The Wiz

The Wiz
Chapter 64: The Light behind the Shadow

The attacks that the Palace made to the Academy finally stopped. Everyone who was there was of course so happy about it. They were able to return to activities calmly without having to feel afraid of the terrors that continued to be given by the officials of the Palace to the Academy. Because of this, they assumed that Camoline had gone to the Palace so that the attacks stopped. Because they all knew, all the attacks were caused by Zelden who was reluctant to give Camoline to the top officials of the Palace.

However, their relief did not last long. The calm they felt only lasted for a short while. Because they found Aldus and the officials of the Palace came closer to the Academy with soldiers with complete weapons equipment. The soldiers were wearing black clothes. Which is in stark contrast to the robes used by the officials of the Palace and also the Asdus. They wore all-white clothes with gold-colored threads on each side. Those soldiers look terrible. And seeing their existence quite a lot at the moment, it showed as if the Palace was declaring war to the Academy.

Zelden was already in front of the Academy. Stand with the teachers behind him. He faced Asdus with his calm face as usual. Although he wondered about the reason Asdus brought so many soldiers.

"Just go. Leave the girl to me, Zelden." Asdus spoke with his sharp eyes. The intimidating aura was so suffocating to those around him. However, Zelden looked as if he was unaffected by such a thing.

"I can't just hand it over, especially the safety of my students is not guaranteed" Zelden said. Forehead Asdus shriveled inside. He did not like how Zelden disobeyed his orders. He looked at Zelden getting sharper.

"Then don't blame me if this Academy gets flat with—"

"You miss me, Asdus?"

Asdus' speech stopped. He looked straight at the direction the voice came from. In fact, a strong scent that he had not inhaled for a long time was present and entered his nose. Slowly, Ash could see it. One of the disciples who walked over approached him with great courage. But that's not what surprised Asdus at the moment. But the iris of the girl's eyes, making Asdus surprised instead of playing. Iris is only owned by the white clan.

In front of him, the student looked at Asdus calmly. He even showed a sweet smile. There was no visible fear at all even though Asdus had emitted a strong intimidating aura. The girl seemed not to be affected at all by that.

"During the meeting, mate." Everyone who was there, especially the teachers behind Zelden and Barcus were instantly shocked. They had never expected that the students who had been the subject of all the disciples were the mate of Aldus.

Asdus laughs. His eyes stared amusedly at the student before him. After 500 years, he was finally reunited with his mate. It was no wonder why back then, he felt no stranger to the girl before him at this moment. Because long ago, there was only one figure who was very brave to look at him.

"Yes, long time no see, Aquamarine." And this time, it was Barcus and Zelden's turn to be shocked. The two stared at the student they had known all along named Camoline with a complicated look.

Camoline raised her head. Ready or not, something like this has been made sure it will happen again. A big fight that happened like 500 years ago. The battle between him and Aldus. Camoline stared intently at Asdus, while the man only displayed a grin. Asdus' body is back. He slowly walked over to Camoline. Unfortunately, he actually got an attack from the girl before he managed to get in front of Camoline.

Asdus looked at his injured arm. The wound was quite severe but not a bad thing for him. The wound would immediately close back on its own thanks to the strength he had so far. Asdus grunts amusedly. Camoline's eyes had already turned hostile. It reminded Asdus of their battle back then.

"Striking His Highness the Great is the same as saying war on the Palace. Everybody, Attack!!!"

The soldiers immediately advanced and attacked the Academy. Camoline could clearly hear the terrified screams of the students inside the building. From the corner of her eyes, Camoline could see how the teachers including Zelden and Barcus were holding back the higher-ups of the Palace or the soldiers from entering the Academy. All of the soldiers that Asdus had brought, not a single one dared to touch Camoline. It seemed that Camoline was the mate of their King, making them not dare to act rashly even Camoline was on the other side.

Asdus chuckled at what was happening at this moment. He again approached Camoline who was still standing still in her place. The look in his deep eyes locked Camoline's gaze.

"You made all this happen, baby." Camoline rolled both her eyes lazily. Even without him doing anything, Aldus would attack the Academy for his own satisfaction.

Bukk.

Camoline pushed Aldus so hard that the man took a few steps back. The atmosphere around is getting worse. The smell of blood has even begun to enter into the smell of Camoline.

"Let's finish the war 500 years ago."

"Ah, you mean to do the same thing as 500 years ago, right?" Camoline snorted loudly. He quickly attacked Aldus. As powerful as he continues to attack Aldus even though he knows that the man is far superior to him. It's like a Camoline bar suicide fight. With this extremely limited ability, he would naturally lose by a landslide.

However, this is the goal. This was his plan even though it had to cost him many lives.

"Perpete an attack?"

Liora nodded. He stood up, staring out the window. One more thing that surprised them was the fact that Liora was so good at strategy. The reason Liora was put into Topaz Academy was for the girl to stop meddling in the Palace warrior squads.

"That rock will crack even more when its power disappears, won't it?" Camoline nodded. Straight away, Liora smiled brightly. Now the look on her face reminded Camoline of Lily. The girl is still in this room.

"There is no quickest way to eliminate that stone other than to eliminate all the power within it. You must fight with Asdus to the death."

"But a great war is going to take place here. There will be a lot of lives lost if we let that happen" Violetta said. Both his hands were shaking. He was of course very afraid just by imagining war.

Liora exhaled. He looked back out the window. His forehead shriveled, a sign that he was thinking.

"Do that, Camoline. Eliminating the curse of course by eliminating those who have also been cursed. You were destined to eliminate the curse, so God gave you your new body without the power to have the stone completely destroyed."

Everyone looked at Silver. The girl said it in earnest. Lily and Violetta would naturally never agree to Silver's words just now. They had all seen how Camoline was doing when the girl brought out her element to cross the line.

"I'll do it."

"Yes, I'll do it" Camoline muttered. His chest started to hurt. Indicates if it is completely restricted to the last for its water element. Immediately, he tried to focus on the other elements. Continue to give attacks to Asdus who more often dodge, or attack the Palace officials who seemed very eager to see his death.

Camoline paused for a moment. His breath was so hunting with a face that became extremely pale. However, the girl's eyes still remained sharp. He looked at Asdus intently.

"Yes, let's do it like 500 years ago. I'm ready to pick up my second death!"
