Sleeping Beauty Wants The Throne

Sleeping Beauty Wants The Throne
31. Princess Giselle's fiancee

The next day, Luz's fear —thankfully— did not occur. Since the inauguration of her beauty house this morning, the white woman often dizzy looking for someone even though what she was looking for did not show the trunk of her nose. On the first day, Luz did not want this place to be crowded with customers because last night he talked with Ochonner until late at night and forgot the time. The hours of rest are displaced, drowsiness and lack of focus is quite disturbing Luz this time.

"Hello, you own the shop, huh?"

Luz flinched and immediately turned towards the door. There stood a friendly-faced man smiling broadly at him.

"Yes, it's me." Luz rested her body on the back of the sofa. "You came too early, My Lord."

"Hey, didn't anyone tell you who I am?" ask the man again. "I'm Sean Travis, Giselle's daughter's fiancee."

"No one wants to tell you anything about yourself." Luz yawned, then looked back at Sean lazily. "If your fairytale is done, the exit is right there."

"I'm not making this up, miss village." Sean was without being told to directly occupy one of the dressing chairs. "Now, dress me up. In two hours Princess Giselle and I are going on a date."

"Dating in a dream," murmured Luz chose to ignore Sean's curse but he still got up and prepared a makeup suitable for Sean's perfect facial posture if given Korean man-style makeup. His handsome-looking face is beautiful will be more charming if added to the cheek line. But for eyeshadow, Luz strongly does not recommend the dye in the eyelid to be used.

"I'm really Princess Giselle's fiancee. Why don't you believe it?" sean replied, apparently hearing Luz's whisper. "Daughter Giselle was lucky to have a fiancee like me because there were so many women out there waiting for me."

"Yes-yes."

"Look at it later."

"Eh."

"Sucks. Believe me a little what is the trouble?!"

"I believe, My Lord. I believe."

Luz immediately applied makeup that he felt fit. He just did not expect, in this age men are no longer questioned if wearing the same makeup as women. Although the levels are certainly different, but surely a little bit of make up can support their good looks. Take Sean-Sean for example.

"Come, the Grand Duke. Is it hard to give me a piece of land in the east without rent? Shouldn't we be family, should our fellow families help each other not complicate it!" sean muttered that seemed to be talking to himself. Luz only watched the man from the reflection of the glass and then shook his head in wonder, who exactly is this person.

"By the way, what's your relationship with the Grand Duke?" asked Luz as she swept the vitamin brush over Sean's blonde hair. Sean was the first customer, surely he knew first about this store from the Grand Duke as well.

"Alastair is a younger cousin" he answered briefly.

"Well, you're family?"

Sean nodded. "That's how."

"So you're also a noble?"

"Of course!" Sean glanced at Luz in surprise. "I'm Earl Travis, how can you not know, Lady?"

So Giselle's daughter's fiancee is an Earl? Then why is the princess not betrothed to a man of one caste with her?

"Actually Giselle's daughter was a distant family," replied Sean who seemed to understand the contents of Luz's head wondering. "I'm Alastair's maternal cousin, while Princess Giselle's paternal cousin. It's that easy."

Wait, why is their family scheme like this?!

Means the relationship of the Grand Duke with the king now....

"Oh, yeah. Where did the Grand Duke pick you up from, Lady?"

"Getting?"

"Your hair looks like all gray hair, My Lord. So let's just say I helped you pull it out."

"Your own hair is whiter than mine" Sean murmured. "Wait, white hair. Are you a close relative of Marquis Thompsville?"

"Marquis Thompsville?" ask Luz back. "Who is that?" he pretended not to know.

"Oh, it turns out that you are very, very primitive," accused Sean and then pricked. "That is Marquis Thompsville who leads the western region of Sormenia. There's no way you don't know, right?"

"What's the guy like?"

"Well, depends on where you judge it from." Sean closed his eyes as Luz sprayed the area of his face. "But about loyalty, people have to learn a lot from it."

"He's so loyal to the royal family, huh?"

"Loyalty has been a hallmark of the Thompsville family ever since their ancestor, the Crystal Lady bravely led the Sormenian army towards the border" Sean said lightly. "Don't tell me you don't know about their family history."

Luz shrugged his shoulders, "I'm new. About the family history, I don't know what the details are."

"Over your life, what have you been doing?" sean Ketus' dictation. "It is important to know such history so that your upper-level association is not underestimated by people."

"Hn. From your story I know that the Thompsville family are indeed the chosen ones" Luz replied.

"Who said everyone's a choice?" Sean laughed a little. "You don't know a single person in the Thompsville family. She's Lady Odyssey de Cera. Well, this one is amazing."

"What's so amazing?"

"Well, it's a pity that a woman like Lady de Cera was born into a Thompsville family. You know, right, how strict their families are and guess what Lady de Cera ended up doing because of that high discipline?"

Luz wondered.

"He almost committed suicide because he couldn't stand it." Sean smiled lightly. "Luckily it can be thwarted. Ha, my advice should be Lady de Cera grow as a commoner so that her life is no longer depressed, at most she will be busy thinking about stomach affairs only. It was just the first suicide attempt, what if there was a second one. I can't imagine how his spirit would be in Thompsville's manor house."

"Is that so bad for Lady de Cera?"

"More or less like that. He committed suicide without a second thought. I mean, just because the Marquis of Galilee canceled their wedding alone he dared to slash his veins. Bah, that woman's mental state is really weak."

Luz shut up. After all, Sean Travis does not know how the behind-the-scenes story of why Odyssey recklessly committed suicide. Because the super tight family is what drives the Odyssey to take his own life.

The Odyssey is not weak. He is actually the toughest. In his lifetime, he never got justice. Sean Travis never knew what the original Odyssey felt.

Before long, the shop door was wide open. It features a man Luz knows as Ochonner's confidant. "Lady de Cera, what a coincidence you're here. The judge's decision regarding the Crystal Lady title trial has already been posted on the city's notice board!"

"What do you mean call Lady de Cera, that person is not in sin—"

"Thank you, Wilbert. I'll be there now." Coinciding with that, Luz again put down her equipment along with Sean's finished makeup.

Looking at Sean who was dumbfounded, Luz resumed. "Thank you, Earl Travis. Thanks to you, I know how people look at this mentally weak me."

Sean could not say anything. He had already insulted someone in front of his own person!

"You ... That Lady de Cera?" ask Sean again to make sure.

Luz who was already in the doorway turned around, then smiled widely without any offense. "Yes, I am."
