Sleeping Beauty Wants The Throne

Sleeping Beauty Wants The Throne
14. The Trash Is Actually You, Athene

Ochonner cleared his throat behind them. His white horse had already been taken by the stables guards and now left behind the three of them. In front of the courtyard was left out of the luxury of the palace hall which was increasingly crowded.

"Lord de Cera, is that you?"

Ochonner tried to adapt to the low-light environment. His eyebrows swooped when he knew who that person was. "Lord Samuelson?"

"Old not meet." They shake hands of men. "Congratulations on your success in yesterday's war. I'm glad to hear you're back without any flaws."

"thank you. Coming late too?" ochonner asked the gray man because the party seemed to be about to start.

"Yes, there is still some business on the farm of Baron Lanscouth that I have to take care of since this morning. Fortunately, everything is safe" replied Lord Samuelson calmly.

"It's a shame the party will start. I have to gather with the other troops." Ochonner looked at Lord Samuelson and turned to the Odyssey. "Can I leave my brother to you. He needs to be watched or something could happen."

"Ochonner.." Luz growled with warning.

"No problem, Lord de Cera. Please enjoy your time," replied Lord Samuelson quickly.

Hearing Lord Samuelson's reply, Ochonner nodded in agreement implying gratitude then left there with wide strides. Initiating, Luz finally went from the place to the main hall which of course pursued by Lord Samuelson from behind.

"Thus ... You're Lady de Cera?"

Luz. A little upset that Lord Samuelson agreed to Ochonner's strange request. Luz is a free adult woman, there is no need for her to be watched every detail like a baby just learning to walk.

"Yes .. and you alone?"

"I'm Baron Lanscouth's son, Derrick Samuelson. Your Admirer. Since Baron Lanscouth's last visit to Thompsville's manor house the other day, he told me a little bit about you, "he replied impassively.

Luz grimacing. If you remember the attitude he showed while in the dining room is not something that should be praised. At first glance, he looks like an ungodly child and a dissident.

Ckck, how could he like a woman he'd only ever heard without knowing reality. Sorry if it seems rude, but this young man is innocent or just stupid?

"What did Baron Lanscouth say about me?"

"You are an honest person, Baron Lanscouth said that he could see that honesty behind your eyes that never trembled. Your rotten sister always feels great, but you can reply to her elegantly. That's what makes me feel salute to you!"

Luz nodded softly to answer Lord Samuelson's words. They entered in tandem until they arrived in front of a double door that was tightly shut. The place where the party is held.

"To avoid the rumors that will trouble you in the future, I'll be watching you from afar. We'll just split up here, you can go in first."

"No need to look after me. There were no monsters or zombies in there so there was no need to worry. Ochonner is overkill, but I can take care of myself" replied Luz who objected.

Lord Samuelson was confused about monsters and zombies. Without hearing Lord Samuelson's reply, Luz bowed slightly and left. Enter mingle among the other nobles.

Lord Samuelson could only stare at the woman's back walking away then sigh. He touched his chest that was pounding. Following Odyssey's increasingly distant steps, as well as his heart that again subsided.

The feeling he felt was different. Derrick Samuelson never found the same feeling when he was with another woman. True said Baron Lanscouth, the charm of Lady de Cera is able to anesthetize until his heart had been overfunctioned.

This was their first meeting, but the memory of this afternoon has never escaped the memory of Lord Samuelson. When the man arrived at the mansion, his face was not tired of smiling itself to the astonishment of the servants who saw his kasmaran behavior.

...----------------...

After the coronation of the Grand Duke of Brighton that inserted the title of Major General in front of his name, the party took place as festive as a party in the palace in general. Thousands of beautiful chandeliers adorned the hall filled with dancing couples followed by music that made Luz yawn several times in his chair. Uninspiring. It seems like going outside the palace is better.

"Hello."

"Yes?"

"I am Lady Sierra Avistasius, daughter of the Earl of Avistasius." He joined and took the available drinks. "This is the first time I've seen you at a party, by the way, what's your name?"

Sierra pulled up the chair and sat down next to Luz who started to feel bad. Just for information, not all nobles can be trusted.

"Lady de Cera, just call it like that" Luz replied briefly.

"Oh, Marquis' daughter. Your rating is above me apparently, sorry." Sierra immediately corrected his decency. "You only drink lemon water?"

"I don't want to ruin the party by drinking champagne," Luz plucked a cake on a tray and put it in his mouth. "Hm, delicious. What's the name of this cake?"

Sierra smiled forcefully. Argh, he doesn't like pleasantries if Crystal Lady doesn't tell him to take Odyssey to the park.

"There's actually a lot I want to talk to you about but it doesn't seem to fit in here." Sierra swept his gaze around the surroundings plus a restless expression. "Do you mind if we talk in the park?" bring directly.

Luz's interested. Since then he really wants to lift his feet from this super formal room if he can ignore politeness. But seeing Lady Avistasius take her, why not. It's opportunity.

"Not bad. Come on, anyway the air here is getting stuffy."

Sierra silently smiled. Who would have thought that the plan would work this easily?

"That's right here."

Sierra led the way to the east door of the palace. After they came out, the door was closed again and the lively melodious music was muffled to a silent atmosphere like ordinary nights. From a distance Luz could hear the sounds of the night animals on the move.

"I think we're too far from the entrance. What do you want to talk about here?"

"It's not Lady Avistasius who wants to talk to you, but me."

Luz raised his eyebrows when he saw the Crystal Lady coming out from behind the tree with her hands folded in front of her chest plus her chin raised high.

"Please" replied Luz.

Honestly, facing a talkative human like Athene is very boring. There's no challenge at all.

"Why are you dressed so fancy like that, trash. You know, attention is only for me. For me! You have no right to take it!" athene was angry. "Basar don't know yourself, why don't you just die, huh?!"

"Have you spoken?" Luz rubbed his earlobe with a annoyed expression. "The attention comes to me, not the other way around."

"What do you mean?!"

"Still not understanding either?" Luz chuckled amusedly. "Diamonds don't have to do anything to look special, just like me. From the beginning of the party I didn't hang out with the guys at the hall at all to grab their attention."

"But you?" Luz clucked while monitoring Athene's performance from top to bottom. "Have worn a dress too vulgar, plus used the name Crystal Lady to hook many men who want to accompany you at the manor house every day. Is it not shameful?"

Athena could not answer. His face flushed red because what Luz said was clearly true. There was no way to dodge it but compared to that, Luz's speech just now was clearly heard by Lady Avistasius. If after this Lady Avistasius avoided her out of disgust, then Athene would blame Luz to death.

"Whenever you try to look stunningly great, your charisma will be extinguished when you face me. Garbage even though it is made as luxurious decoration whatever its value is still far below diamonds. Up here do you understand?"

Luz was about to move, but he paused. "Ah, one more. Don't forget to say goodbye to the title Crystal Lady. Because before thirty days, the name will be mine" Luz said.
