Sleeping Beauty Wants The Throne

Sleeping Beauty Wants The Throne
22. The woman who caught the Grand Duke's attention

"Gosh, wake!"

Vaguely Luz felt someone pat her on the cheek. At first it feels soft, like a mother holding her baby. But over time the clap got louder and maybe now her cheeks had turned reddish.

"Why did you faint here, my God."

Though her eyes were still heavy, Luz finally had to open her eyes. His sleep was disturbed and he promised to scold anyone who dared to wake him up.

"Grand Duke?!" Luz glared and sat down. He held his cheek that —according to predictions— already like a boiled crab. "What did you do, you slapped me?!"

Alastair. "You didn't faint?"

"There's no history of me ever fainting." Luz looked at him annoyed. "Look, my cheek must've been stamped on your hand!"

Alastair cleared his throat, "Sorry, lady. That was just a reflex."

"Reflex that bar-bar."

"I just don't want what happened a few weeks ago to happen again, lady."

"I'm not dead!" Luz knows that Alastair is bringing up the Odyssey suicide case. "What's wrong if I sleep here?"

"Come, Grand— my goodness, Odyssey. What are you doing there?"

Ochonner was standing in the doorway complete with a warm suit as he was already entering early autumn. His face displayed an expression of shock as he watched Luz sitting under a bench with his head peeking out. Note, under the bench.

"Your brother sleeps under a park bench, Chonner," replied Alastair. He can only shake his head. "Where did he actually come from?"

"From the future," Luz replied honestly but they paid no heed to him. "Well, don't you, me but why are you guys so noisy?"

"Why did you sleep there?" Ochonner almost lost face in front of his leader because of Luz's actions. "The ten rooms are empty!" point it at a large building on the other side of the manor house.

"The air here is comfortable but too hot to take a nap" Luz said without feeling guilty, without feeling ashamed. She was wearing a thick dress and used to wear air conditioner, so the air here felt it was appropriate for a nap. "So I decided to sleep here. Not dirty, really."

"Get into your room, brother."

"Hey, what was that. You told me, so. Remember, who's brother and who's sister!"

"It's got nothing to do, come in and clean yourself up."

"Sugrynieny." Luz was concerned but he still stood up even while grumbling. Snorting cynically, then passing Alastair and Ochonner just like that.

Actually after Marquis Thompsville interrupted him while resting under the apple tree, Luz went so sleepy that he took any path and found this place near the living room window. The sleepiness is already unbearable. Forgetting Rose who might be confused to look for her, Luz decided to take a nap for a while. Just five minutes, apparently. Before the Grand Duke comes and interrupts.

The Marquis, now the Grand Duke. Two equally annoying bullies.

"Ochinner, why don't we take Lady Odyssey with us?"

Luz quickly turned around while Ochonner stared at the horror of the Grand Duke putting on an innocent face. Exit already if the culprit of this one problem participated.

"You want to take me? Where are you guys going?" tanya Luz enthusiastically.

"We want to go to the market, do you want to come?"

Ochonner looked at Alastair with an all-inclusive look. "Are you sure you brought him?"

"The market is a little far away, doesn't it matter?"

"Even if the market is on Mars, I have absolutely no problem!"

Crick. Crick.

Mars? What is Mars. Astronomy lessons are not in the lessons here, they don't know.

The Grand Duke wanted to inquire further but quickly Luz cut him off. "You guys wait here. I'll be back in ten minutes."

After saying that, Luz walked into the manor house with a happy heart. About a week or so thinking of a way to get the Crystal Lady, at least she could take a short break to cool her hot brain.

"Ten minutes a woman is two hours or more" Ochonner said, deciding to sit on the bench Luz had left.

"really?" Grand Duke was stunned. What kind of delay it was, there was absolutely no history. "Is there any official research on this?"

"There's no official research, Grand Duke." Ochonner leaned back and closed his eyes. "If you forget, all my sisters. A lot of experience I took from them about how complicated life is even out of the room they have to dress up."

Grand Duke nodded slowly. All things he is superior. From politics, military, law, even **** - whining weaponry is only a small thing for him. But if it's women's affairs .. ckckck, don't ask. The Grand Duke did not understand at all.

"But is it okay to take her there?" ask Ochonner again worried.

"Why don't you trust your own brother, he won't hurt anyone else" Alastair replied as if unconcerned.

"No, it's not that. I believe, it's just ..." Ochonner ruffled his hair. "Ah, stop. Whatever."

"Don't ban it that way. Women are also human beings who need entertainment, not languishing in the manor alone," Alastair mocked and clucked. "Other times try dating occasionally so you can understand women's feelings. As you get older, no one knows when you're going to age. It's so sad to die without a successor."

Ochonner. Although Alastair was his superior, but that did not prevent Ochonner from replying to his very ignorant speech.

"I'm sorry, but that speech is more suitable for you. The difference in our age, if you forget it's nine years. If you want to give advice, then look up, Grand Duke."

Alastair did not take it personally instead he laughed, "For what to look like, after all I've got my Grand Duchess candidate."

Ochonner almost choked on his own saliva. He turned his head with glaring eyes, throughout the history of his devotion, the Grand Duke had never once brought a woman into his mansion. Ochonner never let his guard down, he was sure that now the Grand Duke was making things up.

"Don't joke!"

"I'm serious." She displayed a slanted smile, "I intend to make your unique sister my Grand Duchess. Tell Ochonner, what if she's willing to be my wife?"

Ochonner's jaw almost fell. He was full of unbelief. Of the many esteemed women in line, the Grand Duke's choice was certainly beyond expectations. Not the dignified and glamorous woman he was after, but the woman who liked to talk with strange behavior?

"Are you looking for a friend or playmate?" ask Ochonner again, make sure.

Alastair looked at him sharply. "I feel weird, why are you acting like you don't believe me that way?"

"It's not a matter of believing or not, but ...."

Ochonner could not have imagined the Odyssey to be the Grand Duchess, his superior wife. That woman must be getting arrogant. Already born an elder brother plus a status that rose significantly, surely the Odyssey would happily bully Ochinner until he was satisfied.

Good Lord!
