!"
"I love you too, beautiful."
Luz looked at Alastair full of hostility while the man stared instead. Ochonner cleared his throat, it was better to reconcile these two people faster before his dining room turned into ruins.
"Odyssey, you better finish your breakfast before you fight."
Ok, let's just say Ochonner can only stop his second war in a short time.
"Grand Duke, aren't we going to talk about taxes on eastern lands?"
"Forget it, Ochonner. The tax issue isn't as important as your twin."
Furthermore Alastair laughed out loud after successfully making Luz angry on his special morning.
"After this you're going to the store?" ask Ochonner who's trying to shift the conversation.
Luz looked at him but had yet to take off an annoyed expression. "Yes." Yeah."
Secretly Ochinner stroked the chest. Oh, my God, that's so bad.
"You want to go with me?" alastair.
"No."
"Why not?"
"I'm leaving with Ochonner."
"Sorry, Odyss. It seems like today you should go with the Grand Duke, "Oconner's leerion was accompanied by a guilty look. "There's business at Thompsville's manor house. For about a week I'll be living there."
Ochonner turned his gaze to Alastair. "Grand Duke, I trust you. Please take care of my annoying sister as long as I'm not around."
Alastair smirked, "Listen to himself, right?"
Luz looked at the two men in disbelief. They must be conspiring!
No-no, no matter what happens Luz won't be lured to anyone anymore.
"Ochinner, you could've handed your brother over to a stranger."
"He's not a stranger, the Grand Duke is my role model." Ochonner chuckled amusedly as he found Luz's increasingly murky expression. "And most likely, in a few months or years she'll be my sister-in-law."
"I'm done!" Luz threw down his spoon and fork and stood up. "I'm leaving."
Luz without hearing the answer from the two directly walked out of the room feeling coarse. What the hell, brother-in-law, it's better that Ochonner alone is married to the Grand Duke!
Luckily the dining room was located on the first floor so Luz did not bother to go down the stairs. After being on the front steps of the mansion, someone was heard calling out to him from behind.
"Crystal Lady!"
Luz sighed. He knows who is calling him.
"I'll drive you."
"No need, Grand Duke," Luz refused blatantly. "Your castle and shop are different directions. No need to bother, don't listen to Ochonner's obscure rant."
"All right now I want to visit your store to see if there's anything less or broken" replied Alastair who was softer and had no more seductive impression. "Can, right?"
Luz was a bit of a doubt when the Grand Duke said 'your shop' when the store came from his gift. There was no choice, Luz finally nodded.
"good. Then let's go now, Lovely Anderson." Alastair immediately grabbed Luz's arm and took her to his big car.
Deg
Luz watched Alastair's relaxed face as he spoke his real name. Where, when, and how the man knew. Various questions were entrenched within Luz's suddenly empty mind.
"What ... Who's Lovely Anderson?"
Alastair turned his head then threw an amused smile. "That's the name of someone who can make me love her."
Luz shock. Someone, immediately capture the Grand Duke and torture him until he confesses, where he gets the real name Luz whose incident is unknown to anyone in this world!
