Chapter 10: Fighting

Camoline stared fixedly at Londer who was 2 meters in front of her. Somehow it had to be at a distance so far, but that was what Barcus had ordered earlier. The two faced each other without doing anything to start the pre-planned fight. Camoline tilted her head with eyes that were watching the two men. He did not intend to really fight. Moreover, his initial intention to approach Barcus, was just asking the purpose of the pages of the history book. And fighting with the prospective clan leader, was something that shocked him.

"So, when will the fight begin? I'd be exhausted if I stood up without doing anything" Camoline said. Londer let out a long breath hearing that. He was actually quite hesitant to fight Camoline, even though the girl was on a higher level than him.

"Mr Londer, you can start the fight. Attack Camoline with all your strength" Barcus said in a commanding tone. Londer's forehead shriveled at this.

"You sure? But Camoline, she hasn't mastered her powers, has she?"

Barcus fell silent. He rubbed his chin, looking to think about what Londer said just now. Then his head nodded after looking briefly at Camoline who was still watching them. He said, "you are right. Camoline's still so stupid that her powers are higher than yours, sir."

Camoline snorted loudly. This strange battle would not begin immediately, if the two men continued to talk. Discussing what he thinks is very unnecessary. Sighing softly, Camoline closed her eyes. Afterwards, he opened his eyes and started raising his right hand. He focused his strength on his palm, until a ball of water was created. With a quick move, Camoline threw the water ball towards Londer with all her might.

The water ball hit Londer's shoulder hard. The man was certainly surprised by what had just attacked him. Unlike Camoline who actually directly crouched with both hands placed on both sides of her body. His fingers touched the grass, until Londer's focus was again shifted to the plant tendrils that suddenly tied his legs together. It's like, the plant is eyeing the position of the water that hit his body.

"Daddy," said Camoline still with her head lowered.

Londer was not silent. He took out fire power from his palm to destroy the plant tendrils that started to bind his waist. Who would have thought, this vine controlled by Camoline began to absorb its power even if little by little. Londer had indeed managed to destroy the plant, but could not stop its movement. Around his body was a grass. Even though the plants that Camoline controls are out of nowhere.

"You won't be able to destroy my plants" Camoline said. At this moment, he had already raised his head. So that it was clear, both of his eyeballs were turning green. He smiled as Londer found it increasingly difficult to stop the movement of the plant.

Grunting loudly, Londer began to look unable to be patient. This time, he unleashed more fire power. He scorched the tendrils of the plants around him until they touched his body. He did manage to stop the plant tendrils from binding the stronger his body, but did not stop the movement of plant tendrils that lead to him. Focusing its power again, this time Londer unleashed its larval power. Slowly, the larvae burn the surrounding plants until they are charred. In fact, the plant tendrils no longer move after hitting the larvae.

Camoline's forehead shriveled slightly, before she let out a long sigh. He had expected something like this to happen. His body slowly stood up, with a gaze that stared fully at the breathless Londer who had to expend a lot of his strength. The two looked at each other in silence. The irises of the eyes of the two people had completely changed. Camoline in green and Londer in red.

However, Londer was no longer as silent as before. He immediately evaporated the water with his fire. The water slowly disappeared. Londer had actually run out of a lot of energy just because of this attack from Camoline.

"Is it because of the difference in levels?"

Barcus stared back at Londer who glanced at him. He nodded slowly. A little hesitant about Londer's question just now. "Focus on this fight, young man," Camoline said, turning the attention of the two men to her. Again, they were struck by a change in the iris of the eye and Camoline's hair that became emerald. "Well, you raise your vigilance." Camoline again brought up a puddle of water from under Londer's feet. Without letting the man fight back, Camoline made the temperature around them become colder. Barcus ran over to Camoline. Compared to the Londer, it was precisely the girl who lost the most energy. Barcus never expected Camoline to be able to bring out almost all of her power.

"Master, you'd better recover the strength first. I'm going to take this girl to the clinic so she can get treated right away" Barcus said. He was certain, Londer still had enough energy to recover his strength.

Londer just nodded slowly. His head bowed, staring at the remnants of the water that Camoline had taken out earlier. He could sense clearly, the immense power that Camoline unleashed to withstand the power of her flames. Sighing deeply, Londer stared at the clear sky. His first fight in this academy really made him memorable. Besides because his first opponent was a girl, also because of the unexpected strength he gained in the fight.

"Who would have thought, this fight puts me at level 35," Londer muttered and then chuckled softly.
